Our family thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in Castlehamilton (July 2021). The two houses we rented - one in the Courtyard and the Gate Lodge, were very clean, nicely furnished, well appointed and well serviced. There was so much to do in the locality - we swam in the nearby lake everyday, walked from the houses to Killykeen Forest Park. Took trips to Florencecourt but the highlight was our walk up Stairway to Heaven - Cuilcagh Boardwalk. Audrey and Alan were on hand to help with our queries throughout our stay. I'd highly recommend a stay here.

We had a lovely stay at Castlehamilton, the owners are so nice and can cater for many things.. They keep their guests well looked after and satisfied, we stayed for a whole weekend!.. One of the best spots in Cavan to stay with so many lakes in the area to choose from, unlimited spots for fishing and places to take a boat/kayak out on the lake.. We highly recommend for any couple/family ☀️

A great place to spend your holiday. Beautifully renovated 16th century farm -castle. Owners Alan and Audry quill welcome you with opened arms and can't do enough for you. Go fishing with the resident guide Bernard and enjoy some of the best fishing in Ireland.

This is a fantastic self-catering cottage - perfect for a longer stay. We stayed in the Gate Lodge for a wedding in the area, and it was really great. It's equipped with everything you need, and just a short stroll from the centre of Killeshandra.

Castlehamilton is an absolutely fantastic accommodation complex and so peaceful. The ideal place for groups, or to come with friends or family. Its location, Killeshandra, makes it a privileged place for our fishermen friends (boats, transport, meals, fishing guide...) I highly recommend....

Great! Throughout the stay! Impeccable and very complete accommodation to live there even with the family (washing machine, complete equipped kitchen, TV with French channels, wifi...) we always take full board and the meals are copious and very good (especially the little evening soup!!!!) fishing is magical, very Irish techniques but super nice! The guides are real fishermen, very friendly, they even lend their own equipment! And life in Ireland is like nothing else (the politeness and kindness is impeccable!!!! And the Guinness at the pub in the evening is the must of the stay!!!!!
