Restaurant here serves excellent food. Was part of a group of 6 today, had the chicken curry and it was the best chicken curry I ever ate, thank you. The staff were lovely, everything was excellent. We’ll be back!

Popped in here for dinner after a busy day exploring Cobh. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Checked vaccine cert and ID and whole process was very efficient. Food was phenomenal. We both ordered the fish and chips. Massive portions. Bottles of Co we got were ice cold as well. 15 euros each for the food which was good value for money given the size of the portions. Thank you for a lovely dinner.

I had a 'commercial room' and very good it was too.
Off season and I needed a bed only and was pleasantly delighted with all.
Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Bar staff congenial.

Second time staying here and it was still amazing. Wonderful friendly cheerful staff, great food and spotless large family room. Breakfast left at the door each morning along with supplies of everything you could need . This lovely gem has a place in our hearts and we will be back .

Spent two nights here very recently with one of my best friends. we were in Cobh to visit Spike Island. From check in to check out our stay at The Commodore was in my opinion, faultless. Superb accommodation, at a more than reasonable rate, excellent food, and the location, again excellent. Forgive me if I have forgotten names, but your staff are all Top Class and should be both complimented and rewarded. They are your heartbeat. Have recommended The Commodore to others, and as for us, we will definitely be back! Continued success and keep up the excellent work. Our trip was a real pleasure. Bren & Paul.

It is a hotel in cork we visited on Sunday. We ordered Guinness, Thai curry, chicken wrap and steak. Food preparation took around 45 minutes. Thai curry was served with rice and it was good in taste. We were satisfied with chicken wrap too. But steak was not properly cooked. So here we got disappointed with steak and preparation time.

Stayed for two nights over the weekend and it was perfect for my friend and I. We felt at ease by how much effort went into covid guideline compliance.
The beds were comfy and our room was tucked at the back so it was very quiet. We could hear the people next door when they were coming and going through the shared hallway, but not once they entered their room.
The only thing I'd say as a word of caution is that the WiFi wasn't great and kept dropping out. My data connection was not great either so it may not be a place to work remotely or if you need a heavy internet connection. But if you want a break from your phone, then it's perfect!

Comfortable and spotlessly clean! The food was amazing!
The staff are so friendly, polite and extremely helpful, they pointed us in the right direction on places to eat while we were out and about. We will 100% be returning!

My family and I are only back from a 2 night stay, the Staff and management were so nice and friendly, the food was excellent and our rooms were spotless, beds very comfortable, the shower was very clean. We will definitely be returning for another staycation. Well done to the commodore for a lovely time.

Stayed with me Husband on 11/9/2021. We had booked the Spike Island after dark experience so decided we would stay overnight.
From booking (a few weeks before) to check out was fantastic.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are so professional and will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay.
We ate in the bar there and the food was very enjoyable, particularly the Ballcotton fish pie. It was absolutely delicious.
It is worth mentioning that the car park is really small so they have very limited spaces. These can not be precooked. It must be booked on arrival. If you are lucky enough to get a space, it is €7.50 per night.
I only gave 4 stars. I docked 1 because of a few little things.
We stayed in room 101. Lovely room but there was a huge tree right outside the window. The tree itself was not an issue. However there was hardly no natural light getting into the room because of it.
There was an issue with the TV. At first it didn't work at all. Then maintenence had a look and fixed it but once we turned it off and back on only 4 channels were working. We made do with that.
Last thing is there is no breakfast. We were told the cafe/grill was open when we enquired if we could purchase breakfast. We made our way down but all they did was a breakfast panini. I had this and it was absolutely dire 😟. It was cold on the inside and it was downright wrong 😅🤮
To recap: Lovely Hotel with wonderful staff. Makes for a very pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this hotel. Our stay was very enjoyable just go somewhere else for breakfast. 😊

The commodore hotel had friendly staff, beautiful views and large rooms. The rooms were spotless and had everything one could need. Also ate in the resteraunt and it was great value, would recommend

