Halfords displays how excellent customer service.is done - Well done guys, keep up the good work! No other shop looked up which bike-rack would fit my car with spoilers on the back, assembled and fitted it for me with instructions/demonstration on how-to afterwards. I had the most pleasant experience, in the Halfords Store in Dublin ,on Saturday 29th January 2022 Was able to get my car wipers fitted, and the exact spray touch up paint. At a very reasonable cost ,compared to what a garage wanted to charge me I also got my lights,trye treads ,water and brake and oil checked they did not charge me for that part It was brilliant they had what I needed. Bought an Urban Escape tent last August and it split in half this year. Went down to the lads in Halfords and they couldn't have been any more helpful or understanding. Got the Manager for me and he exchanged it for my cash back, in less than 5 minutes! Lovely bunch of lads and always so cheerful and happy to help. Excellent, absolutely very happy with dealing with the staff at the Coolock branch, I was returning back a 5 year guarantee warranty Battery with my receipt today which we only had for the 3 years but unfortunately it went flat/Dead even after trying to recharge it ourselves to no success but today I was dealing with three young Gentleman at the till who were so helpful and kind without any hassle they gave a new replacement of the same battery, only caught Jason name and dealing with two darker hair young men I would like to say a THANK YOU TO ALL . I went out for what I thought was a straight-forward dash cam installation and sods law - my battery went. Dylan (who was only meant to install the cam) was fantastic. He changed my battery there and then, changed my raggedy ol wheel trims (which was a bit of a nightmare but fair play to him he got them fitted), checked tyre pressure, oil, topped up windscreen wash, and was really friendly all the while. Fantastic service!

Halfords Malahide Road, excellent experience. I had my 5 year old and four year old with me. They want bikes of Santa. And the children never got to see Santa this year which they were really sad about. But they had a Christmas experience going in looking at the bikes as staff members that were guys too talking about how they have contact with the elf’s and they were going to email Santa now and let him know which bikes they wanted and walked around the shop with us with great patience laughing and smiling and having the children so excited picking out bikes it was an amazing experience for them and when we left all they kept asking about was that one of Santa’s work shop and how they going to be really good for Santa. It was great and besides that they were so friendly professional polite and kind which is the most in important thing in any communication with anyone stores and every day life. Not just their job but it was who they were themselves and so happy and excited for the children too. If anything who I dealt with instead of competition for customers it should be for their excellent customer service. That is how happy I was I don’t feel so guilty about kids not getting to see Santa this year and since going they haven’t asked about seeing Santa again because they felt they already went to a work shop to ask what they wanted and happy enough that Santa was too busy. So I guarantee you will not be disappointed with the customer service here. Even in the other departments every one smiled at you and just made you feel that happy Christmas feeling. So yes I very Highly recommend them and shout out to the two who I dealt with Stephen and Oscar. Both really amazing at their job.

Highly recommend Dean in Halfords Coolock. He was very efficient and polite while attending to my car, did a brilliant job, I was delighted with the result. Fixed the back brake light cover with a genius idea which turned out really well. Also, replaced a front light bulb, rear wind screen wiper, topped up the oil and coolant and did the Winter Car Check. All in a professional and friendly manner. OK, trying to fix this review. Originally I reviewed a visit I made about three months ago. At that time I had ordered and collected a battery. The transaction was smooth as silk, despite me arriving days too early to collect it. The girl who served me went to great trouble to track down the item, which was in their "goods inwards" area. Today (24/06/21) I added a different review, which obliterated the original associated with the thanks below. So, now the original review is back (after a fashion). I think the bike was being put together while we were there, I ordered it 10 days ago. I had a gocar that I had to extend, I was on my lunch, so it was inconvenient. This being my second visit to the Coolock branch of Halfords, I was so impressed I decided to give a short review. This isn’t something I normally do or am used to but sure here it goes. I found the store to be very well stocked and easy to navigate between sections. The Covid guidelines and directions from staff were both clear and direct but friendly at the same time. The aisles were all clear which in such stores with bikes and scooters etc being used by kids is not always the case. I was making a couple of purchases that I felt would be a bit arduous but with the support of who I found out to be the manager ended up being easy as he informed me of the range of the products and their styles and safety standards which resulted in my purchases being very easy to make in the end without feeling pressured to buy a particular product that he wanted me to buy. This store is obviously very well managed and staffed. I would highly recommend this store for range of products, staff knowledge, service and welcoming atmosphere.

Satisfied with the service. Quite professional. Had to go there since Halfords Blanchardstown had no time to fit a bulb which was done here in a jiffy. In and out in about 5 minutes with a new headlight bulb fitted. The store is pretty big itself with 2 levels- motoring and accessory on ground level, bikes on level 1. Parking available outside the store since this is part of Shopping Centre. However the approach to this store is through Malahide road. We were guided through some back road by google maps but that is not thoroughfare.

Mispricing van seat covers, marked 9 euros each unit, missing pricing label of €30.00 per unit, went on amazon and purchased 2 units waterproof seat covers for same price €30.00, arrived within 2 days as I explained to staff member at Halford who told me Amazon takes 3 weeks. I got 2 for price of one for being buyer beware of amazon. Same with other product items, a third of the price online amazon. Think twice before making any purchase, chances are your paying a big double premium to walk into a halfords store. In the UK in 2000, I got great service in Halfords, so locations and times change with online now. Some items best to buy in store, while others can be picked up online for alot less, just read reviews, number of reviews and star ratings!

I'm giving a 5 star rating because of my experience here today, 22/12/18. I had bought two Dipped Headlight Bulbs in the Tallaght Store last month, The Left side went the other day. I was confused as they were the super bright 55W ones, that cost €22.70 a bulb. I went into the store today and had been approached by a member of staff, After talking with him about the bulb and the car, and explained what happened, He then offered to give me a new bulb free of charge, and wished me a Happy Christmas! I was amazed and blown away by the generosity of this small but kind act! And I have to say, he was a pure gent, If only other stores had members of staff like this! I will definitely be back in the future for more purchases! Great Store, and great staff.

Not a bad shop in general, but I have booked today a free air conditioner check for my car and the guy who was looking after have tried to co duct the check and then he realised that they don't have the connection for my car. It's a bit disappointing how it comes you are lack of tool making checks for a Peugeot 2014.... Don't recommend them if you need something to be done on your car!

Went to Coolock Store and was greeted by a young man called Dillon. There was a problem with my light cluster rear passenger side. He checked the fault and whilst doing it invited me to a complimentary '15 Point' check with Halfords compliments. Dillon checked everything even filled my window sprayer and gave me a clean bill of health. He suggested there was nothing wrong with bulbs so it probably was to do with the earth. He suggested I visit my service garage and sure enough they confirmed it was the earth. What a lovely way to start the week with Dillon sorting out my light cluster problem. The world needs more Dillons ! 😃
