Buying a used car always comes with a sense of uncertainty and reserve but buying a car from Ross & Jackie takes away any reservations you might have. I recently bought a car from them and I can honestly say that it was plain sailing from start to finish. There is no cheesy sales talk, just honesty and the knowledge that they will stand over any car on the forecourt. McNamara Motors is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a used car without the hassle and a great after sales service!

We bought a qashqai from Ross in McNamara Motors in September and we couldn't be happier with the service provided. There was no pressure to buy like other garages and the after sales service is second to none. There was a very minor issue with the car after purchase and without hesitation Ross provided us with a courtesy car and sent the qashqai to his mechanic and kept us updated every step of the way. We would highly recommend McNamara Motors to anybody in the market for a car you will not be disappointed with there service.

We bought a used car here late last year and could not have been happier with the service and help we were given by Ross. After the purchase we had two minor issues, one of which was outside the warranty period, and both were resolved immediately by them without any fuss or hassle. I could not recommend McNamara Motors highly enough both fo pre and post purchase of a vehicle from them. I have dealt with many dealerships over the years but Ross has definitely beaten everyone to date for his customer service and vehicle quality. I will without doubt be returning to thie dealership again in the future and I have no difficulty in recommending them to anyone thinking of purchasing a vehicle in the future. Bought a 10 Mazda 2 from McNamara Motors in the summer and the car has been perfect since. Ross was very easy to deal with and offered a fair price. Next time I'm upgrading I'll definitely call to them first. They sold the car with 2 year NCT and provide a warranty as well.

I dealt with two people here, Ross and Alan. Both were very knowledgeable and very helpful. There was no 'pressure selling' whatsoever. They not only allowed a car to be checked over by my mechanic they delivered it to him and left him have it for as long as he needed. I would really recommend checking them out if you're looking to buy a car.

I bought a car from McNamara's in December 2020 and it was a very postivie experience. I was attracted to them as a result of the very positive reviews here and I can confirm they very much lived up to the reviews. If you want to find out what McNamara's are all about I would encourage you to read the 'About Us' page on their website. It was my experience that they lived up to everything they say on this page. Personally I am not much of a car person, it is purely a means to an end, so spending circa €10k on a car was a daunting experience for me but Ross gave me excellent advice and I can attest to the fact that he puts absolutely no pressure on you whatsoever, he answers whatever questions you have and encourages you to think things over and give him a call if you have any questions. The cars are pesented immaculately before and after purchase and the whole transaction could not have been more straightforward. There was a bit of a delay in my registration certificate arriving (which I was sure was down to the Xmas postal backlog) but I wanted to alert Ross to this and he was back to me within an hour and things were sorted very quickly. I only have the car a month and I will update this Review should the need arise but I am confident I will have no cause to change my positive opinion. If anyone ask's me for a recommendation on where to look for a used car, McNamara's is the only name I will be giving them.

I had a fantastic experience with McNamara motors. I had recently purchased Peugeot 308 make 2012 & I'm delighted with the car. McNamara has authentic cars & they make sure to take care for all the aspects of the car before handover/delivery. Even if anything is missed, you can always approach them later & they take care of the issues. I recommend them!!

I am not of the habit to leave reviews however Ross and McNamara team deserve a serious mention. Buying a new car can be daunting and there is tonne of untrustworthy sales car dealers out there that would tell you everything you want to hear and would lie to get a sale through or offload a troublesome car. Here it is not the case and I can only recommend to anyone to go and have a chat to them about you next car purchase, you won’t be disappointed.

I would recommend McNamara motors to anyone. I dealt mainly with John who is an absolute gentleman. He was so polite, helpful and respectful which in my experience is not always how men in garages treat a woman on her own. I recently traded in my fiesta for a Kia Rio( lovely car), when I got home I realised that one of the wing mirrors was damaged. I contacted John the next day and he assured me that they would sort it for me which they did without any fuss. Great customer service. I also met Ross and a female employee who were also very pleasant and helpful.