Amazing place! I had to stay for two nights there during a lockdown, the staff was lovely and extremely helpful! I hear a free room upgrade which granted me a lovely view!
I could order food in my room and had a lovely fish and chips and an Irish coffee!
A. C.
Perfect location, clean and comfortable room. The staff absolutely amazing. My daughter and I have multiple allergies and they was able to accommodate us. All my wishes was looked after during our stay. Thank you 😊💓
I. A.
Great location and the building was very clean and well presented. The staff in reception were very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious.
The only slight let down was the snack they dropped to every room (in place of breakfast services due to COVID-19) didn't have enough for four people and one of the two windows in the room we stayed in was screwed shut and it was a particularly warm night.
I. O.
We stayed few day's in Commodore Hotel, and can't say a bad word about it. Room was lovely and clean with sea view. Staff was nice,so definitely recommend to stay over there.
e. h.
Well it's forty years since I last stayed here and it's still one of the best hotels in ireland to stay in, room fantastic spotless, Food excellent, bar staff very helpful, reception just to let you know I won't take forty years more to Come back see you soon. When I visited here last it was Mr and Mrs O'Shea had control. But there hard work has paid off as its the same today.
L. R.
Well situated hotel. On the seafront. An old building. Beautiful views. Hotel staff very efficient.
Couldn't understand why they couldnt do breakfast. Indoor dining was allowed with covid? Rooms were very basic but clean.
Lack of sockets in the bedroom. Needed updating.
But over all a very nice stay.
We ate in the bar. Food was fabulous best scampi I had eaten in ages.
Fresh scampi. Partner had steak. Said it was delicious too.
v. s.
We didn’t stay at this hotel but we had food at the restaurant. The food was good and not pricey.
We had the panini and the burger

Only home today after a 2 night absolutely loved it staff were so nice and friendly and the food was amazing! I recommend the fish and chips and my fiance had the the steak sandwich both were top class. Will definitely stay here again! Also a plus it's less than 2 mins walk to the ferry for spike island!

Restaurant review.
Average food. Standard decor.
Food was ok , chicken wings not crispy. Reasonable pricing. Staff are friendly but young and inexperienced.
B. W.
Great location, fantastic food, lovely friendly staff especially Eadaoin, Ciara B, Sabrina & Debbie who were very helpful. Small roof top area was lovely & had great view.
M. D.
We only had food there today 18/6/21. The service was excellent, staff very friendly and obliging. As for the food, we had to to wait for about 20 minutes (steak well done and steak sandwich but I'd glad drive for Kilkenny to Cobh for the pleasure. Amazing. Also my friend loved when 2 staff members sang happy birthday to her!!
M. l.
My husband and I stayed at the Commodore for 2 nights the June weekend. it was absolutely fantastic, everything was so clean and safe, staff were constantly cleaning and sanitising.
The food was delicious and the service was %100.
Each member of staff were so friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend the Commodore hotel.

Stayed in Cobh over the weekend and went twice to the Commodore Hotel for dinner. We choose to eat in the bar. Food and service was excellent.

