Hired a boat for the week. Which is expensive and expected a super boat. The Corvette B Looked great on the website but was A v tired boat and worn boat. Bed clothes I have thrown out better. Life jackets looked like the Cheapest one's they could buy. Ended up buying our own. Have problem with water pump over 2 days. Cabins v small. Don't look for microwave it's not there and no key for safe. Although we did have a go ok d week it would have been better with a good boat.

3Night Trip on the Shannon We were a group of 5 that rented the Caprice boat for 3 nights from Portumna. The boat was great, plenty of space. Easy to drive and maneuver. When we arrived the staff were super friendly. We were advised to call before hand to ensure our details were correct and this helped as we were able to get onboard and launch the boat by 2pm. We got a briefing from Timmy, who couldn't have been any more helpful and accommodating to us. He answered all our questions, explained everything about the boat. He also gave us advice on where to go and what to do given it was our first time undertaking a trip like this. We felt safe and confident by the time timmy had finished the training with us. The trip itself was great fun we found it relaxing and fun. It was cool to stop off in all the different towns along the way. Returning the boat was easy and stress free. Once the engine hours were confirmed and the deisel bill sorted we were free to go. Highly recommend the trip and will hopefully book with Emerald star Portumna again.

If you've ever wondered if a break on the Shannon was for you, just book it and go. It's hard to describe it to someone who's never been, but I've never met anyone who only went once. The staff at Emerald Star, from telephone enquires, to pick up, to handover have always been friendly and accommodating. Whether it's your first trip or your tenth, they'll share some nugget of information to make your trip better.

!!!!!Important note about the dinghy at the end of the review!!!! We had the boat Classique No. 50 and were mostly satisfied. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The boat already had 15,000 engine hours and that was clearly visible in some places. The seals on the windows and doors could be replaced. The shower experience is a great thing. We don't even have such a nice shower at home. Unfortunately, the heating smells slightly unpleasant and the boat has no display of how full the waste water tank is. In some corners Should the boat be renovated, fortunately you can see from others that this is already the case. Otherwise the boat is excellently equipped. We would choose leboat again. !!!!With the engine of the dinghy it is important to make sure that the small valve on the tank cap is open. Otherwise the engine will stop while driving.

Very nice boat, great service. The employees were very friendly and briefly explained all the important things. The boat is easy to use for beginners, although it takes a day to get used to it. Our boat, the Classique 50, was very spacious and also offered places of retreat with the cabins. The deck is great, the showers are a dream. Unfortunately, the table in the living room wobbled. The beds are not big but acceptable. All around a lovely stay

The sundeck and the windows were dirty on arrival. Windows are leaking. Shower too small. Ropes have to be replaced. Doors need to be oiled. Staff was very friendly and helpful and nice. 👍 (Original) (Classique 50) Das Boot war sehr abgewohnt und es gab kleine Schäden die aber nicht wesentlich waren. Nur der Tisch im Salon war nicht sehr stabil (hat immer gewackelt). Das Sonnendeck und die Scheiben war schon bei der Ankunft dreckig. Fenster sind undicht. Dusche zu klein. Seile müssten mal ersetzt werden. Türen müssenggeölt werden. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und nett. 👍

Ireland is a brilliant country, especially when you explore it by water. The boats from Emmerald or better yet Le boat are a bit old for their relatively high price. Still, it was absolutely brilliant!!!
