Hired a boat for the week. Which is expensive and expected a super boat. The Corvette B Looked great on the website but was A v tired boat and worn boat. Bed clothes I have thrown out better. Life jackets looked like the Cheapest one's they could buy. Ended up buying our own. Have problem with water pump over 2 days. Cabins v small. Don't look for microwave it's not there and no key for safe. Although we did have a go ok d week it would have been better with a good boat.

3Night Trip on the Shannon We were a group of 5 that rented the Caprice boat for 3 nights from Portumna. The boat was great, plenty of space. Easy to drive and maneuver. When we arrived the staff were super friendly. We were advised to call before hand to ensure our details were correct and this helped as we were able to get onboard and launch the boat by 2pm. We got a briefing from Timmy, who couldn't have been any more helpful and accommodating to us. He answered all our questions, explained everything about the boat. He also gave us advice on where to go and what to do given it was our first time undertaking a trip like this. We felt safe and confident by the time timmy had finished the training with us. The trip itself was great fun we found it relaxing and fun. It was cool to stop off in all the different towns along the way. Returning the boat was easy and stress free. Once the engine hours were confirmed and the deisel bill sorted we were free to go. Highly recommend the trip and will hopefully book with Emerald star Portumna again.

Learned a lot about boats from our instructor, he made sure we knew our stuff before letting us head out. Stag was also class. Highly recommend, especially for a stag.

If you've ever wondered if a break on the Shannon was for you, just book it and go. It's hard to describe it to someone who's never been, but I've never met anyone who only went once. The staff at Emerald Star, from telephone enquires, to pick up, to handover have always been friendly and accommodating. Whether it's your first trip or your tenth, they'll share some nugget of information to make your trip better.

(Translated) Important note to the dinghy at the end of the review !!!!! We had the boat Classique Nr.50 and were mostly satisfied. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The boat had already 15,000 engine hours and that was good to see in some places. The seals of the windows and doors could be renewed. The Duscherlebniss is a great thing. Such a nice shower we do not even have heim.Die heater smells unfortunately a bit uncomfortable and the boat has no indication how full the waste water tank ist.An some corners If the boat is to be renovated, on others you can see that this is already the case. Otherwise, the boat is well equipped. We would choose leboat again. !!!! In the dinghy's engine, it is important to make sure that the small valve on the tank cap is open. Otherwise, the engine will go out while driving. (Original) !!!!!Wichtiger Hinweis zum Beiboot am Ende der Rezension!!!! Wir hatten das Boot Classique Nr.50 und waren überwiegend zufrieden.Das Personal ist sehr kulant und freundlich.Das Boot hatte bereits 15.000 Motorstunden und das war an einigen Stellen gut zu sehen. Die Dichtungen der Fenster und Türen könnte mal erneuert werden.Das Duscherlebniss ist eine tolle Sache.Eine derartig schöne Dusche haben wir nicht mal Zuhause.Die Heizung riecht leider leicht unangenehm und das Boot verfügt über keine Anzeige wie voll der Abwassertank ist.An einigen Ecken sollte das Boot renoviert werden,an anderen sieht man glücklicherweise ,dass dies bereits der Fall ist.Ansonsten ist das Boot hervorragend ausgestattet.Wir würden leboat wieder wählen . !!!!Bei dem Motor des Beiboots ist es wichtig,darauf zu achten,dass das kleine Ventil auf dem Tankdeckel geöffnet ist.Ansonsten geht der Motor während der Fahrt aus.

The boat is easy to use for beginners, even if you need a day to settle in. Our boat, the Classique 50, was very spacious and provided with the cabins also retreats. Unser Boot, die Classique 50, war sehr geräumig und bot mit den Kabinen auch Rückzugsorte. Das Deck ist toll, die duschen ein Traum. Der Tisch im Wohnzimmer wackelte jedoch leider. Die Betten sind nicht groß, aber akzeptabel. Rundum ein schöner Aufenthalt