Lovely old world hotel with lots of history, good food and service
D. B.
could change the menu more often. A week of leek & potatoe soup is not my idea of a varied menu.
I. Q.
Very pleasant and enjoyable visit, staff are exceptionally pleasant, helpful yet professional.
D. R.
Food was delicious.. could do with putting a side on the outside seating area to block from cars passing and cold wind .. otherwise lovely and very pleasant staff
C. L. B.
Had food from the bar menu 7 of us everything was grand very professional, helpful and efficient staff
R. W.
Staff were amazing nothing too much trouble for them. Hotel was spotless and followed all covid rules. Looking forward to my next visit.
W. V.
Cleaning and hygiene are excellent, so nice staff with a beautiful welcome smile and they are very helpful. It's an old style hotel it's design brings you to the many years back with a modern facilities and excellent customer service.
L. T. B.
We had lunch here on a rainy wet day and it was lovely. Good social distancing, unlike a lot of places, and the staff and service were great. Food was excellent too, solid pub food (we had a toastie and scampi and chips). Very generous portions and clearly all freshly made.
M. M.
Immaculate Hotel, staff are extremely welcoming, rooms are newly refurbished, very comfortable beds, lovely pint, classic sea views. This hotel focuses hugely on hygiene and social distancing. Very glad we booked in here.
B. O. C.
The Staff! Full stop. From when we arrived until we left, banter, manners, kindness, good honest hardworking people make this Hotel what it is. We had booked a Mon Tues stay, but a storm was forecast for the Monday... I called on Sunday before we were due to travel down and asked for the trip to be pushed out till Wed & Thursday... No problem. No charge and no attitude. When we arrived I had asked for the possibility of a Friday night stay also, they were fairly booked up and on Thursday morning told us that was no problem they moved some bookings around to accommodate us. So from the reservations team, to the lads on check in, to the bar/waiting staff to the cleaners, the management of this hotel should be very proud of such sound and genuine people working here made the few days away.
A. K.
Staff ,food, hotel bedroom , complimentary goody bag everything excellent ,can't wait to return ,cobh fantastic place to visit so much tosee and do ,all within walking distance to hotel, top class,👍
A. S.
Great location but lacks all the facilities & dated
K.
Beautiful hotel with great character and decor although the room doesn't seem like it had been redone in a long time. Staff were very professional and friendly. They were very considerate of new restrictions and left a small snack breakfast outside our bedroom door in the morning at no extra cost
E. Q.
Just spent last night there had a fantastic stay. Beautifully decorated for Xmas. Spotless. Lovely sea view. Food was excellent. But most of all the staff were outstanding all smiling and chatting away as Cork people do. We will be back.
D. O. C.
Very clean rooms. Helpful and friendly staff would definitely stay again
B. W.
Hotel is perfectly situated on the seafront. This hotel is very popular with private functions but they made room for us too.The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room appeared to be newly renovated so was brand new with everything lovely and clean the shower room was spotless. Will definitely visit again. We had a room overlooking the seafront which made our stay.
everything lovely and clean.

Came here from Dublin to finally see the Titanic exhibition. Great hotel. Lovely location. Seriously hardworking and friendly hotel staff😊 such a pretty town! Can't fault anything but the weather! Ha!
J. L.
Lovely food and staff friendly
J. M.
Loved it. Full of charm! My only dislike was that staff seemed a bit away with themselves and at times a little rude at the desk. And we had to ask for water for our children three times in the restaurant, which was a bit much. I also think information and charges for children should be available online as it was not and we were charged extra at the desk, just be nice to know in advance! Other than that I absolutely loved it and I would be back in a second.
H. M.
Excellent service, hotel was immaculate, staff all very nice, waiter named Jake in particular was very attentive and friendly!

Ate here for dinner and ended up staying the night. Great meal and super grand rooms. It was nice to stay in a place with so much history. I appreciate that some of the original details were left. Highly recommend!

Staff were so helpful in everyway possible. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Food excellent. Done everthing possible to make our stay a memorial one

Visited here with my wife and child, and the meal was excellent. Great service from the waitress sorry I can't remember her name. I had the turkey and ham all I can say is wow was late in the afternoon and it was still so moist and tasty. My wife had the fish and chips what a massive sized portion and the batter was perfect. The small guy choose of the kids menu & he also received a massive portion. The prices are very fair for what you get. I would totally recommend the commodore for eating out with family.

