They were slightly more expensive than some other firms but with something as important as buying your first house I felt it was best to go with quality over cost. The only con I would note is communication. Sometimes days would pass and we wouldn't have been told a document had arrived but we had to call ourselves to confirm to move the process along. But a minor flaw in the grand scheme of things. Would recommend them.

About five years ago I was in a single vehicle accident near Dublin airport. The vehicle I was driving became uncontrollable and left the road ending up on its side in a ditch. I received multiple injuries and was unable to resume my duties for a long time afterwards. From the get-go I knew that this was going to be a very difficult protracted case to pursue through the courts. I approached Maurice Leahy Wade & Co, following a meeting with Hillary Ó Connor who looked at this case with the same doubtfulness as myself. However after she read my report engaged a number of investigative engineers to examine the suspect vehicle and the accident site, although no "smoking gun" was initially found some major issues were discovered with the braking system and an odd combination of light alloy wheel rims that had commercial tyres fitted. After five long years and over four exhaustive hours of "Battle" in the law library we came to a hard fought settlement. I cannot thank Hillary and her team enough for their diligence commitment and determination. Their strong attitude given the nature of this case also backing me to what could have been a very bitter end. I would highly recommend Maurice Leahy Wade & Co solicitors to anyone who needs sound unbiased legal advice and will pull no punches when the battle commences.
