Having given a day of visiting so called garages in Dublin where I was trading in my car for a suitable 7 seater, after day of dealing with cowboys seeking to extort what they could I found a nice smax for sale by Derek weldon decided to visit. Never been before to the place but have to say that I was really impressed by the genuine sincerity and honesty of derek junior. Deal done that day, delighted with the first class service, will definitely do future business here.

I've been going to Weldon's for 10 years now with four different motors, for servicing, repairs etc. Most recently I damaged a side panel on my Land Rover Discovery Sport in a minor collision (scraped, dented and even punctured). I got some quotes to replace the panel and all were very high. Derek Jr suggested a repair which was coming in at half the price. I was definitely sceptical about how it would turn out because the damage was so bad, but since I trust Derek I went with his idea and was not disappointed. Incredible finsh. Still can't believe the panel wasn't replaced. I highly recommend Weldon Motors.

After reading all good reviews, I have decided to take my car for a full service and timing belt replacement. Got a fair quote from Derek Jr and dropped my car for service. Spotless service and ever better customer service! They even fixed my broken glovebox! Lucky to have such good garage just next door! I'll definitely bring my car back for future work.

I very rarely buy my cars from a dealer as I always prefer to buy privately . However against my best financial judgement I decided buy from Derek Weldon a Merc E class 7 seater 250 CDI AMG estate . I got a bad deal on my trade in which was a Porsche Cayenne and I paid top dollar sticker price for the Merc . So why am I a happy customer ?! Simple- 1.The Merc was the best presented used car I have bought from a garage ever .Pads , disks all changed , no dents, and lots of mechanical work done. It was exactly the spec and model I was looking for and beautifully presented. 2.I knew 5 mins after meeting Derek Jr that he was hard working honest and knew his trade inside and out. 3.I was given a real 6 months guarantee that I know he will stand over with an excellent level of after sales service .Already proved this week ! The motor trade needs to wake up and stop taking short cuts for short term gains. I urge other independent family run garages to learn from the Derek Weldon Garage and do what's right for the customer . You can charge what you like when you perform like these guys !

On the very day I first moved to Rush 16 years ago the head gasket blew in my car just outside the village. I managed to limp it into the first garage I could see. Thankfully it was Weldon Motors. They told me the car was banjaxed (my words not theirs) so I frantically called the bank, arranged for a loan and bought a car from Derek that very day. Today, I bought my 6th car from him. I always buy my cars and have them serviced in Weldon Motors for the dimple fact that they're honest, reliable and always stand over the cars they sell. No matter the emergency, in business hours or not, they're always keen to help. My eldest, who was asleep in the banjaxed car so many years ago will be starting to drive soon. There is nowhere else that I'd consider going to, to buy his first car. A family owned and run business for more than 40 years. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I’m amazed with the quality of service at Weldom Motors. It is without a doubt the best experience I ever had while dealing with a mechanic/garage. I’m always short for time and decided to Google a garage that would collect my car, do a pre-nct check, service it clean it up and bring me back so I could go to the NCT testing next week. Derek did everything I’ve asked for, additionally my car gps wasn’t working and now it works. He also went with my car to the NCT Center. The car passed and the lads did a great job valeting the car, incredibly clean, in and out. I saved myself the trouble of going to the NCT next week and I’m delighted with that. This is what I consider a proper VIP service/treatment at a very reasonable cost. I’m not going to any other garage from now on, this is the best and you gained a new customer here!! Thank you!