If you have never been to the town of cobh, a small suburb of Cork, it's worth a look; though I wouldn't go too far out of your way. It has a nice waterfront which has huge cruise ships and navy vessels which are occasionally greeted by a brass band. The commodore is located near all this. We ventured in to escape the cold and found a nicely decorated hotel with welcoming staff. There are pictures on the wall from the last century showing liners of the time. We had the chowder and a side of chips. The chowder was very good; rich and creamy with a portion of adequate soda bread. The chips were average and my companions gluten free bread was sub standard. The chowder had large amounts of fish and was seasoned well. May warrant a 4 star rating in the future.
F. F.
No hot water when I went for a shower after a day's work. This was a big disappointment to me.
One available power outlet and one hidden behind the bed, not great for when using the laptop, had to pull the table over to the bed
R. K.
Room was very clean and because of Covid restrictions, everyday fresh linen and towels were dropped to your door along with a food bag of a muffin, an orange and a carton of orange juice. Staff were very friendly, we had conversations with Éadaoin (hope I spelt it correctly) and Natasha and both offered great advice

I spent one night on 4th July, just after they reopend again. Staff was really nice, friendly, professional and well trained to follow all the new instructions and protocol. It was a nice weekend away and feeling quite safe. Well done to the hotel team!
K. G.
Absolutely brilliant place the staff cannot do enough for you and the view from the front rooms is fantastic the town is within easy walking distance car parking in private car park is great. The old white star booking office with the origional pier is just across the way. So much history in one town is fantastic. My wife and myself loved the place so much we have stayed twice.
A. O.
It was good experience food was so nice
K. Q.
My family and I stayed here for Easter. We all had ocean view rooms which was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable, lovely front of house staff and housekeeping were wonderful as well. The only negative was the breakfast, it was included thankfully because it wouldn't be worth paying for. Very long wait for the Full Irish both mornings, dried out meat and overcooked eggs and seemingly confused staff. Hopefully that can be improved on as it was a real let down during our stay.
H. N.
Lovely hotel 🏨...courteous staff.. and Lovely food
A. H.
Hotel was in a great location, off street parking. Rooms were nice. Lady at the reception was great! She was very perfessional, yet had a little humor that we giggled about for days. The older waitress in the bar could have been a little more on her game but no harm no foul, maybe she was in training.
D. P.
Our room had a double bed and three singles, plenty of space, clean and a beautiful view overlooking the bay.
We had no time for dinner but had a very good buffet breakfast on the next day.
The staff were efficient and friendly, will certainly come back again.
A. M.
Commodore Hotel is in an ideal location centre if all activities
Hotel is spotlessly clean.Staff are friendly ,helpful and informative.Food was excellent .
L. S.
Difficult times as mentioned. Commodore seemed stricter and a little unwelcoming by the staff.. but... They were one of only two places we could get anything from and their internet helped me out a bit... Maybe they deserved a 5 star but the smoke came into the hotel from somewhere and that was extremely unpleasant.

We were looking for a restaurant to have lunch. As we searched, we were looking at the menu's posted in the various restaurant windows for review. We were looking at the Commodore Hotel Restaurant menu when some local residents walked by and told us to go ahead in and have lunch there. We would not be disappointed. They highly recommended the food at this establishment. That was enough for us, we were going to take them up on their recommendation.
We went in and we were not disappointed. Everything was as we had been told it would be. The food was delicious, the prices were right and the staff could not have been nicer to our group.
Two things continued to surprise me.
First of all, I had been exposed to Seafood Chowder the very first day that we arrived in country. I enjoyed that experience greatly and was hooked immediately. From that point on, if I saw Seafood Chowder on a menu, I was ordering it. The surprising part for me has been that at every restaurant, the recipe seemed to be different BUT equally delicious none the less. The Chowder here was different from the others but very good and thoroughly enjoyable.
The second surprising thing was that I couldn't get a hamburger cooked medium-rare, anywhere in Ireland. I asked for medium-rare everytime I ordered a hamburger and received the same response every time. I was told that it wasn't legal for them to serve any hamburger cooked less than medium. I received the same response here but I must add that the medium hamburgers that I had in Ireland were very good; better than I would have received at home. Maybe it is because Irish cattle are fed differently than the cattle at home. For whatever reason, I enjoyed my hamburger at the Commodore Hotel Restaurant very much.
If you are looking for a very good meal, at a very good price, in very pleasant surroundings with excellent service, this is the restaurant for you. Give it a try and as we were told by the local residents, you won't be disappointed.

