A complete pleasure to deal with. First time after a recommendation and they managed to sort out a tricky traction control matter on my BMW 2007. I was wondering if it would be a NCT fail and scrap but they went the extra mile X 3 and the car (also serviced) is like new. Really nice to deal with too and reasonable. Top notch. Thanks guys. Obviously mechanical craftsmen as opposed to money grabbers.

If you live in South Dublin you've probably been searching for a BMW specialist for your older or post warranty, pride and joy but with no luck. Faced with a trek out the furthest other side of the M50 you probably got your local, and I'm sure well intentioned, local garage to do the work for you with variable results. But us BMW owners know how fickle our motors can be and that the diagnostics can be tricky for even the most experience mechanic. This is where I was at with a particularly annoying post operative sound (of deafening screeching levels) coming from my 3 Series CE. After weeks of failing to find the problem and get it repaired, but having a fair idea what it was, I decided to cast the net wider and searched Co.Wicklow and found East Coast Autos, located the 'near end' of Bray, 20 minutes from my home. Shea and team were able to investigate and offer a solution to the problem and specify exactly what the issue was, explain it clearly, how much it would cost, when it could be done and then deliver on all those promises on time. Basil is now back in full health and has a new doctor in East Coast Autos. Highly recommended, very professional and reliable. If you're south side, or indeed further away, East Coast Autos is yer man for yer Beemer. (They obviously do other marques but for me, I need a BMW specialist and this is it). I'll be back.

Extremely helpful, we broke down in bray got towed to the garage and despite being flat out took the time to help us out because we had to travel back to kildare, could not have been more helpful and would highly recommend them!

I grew up reading the Harry Potter books, so if anyone knows a thing or two about wizards it's me. Now imagine instead of Harry carrying a wand, that he went around brandishing a wrench all day covered in oil... that'd be Shea in East Coast Autos. My car was absolutely J.K. Rolled In, until Shea went at it with his tools shouting, 'Win-car-dium Leviosa'. Within a matter of days my four-wheeled friend was back from the dead, and I was able to hit the road again. The guy is a wizard in mechanics clothing. Siriusly Riddikulus. Ten thumbs up.

Been to East Coast twice for servicing and have some repair work done and been very impressed with their knowledge and work ethics. In my last time there, i was advised about stuff in the car that will require fixing at some stage - no need to have it done for the moment. Really appreciate their honesty. On top of that, Robert and Shea are really nice people to deal with. Price for the work carried out is also very reasonable. You immediately know you've found your garage when the experience of having work done on your car is stress free. To me, East Coast Autos is that place! Pedro BMW 520D

Have found a permanent mechanic! My car failed NCT on emissions multiple times, went through lot of challenges figuring out what could be the problem. Got it to Robert after hearing nothing but praises about him. He checked and advised change of CAT. Perhaps any other major garage would have done it too, with a deeper hole in my pocket. What I liked about Robert was his approach, he tried resolving cheaper parts first before touching CAT. And overall service rate and proces were quite reasonable. Passed NCT with flying colours and ZERO emissions reading! Will be coming back for every future issues.

Highly recommend shea and his team, had a issue with a 5 series headlight, went to numerous garages, the ones that even showed a bit of interest quoted ridiculous prices, Rang shea he new exactly what the issue was and had it sorted in a couple of hours at a brilliant price, car sailed through nct after, I've also rang recently for advice on another issue and shea was happy to help over the phone, not many like this around who are so knowledgeable and decent with pricing, I shall be using east Coast from now on, thanks again shea👍

Hi all, I’m delighted to say that I have found my mechanic that I will be using for the rest of my days. I now wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else or trusting anyone else but Shea to fix my car. Shea is the most honest mechanic I have met. It was the first time that I felt I wasn’t ripped off after leaving a garage. I have always brought my car for repairs and services to a well known garage in South Dublin who recently told me that it wasn’t worth my money to repair my car as it would cost more than the car was worth and it would take a very long time to repair. However, they were willing for me to sell my car to them for a very low price. I was very suspicious of this. I thankfully found Shea through a friend at work and Shea had the car repaired within a few hours with zero hassle for a very reasonable price. My car flew through the NCT the following week. Also, Shea was able to give me a free replacement car to get back to work while he was fixing my car. This service Shea provides is the best in Ireland. He is extremely skilled at his job. I would 100% recommend Shea’s business to everyone👍

Years ago (2014?) I brought an Audi A6 here with a snapped timing belt tensioner bolt so there goes the valves and a piston, these guys got it running like nothing happened after 3 weeks, thanks for that great garage!
