V. C.Any good city centre barber in Dublin I've trusted, and there have only been a few, leave town, get complacent or retire. The price of a cut has escalated over the years as well so I was surprised when quite a fussy friend of mine raved abut this joint. I brought my mop and scepticism along and fell in love, why?
Not the cheap price, the friendly staff, the current magazines or the lack of snobbery. These things all helped but The Academy has the one thing many Irish barbers don't.
THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT I ASKED THEM!
I had asked for something quite experimental as well and it was done without a second look or a sneer.
I have a new regular barber now. It's been a while.