Myself and my husband and parents had dinner outside the commodore last night the girl on the door Hollie was an absolute hero she took our number rang us as soon as there was seating even came out on the street to look for us when my phone died and I also saw her do this for a number of people She was fantastic thank you, also our waitress
Natasha she was fantastic excellent service extremely friendly even came out in the bad shower of rain smiling and joking was an absolute pleasure to eat there and food was delicious, we highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back. Thank you
W. H.
Very pleasant staff. Good bar and restaurant but the rooms are a little tired and the shower I had was in a poor state me repair. Water was warm but not hot. 6 out of 10 really. Would I go back? Yes probably but that's because of the very warm staff! Just need to sort the showers out!
D. L.
Great hotel in super location. Staff are super friendly and can’t do enough for you. Food is also excellent. Highly recommended
S. W.
Beautiful clean and very friendly hotel... We were upgraded and it was amazing beautiful location straight across the road from the water. Excellent stay
p. h.
Great location in Cobh it's a must to get the sea view room. Great food in the bar and for breakfast. And the staff are fantastic, Eve was the young lady who served myself and my wife and she couldn't have been anymore helpful towards us.
S. B.
Beautiful place in a lovely Village. The room was completely New painted and had a lovely seaview. 348
The full Irish breakfast was great. I enjoyed my stay and recommend this place.
A. M. C.
Friendly staff, food ok...a little slow
J. T.
Loved this hotel, stayed two days and was really clean, staff where really helpful and friendly. Breakfasts are great and a reasonably priced bar. Would highly recommend.

I would like to thank all the staff in the commodore hotel, we had my daughters confirmation yesterday and the service and food was amazing. A special mention to nicola she was amazing
I. B.
Enjoyed several evening meals here recently.
Staff are amazing.
Too notch on Covid 19 preparedness but delivered in a very pleasant environment.
C. C.
I was in there after a funeral and had a few pints with soup and sandwiches which were very tasty. TOP marks to the bar man and the rest of the staff.Very clean and well run hotel. Will definitely be returning.
M. W.
Stayed in the commodore again in May 2019 and couldn’t believe they remembered me from the previous year 👏🏻👏🏻 same room allocated. Delighted with that. Everyone is so professional in their job which makes a stay so much better. Comfy bed,tea and coffee with biscuits in the room. What more do you need. Lovely little bar connected to the restaurant which I had the pleasure of enjoying a cold beer in with a menu that looks excellent. Again I thoroughly enjoyed my 5days in Cobh and would recommend the commodore to anyone.
A. R.
Oh I like it here ! We had a sea view and who wouldn't like that. To be honest the local economy might have suffered due to the fact we enjoyed being in our room.so.much. Staff really appreciate the guests and will endeavour to do whatever they can to accommodate you. The value was good. The location perfectly in the middle of everything seafront. There is supposidly a snooker table you can use if you need to. But we didn't get around to asking . The breakfast was damn good value. Cooked ( with choices), or continental ( again choices) .
The building with history being built around 1850. Nice little quirks , such as our room.being between floors causing what can only be described as an Escher like experience. Up the long flight of stairs to the landing turn back on yourself to another long flight of stairs to a landing, turn right through a door along a long corridor, through another door, down half a dozen steps, immediately to your right, up to another small flight of steps to another small landing, up a dozen steps through an opening to a small corridor with two rooms..
All manageable unless poor mobility , and a lovable quirk I won't forget . I'd stay in the same room in a heartbeat. It was also an extremely big room ( expected a double , but got a double bed and two singles. Bath and shower. Very comfortable. Excellent. I recommend you choose this hotel above others in the area.
R. A.
Fine for a night. Decent breakfast, but coffee needs improvement. Good parking. Not very quiet in the lower rooms. Historic building. Rooms tired but clean.
D. B.
Smashing food and the staff really lovely
F. C.
Staff very friendly And helpful. Great freshly cooked breakfast. Hotel needs refurbishing. Saw the legendary Jimmy Crowley singing in bar. Car park at rear, extra charge.
j. k.
Myself and my family had a wonderful experience at the Coomodore this evening the 14 of August. Holly was our lovely waitress. She is excellent . The surroundings are perfect with a nice anbience and decor. The menu has a lovely balance of choice. All our food was delicious and well presented. Great value and highly recommended.
G. H.
Good staff clean room the shower are not the best besides that great place to stay
A. M.
Very happy stay at the commodore. Jill arranged our daily trips above and beyond the norm arranging everything down to the minutest details.
Food and service both excellent. Restaurant staff when, even under pressure were calm and always wore a smile.
Thank you Commodore
P. F.
had a meal at the weekend here. it was gorgeous, mussels as a starter and then chicken salad. Our waitress was so friendly, really good experience.
S. S.
Eadaoin at the receptions desk was so friendly and helpful through out our whole stay. The rooms were comfortable and very reasonable. We will definitely be coming back to Cobh as it's so lovely here!
i. Q.
Great place fantastic location staff are so helpful and the chef sandra o'shea is absolutely 2nd to none food is amazing this is a good around hotel for a weekend break
T. O. h.
From the moment you enter the bar/restaurant you are greeted by friendly staff ,our server Fihina (Filly) was great no overly fussing but was quick and made sure everything was ok a few times.
The food was very good and they have a fairly wide menu ,all in all a great experience.
P. C.
Excellent food and great Staff

