For those asian friends who miss cakes and tarts as you’re away from home, lucky you as this shop serves the best tarts at Dublin! You got to eat it hot on the spot! It also has a lot of different flavours which are all so yummy! The cheese tarts are my favourite! Not forgetting about the cakes sold at this shop too! The cakes are also very delicious :D Anddd about the staff here, Uncle is the friendliest person and have a great sense of humour! Would definitely recommend everyone to drop by and give it a try! 😋😋😋

I first noticed this bakery a couple of weeks ago and have put it on my To Try list in Dublin. Finally got the chance today and bought a taro, sweet potato, Baileys cheese tarts, and 1/4 original castella cake! I absolutely LOVE the cheese tarts. They are soooooo yummy! The filling is creamy and the tart has got the perfect crispy crust 😍 My favorite one so far is the taro one!! The original castella cake is delicious as well. Spongey and not too sweet! Just the way I remembered it from Taiwan!!! I will definitely come back for more of these freshly baked goodies 🤤 I want to try all the different flavors they have!

The incredible heavenly taste of their cakes and cheesetarts plus the friendly staff makes this place a go to for me and my husband :) I can just say that you'll never forget that first bite! Real authentic Asian cake served from this shop. Everything is made fresh everyday too and you’re in much if your cake has just been taken out of the oven! The tarts are real creamy and not short of filling as well. The staff are great and super friendly as well. Definitely a favourite in my household and would highly recommend!!

You can easily tell that they use really fresh ingredients. The cheese tarts are super creamy and the roll cakes are moist and fluffy. I also like how they use buttery biscuit as their tart base. Keep up the great work!

I adore this shop. I have been shopping here from time to time since they opened. It's the only place I can get traditional Asian cakes that are freshly baked everyday. All the types of cakes and tarts that I've tried have been mouth watering delicious, soft and fluffy. The quality of cakes are 100% every time. Very friendly owners and staff that I got to know over the time I've shopped here. I feel like a family. I highly recommend this store if you love cake that are not overly sweet. Suits my tastebuds. Ordered off of their website and I didn't get what I wanted as they don't make some of the cakes they used to like the matcha cheesecake. Hence the website is yet to be updated. This is still my favourite pastry place. And I LOVE the cheesecake. This is the only place that gets cheesecake right and perfectly according to my taste. Definitely recommended. Suggestions: try the mini wobbly cheesecake, matcha cake role, coffee cake role and definitely try chocolate cake roll. I'm yet to taste the tarts and everything in their menu looks amazing as is. I've bought from here several times before and I already loved the shop. But here's my first review. I wish there's more than one outlet. As I travel half hour in the Luas just for this as I stay far south as I couldn't get these delivered. Will come back a million times. Just opposite the Stephen's Green Luas on the ground floor. Really nice staff.

I was craving a good Swiss roll so I decided to give this place a try. The matcha Swiss roll really hit the spot. Super fluffy with strong notes of matcha and delicious fresh cream. Also caved into temptation and bought a pandan castella - super fluffy and balanced. So worth it!

A small limited bakery with a few seats to eat your cake. BUT the cake is very very good. I've had both Japanese Cheese Chart and Japanese cheesecake while in Japan several times. and these cakes are every bit as good. I'm so happy to have a small store selling these in Dublin. The original Japanese Cheese tart comes in a variety of flavours. It's a flaky pastry base with a soft centre. These don't really taste like cheese, instead are more like a soft cheesecake. The store sells flavours like Original, Coffee, Macha, Chocolate, and Baileys. The 'Japanese Cheesecake" is best know from youtube videos of this soft, fluffy sponge like cake. What you get is a very tall, very light, fluffy moist sponge cake. Staff were very friendly and offered samples of their cake. Fresh cakes are bakes all day.

Delicious cheese tarts and cakes! Tarts come in many different flavours and my favourite is the Baileys tart. I personally prefer to store them in the fridge and eat them after, it gives the tarts different texture but keeps the same great flavour!

Discovered the excellent "wobbly Japanese cheesecake" in the famed Uncle Tetsu's of Toronto. This place offers the same/better cheesecake and other Japanese treats. Really friendly staff and excellent cakes. I highly recommend a visit.

As someone who has traveled across Asia and has a love for all things Japan, I was sorely missing a proper Asian bakery. Let me tell you this place is incredible. If you love Japanese cheesecake and have ever tried Uncle Tetsu you will not be disappointed here.

Got my cakes using a voucher today. Really tasty and reasonably priced. I hope this place spreads because it’s a really good cake. May not seem super “fancy” but much tastier than other cake places around the area.

Simply said, fabulous! The approach to the customers is nothing less than perfect. I have bought their cheese cake, original and pandan cake. No one can say thats just a sponge cake, its way more, and it is a must try for everyone. My fiancee said that we will be regular customers, lucky me! Really the most indulging and guilt free cakes in Dublin. The Pandan and Earl Grey castella cake is a Must have! The classic cheese tart is a perfect complement to your afternoon tea! The japanese cheesecake is like as fluffy as a pillow!!! Hats off to the lovely staffs there, they really help you make a good choice for your tastebuds!
