P. M.My family and I went to Browne's Townhouse for Christmas this year. We arrived the day before Christmas Eve to a warm welcome from Naoive who had come to check all was ok. It was. Browne's is a lovely home close to the centre of Dungarvan. It has been renovated to a high standard. The bedrooms are delightful with comfortable beds, quality bed linen and a choice of pillow heights. The fully equipped kitchen, which is definitely the hub of the house, is decorated in grey and white with tasteful additions of purple. It was warm and cosy with a super long table to seat us all. It looks out onto a large patio which must be lovely in summer. Naoive had a small Christmas Tree in the sitting room for us as well as other decorations to give the house a Christmas feel. She had had the chimney cleaned specially for Santa's arrival which the children thought was a very kind but proper thing to do! Right outside the door is a Handicapped parking spot which can be used for unloading and packing. Free parking is available only minutes away. It was great to be so close to everything from churches to shopping, from restaurants to great walks and the sea only around the corner. The local people we met were really friendly and helpful and although we were on a busy road in a busy town there was a great sense of privacy. There was a very relaxed air to the house and we enjoyed ourselves enormously. Thank you Naoive.