I am giving this four stars because it’s good value for money, not because it is a four-star hotel. The location is brilliant, the bed was comfortable, the price was right, and the restaurant was good. Absolutely nothing about This hotel is a four-star hotel, but I think it’s a good exchange overall. I really loved my View, and watching the people go by.
A. T.
We stopped at Cobh after a day trip to Fota wildlife park and we were looking for a place to get some dinner. After a short walk at the port and a search online we couldn't find much so we decided to have dinner at the Commodore hotel. I think it was the best decision we made for all the choices we believed we had. The food was amazing, we had the catch of the day which was fresh salmon. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was really nice. We also had a great pint of Guinness! I can't say much about the rooms or the hotel.in general as we didn't spend the night there but I would definitely recommend the hotel restaurant!
G. B.
Lovely old hotel but the years have taken their toll on the fabric of the building. I last stayed in The Commodore in 1992. Apart from new bathrooms not a lot has changed. Treat it as a step back in time and you will love it.
J. H.
Nice restaurant with very nice staff. Food and atmosphere were perfect for my family and I. I’ll go again for sure. The view was great outside!
S. F.
I'm giving hotel 5 star for the wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are fresh and clean. Great view of harbour.. It's an old hotel but it's got a nice feeling around it.. Great value.
Z. J.
Really great hotel next to the waterfront, a few good resturants, and some activities (such as a Titanic museum). Helpful receptionists, great breakfast, and rooms that allow smoking. Definitely a hotel worthy of such a high rating. 5/5
A. K. S.
Nice place, good breakfast and perfect location in town. The rooms are a bit antiquated but there is a nice view of the harbor. Not every room is handicap accessible so make sure you make your request when booking to avoid problems.
K. W.
Didn’t stay in the hotel, was in the bar and restaurant. Food was amazing and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!! 👍👍👍
C.
When we arrived our greeting wasn't exactly hospitable and we were send up to our room which actually wasn't ready and we were sent back, the second room smelt so badly of smoke and was dark and looked out onto a horrible roof . We asked to change rooms and had to pay 16euro more. This room was so much better with a sea view. Beds were really comfy and bathroom clean. The tv though! It was so tiny it couldn't be seen when lying in bed!&We went for bar food and it was surprisingly good even though we got Guinness instead of Heineken and lemon cheesecake instead of Bailey's cheesecake.!!!the staff were really lovely. Breakfast was nothing special, with a little bit more effort it could be so much better! we also had no hot water for showers in the morning and when we called reception we were told the plumber was coming soon!! We had a funny time at the Commodore and would visit again but somebody needs to inject some love into this historical hotel!
S. A.
Very nice Hotel lovely friendly staff very welcoming into the hotel very helpful 🙂🙂🙂
K. M.
Service at lunch not great, I felt rushed. The food (turkeyham) was presented well, the portions were small and the there was only a coy sugestion of gravy. Not the standard I would normally expect from an estabishment in Cork.
