Incredible team working there in every role. There was rarely any waiting and the efficiency and quality of service was amazing. The support at the function we attended was second to none.
Food at dinner and breakfast was exceptional. Portion sizes and quality were great.

We were lucky enough to have our ceremony, reception, meal and evening celebration at the Castle in December and everything was better than we could have dreamed of.
From our initial zoom call with Patrick back in February right up until we left the Castle the morning after the wedding, everyone we dealt with was professional, accommodating and friendly. This team know what excellent service is and understand weddings, they took the stress out of planning and delivered a seamless service throughout.
The food was out of this world and variety in the menu was fantastic, all our guests commented on how wonderful the meal was and also how attentive and warm the staff were.
We can't recommend this amazing place and team highly enough.

This place seems to only cater for wedding parties but I have to say when you specialize in something you may do it right, and this place does it right. Had an absolutely brilliant evening meal and Drinks. It made me feel like I was a special and looked after the whole night. And the head server/waitress was phenomenal. 5 stars all day long.

C.We do not have enough words to describe how positive our experience was with Bellingham for our wedding. We have not come across another supplier who has matched the professionalism, attention to detail, responsiveness and overall just amazing-ness of the team at Bellingham.
We planned our original wedding from Australia which with the time difference and not being able to see the venue could have been difficult, but the team made everything a breeze. Being forced to postpone because of COVID could have been stressful but again the team were always so organised, responsive and had a back-up plan for everything.
The day itself was incredible- the food is like something you would get in a Michelin Star restaurant and the service was faultless. From the moment we arrived our guests were treated like Kings and Queens while still being made to feel completely relaxed and at ease.
The setting of the castle and the grounds overlooking the river make it stunning for wedding photos. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spacious. The Irish wolfhounds are a bonus to the whole experience.
Although the whole team are amazing, a special mention has to go to Ciara who seemed to be there night and day throughout COVID to answer any concerns and on the day was just exceptional.
Our guests are still raving about the day and we have so many beautiful memories from Bellingham. If we were to do it all over again we wouldn’t hesitate to pick the same venue as it is absolutely perfect!

S. M.We celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday here. They set the dining hall with one long table, it was amazing. The rooms are simply incredible, and the staff are amazing, they made us feel like lords and ladies of the manor, Especially John, what a great guy. They served sandwiches and cake and tea and coffee when we arrived at 3. Dinner was delicious, and everything was silver service and hot. Breakfast the next day was also great. I would strongly recommend this castle to anyone wishing to celebrate any event. You cannot go wrong.

The welcoming and friendly nature of every single staff member we met on site is something Bellingham should pride themselves on. A special thank you to Ciara, Jack, John and Tomas also. Their attention to detail and efficient service left me stress free about the venue from when we booked it all in. We had an outdoor ceremony on an unbelievable hot Irish summers day, I cannot explain how beautiful it looked. It felt like we were in a fairytale movie, and this was the exact comparison repeated back to me by our guests. The venue was ideal for all our guests, spanning different ages and lots of different nationalities, all just as impressed with this astonishing venue. The food was spectacular and every single dietary request was taken care of. All our guests had an amazing experience at this venue, evident with a couple of reviews from them already here before I got to write this! I cannot recommend this venue enough.

Everything about our event was five stars from start to finish. Despite planning our wedding from afar (California), the communication process could not have been easier thanks to Ciara and the Bellingham staff. They would respond immediately to all of our email inquiries, and were always willing and ready to jump on the phone (or FaceTime call) to discuss details.
When our big day finally arrived, we were met with red-carpet, white-glove service by an incredibly warm and welcoming staff. Of course, the venue and grounds themselves were absolutely stunning - truly the quintessential picture of a beautiful castle setting in Ireland.
As our wedding day began to unfold, the staff were extremely helpful and communicative with the wedding party and guests alike. They kept us apprised of timing and gracefully guided our family and friends through the castle, from welcome drinks, to our ceremony, to our cocktail reception, and finally onto our dinner reception.
The dinner service was truly a Michelin-Star level experience. The food was absolutely incredible and the attentiveness of the staff to our guests' needs was truly above and beyond. Many of our guests said it was the best meal they've ever had at a wedding, and we agree!
The excellent service continued late into the night, as the staff was on hand to serve late-night bites to our guests in the Buttery Kitchen! They even had the late bar open until 4am for some of our braver guests, who simply had to soak up as much of the experience as they could!
When my husband and I reflect on our wedding at Bellingham Castle, our only regret is that we could only do it once! Given the chance to go back, we would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I've had 10 weddings in the last 12 months and I can say without a doubt that the staff here were more attentive to not only the bride and groom but the entire wedding attendees. Having trawled the internet and visited a number of venues, a family member suggested that my new wife and I consider Bellingham Castle for our wedding venue. We will be forever grateful for that piece of advice, as what followed surpassed all our expectations and enabled us to have the wedding day of our dreams!
Driving up to our first visit to Bellingham Castle took our breath away. The venue is out of this world, just perfect. The jaw dropping Castle and beautiful surrounding gardens had us hooked immediately. The venue is truly stunning, however there is no doubt that it was the staff that created such an amazing and memorable day for us.
On our first appointment we met with our wedding planner Bernie, who was so friendly, warm and accommodating. She and the team at Bellingham Castle made it clear from the start that it was our day and that they would do everything in their power to accommodate us and make our wedding personal to us. From subsequent interactions with the team, we found all of the staff so friendly, efficient and always helpful, regardless of how demanding we were and how often we contacted them.
Ciara and Patrick continued where Bernie left off and helped further in the final preparations for the big day. We were left with a feeling of absolute confidence that everything was going to be exactly how we planned and how we imagined..... and our day exceeded even these expectations.
Nothing was too much trouble and Ciara and Patrick delivered the most amazing day. We had our Ceremony in the gardens on a beautiful bank holiday weekend. Our guests continue to talk about our ceremony and how unique and personal it was and much of this was down to the beautiful setting in which the ceremony was held.
We have just received our wedding album today. The photos we had taken with the banks of the river and waterfall, not to mention the castle as back drop have resulted in the most spectacular album. We are so delighted!!
The food was without doubt the finest food we have ever eaten at a wedding venue. The choices on the menu were extensive and catered for all tastes. Moreover, Patrick and Ciara ensured that no guest was left disappointed. If something did not suit, there was always an alternative. Our guests commented that the service was so good that they felt as if they were the bride/groom themselves.
The accommodation was in keeping with everything else Bellingham has to offer... a truly wonderful experience. This was only enhanced with a beautiful breakfast to nurse our sore heads the next morning.
We remain forever thankful for all at Bellingham for all they have done to help us celebrate the best day of our lives. If only we could do it all over again! We cannot recommend this venue highly enough.
