She discussed everything with us and it was all perfect. The hotel done everything we had no stress at all. Any questions we had Ruth got back to us straight away she was so helpful. The room were the ceremony was held was decorated beautifuly. I couldnt fault it. The staff were amazing when i arrived they were on the ball with everything. And they helped my husband with everything he needed. After the ceremony we came down to a table full of cocktails which looked amazing all of the guests were talking about the cocktails all weekend. While we went off for photos, our guest were served with drinks and nibbles. Then we had our meal which was amazing the staff done a great job. Everything was perfect, everyone loved the food everyone was talking about it, and still are. Noone was left hungry.Everything was amazing. We could not fault a thing. It was the best experience and thank you for making it the best day for us.🥰 elaine & shane.

I have booked twice via Groupon for the 2 night stay and I have no fault at all .The staff are super friendly and helpful .The food is amazing . The staff provided blankets to wrap up so we could dine outside in the wooden cabana. To my surprise when we arrived this time the staff
provided a tepee ⛺️ in the room for the children ,it was such a treat for the kids . If your looking For a cheap hotel and a friendly atmosphere and great customer service And delicious food . I would highly recommend this hotel .it is less then 30 minutes to tayto park for the kids and
Right down the street there is a huge park for the kids to play in if you would like to sight see . A beautiful hotel in a superb location .

W.We got married here on the 6th of August 2021 and I have to say the staff were excellent, they were so kind and considerate to us and so understanding when we had to change dates due to covid restrictions. They added love touches to our day and made us feel so special. Ruth was primarily our point of contact when planning our wedding and she was excellent so professional and nothing was a problem she was very calming when I was stressed also. I would highly recommend this hotel for your special day.

H.We had our wedding reception here last week and I can honestly say from day one it was the best choice we could of made.From our initial visit with the hotel and the team we instantly fell in love with the warm cosy ambiance at the hotel. The staff were always on hand for any queries that we had and I would especially like to mention and thank Ruth,Teresa and Brendan for all their hard work behind the scenes;it certainly didn't go unnoticed. All our guests were raving about the excellent food and there was plenty of it as well and we must praise the bar staff involved in our signature cocktail 7th heaven...was divine. Everyone loved their rooms and in particular we had a little flowergirl that was treated like a princess and wants to go back to see her teddies,haha. We cannot thank you enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams ,it was truly magical and highly recommend you to everyone.Thanks again for going above and beyond,lots of love Davina and Keith

C.Staff were amazing everyone is really friendly they made our stay perfect, breakfast was da only let down, we arrived 20mins late so we had to pay extra which I didn't mind at all cause this was my fault,but when it arrive it was dry and over cooked and when we said this I was offered a free tea and scone,which was nice, but I wanted my fry for breakfast and after paying€240 for two nites i was very disappointed

J. R.As exceptional as we've come to expect. Our first dinner out since March and naturally we were a wee bit apprehensive but as it turned out there was no need to be. The bar is spaciously laid out and very clean. All the social distancing and hse guidelines are followed rigorously yet the friendly staff put you at ease straight away and it is by no means awkward or uncomfortable. Our meal was very tasty and my first pint of Guinness in four months was worth the wait! Thanks very much for a lovely evening.

J. F.We used The Castle Arch Hotel today for a family get together. There were 20 of us and we phoned ahead a couple of days in advance to say we would be having the carvery lunch. The hotel were so accommodating and looked after us so well. The food and the atmosphere were just great. Thank you.
D. R.We arrived 30 minutes before the carvery finished. The selection was very poor so we decided not to bother. We were offered the bar menu to look at but didn’t fancy anything on it.
However, we did have the carvery lunch here before and it was very good, so I wouldn’t blame the hotel for us arriving late.
It’s a long time (6-7 yrs) since we had lunch here so I have given them 3 stars from memory.
Maybe next time we will arrive early and have a better experience. 😃

s. k.Fantastic food served by a very friendly waitress, I had the stirfry in oyster sauce with noodles, my daughter had the potato skins with chips and my sister had the 8oz burger with all the trimmings. Each dish arrived piping hot and very well presented, we all really enjoyed our meals and we will definitely be back again.

M. P.Four of us stayed recently for 2 nights. The 2 nights were great. We had asked for the rooms in a quite part of the hotel as we had heard there was a night club and debs party on during our stay. The rooms we got were fabulous and we were never disturbed by and night life during the course of our stay. The restaurant food was great so much so that we ate there on both nights. Everything about our stay was great. Staff are so friendly and helpful. We would defiantly recommend this hotel.
S. S.The Castle Arch hosted our Annual Presentation Dinner Dance. Cannot fault the meal or the service. We had over 200 in attendance and not a single complaint from anyone. Would reccomend unreservedly.

It's a very traditional Irish hotel, it doesn't pretend to be something it isnt, it's comfortable at its 3 star rating and it owns it.
There's a fantastic carvery here on a Sunday, great big portions, reasonably priced and food is delicious.
There's a massive function room, and I mean Big! Would have no issues hosting a party or an event here and the staff are very nice and attentive.
The car park is the only slight negative its a little small and fills quickly. Otherwise its grand.

The Poached Salmon was easily one of the nicest meals I have had in years.I know it is not the trendiest place in town but it beats them all hands down .Each time I go in I am always impressed. J. T.The Castle Arch is a beautyful small hotel suitable for family gatherings weddings birthdays etc. It's very central an d ideal for people travelling by public transport. Dinner is served daily from 12 to 3. which is excellent. Half portions are available. The staff are friendly and helpful.