a. c.
Just rounding off a weekend in the. Commodore Hotel . We had 16 people in total the accommodation, food and staff were all top class . No request was a problem . A fine hotel . Take a bow
M. T.
Stayed for one night, sea veiw room was really nice, food was fabulous, staff very helpful, looking forward to staying there again
D. M.
A great hotel for the price retaining its Victorian charm, centrally located in Cobh and full of characters.
When I stayed here there was a retirement party going on in the downstairs bar with a lot of singing and atmosphere in the afternoon.
Rooms were good, large and clean; nothing like a modern hotel but that's what makes staying at places like the Commodore all the more interesting - individuality and character.
E. F.
Nice and helpful staff. Building is showing it's age but room was ok and warm. Nice food at the bar even tho service was slow.
J. A.
I'm only rating the restaurant as we did not stay here. Went for dinner with the family. The restaurant hss high chairs available which helps with the little ones. Great food and drink menu. A good selection of local Irish beer and really fresh sea food. Great service and really enjoyed the place. Good price too. Worth it to eat and drink here.
E.
Old fashioned but Charming hotel. Service is good, staff friendly. Busy bar. Food average, but nothing to complain about. No vegan dish unfortunately.
D. G.
Welcoming, cordial staff. Large, bright, clean room and bath. Comfie bed with crisp linens. Great sea view. Plenty of outlets for charging devices. A historic hotel that is also up to date.
b. t. G.
Really enjoying my stay, staff are very friendly and helpful and the room is just right. I would happily recommend this hotel.
D. S.
Very nice hotel near the water. Interior decor takes you back to what it must have been like more than a century ago when it was new. Excellent service and good food. A short walk away from the Titanic Exhibit.
J. H.
Top class for food not expensive great value, huge menu choice. Rooftop Beergarden, if you want to use it. A must visit if you are in Cobh. Friendly staff good atmosphere great views good food and bar. Ask to staff to allow you on the rooftop beergarden, excellent.
J. R.
Room was nice, most likely just renovated. Clean and comfortable. Have mixed feelings about the staff - some were quite unpleasant.
L. K.
Hotel was very comfortable. Lovely view from our room. Food was lovely. Staff were friendly.
E. R.
Very good service, friendly staff, brilliant food.
M. T.
Very Satisfied Staff very nice and helpful great location very central
P. O.
If you get a room on the harbour side the views are great. Take your camera. And don't be even thirty seconds late for breakfast. Because the answer from the kitchen will be 'tuff'.
M. K.
Lovely hotel. Warm and friendly. Rooms spotless and the Murphys went down well too.
M. O.
Enjoyed the stay beautiful sea view but very disappointing about the Shower actually couldnt have one water was cold and barely trickling out so receptionist gave me a key for another room just to have a shower and was exact same thing first time ever going to a hotel and not been able to shower... 80 PERCENT of the reviews are complaints about the shower or bathroom and still it's exact same... VERY DISAPPOINTED

Food was good. However, the fish and chips are not the best. The fish was not crunchy, but soggy. The fries were ok, but not as good as courtny's in lucerne ireland outside of dublin.
