Newly opened visitors experience which is done very well. Staff were very friendly and informative. Loved the hot and cold smoked salmon. Really appreciate and could taste the difference of their products compared to other smoked salmon. We're luckily able to sample their salmon each morning as was served as part of the breakfast at the Fiddle and Bow during our stay in Clare. Will be on the look out for this in the shops in Dublin.

best smoked salmon anywhere My Parents in-law are visiting from Spain the home of ham Serrano, I wanted to show them our equivalent and what is better than Irish smoked salmon. Where better Then, The Burren Smokehouse in Lisdoonvarna Co Clare. We were met by Vladimir a super friendly guy who was very knowledgeable and passionate about their products. He explained in detail all the processes involved in the production of the smoked salmon, then brought us to the visitor centre, where we learn more about the history of the salmon. We then got the opportunity to taste the hot and cold smoked salmon they had to offer. Vladimir then helped us pick out some of the products to give as gifts back in Spain. We all had a great experience and I now have a greater understanding of the work involved in the Production of this great product. I couldn’t recommend The Burren Smokehouse highly enough!

Really enjoyed this. The Experience is really good and not really what we expected at all in that it is all about the fish rather than the factory. Kids will love it. The member of staff (Vladimir) was very helpful and informative during the tasting experience.

Amazing staff especially Vladimir👌Such an honest person when we misplaced €100 and was brought straight to our table . Couldn't ask for a better night lovely food and craft beers. Fantastic atmosphere.

nice and the new smoke house experience was nice to see. as for the shop i thought was very over priced and aimed at the tourist market and fotgeting that there is a local market but it is not just this attraction that is often gorgetful of local market.

It was a really great experience, I am glad we decided to go here. The self-guided tour and its presentation is great and luckily there were no other people at this time, so we had time for everything conveniently. Despite the small size it is very interesting and has a lot of information for you. The tasters are delicious, also loving the handmade items selection in the shop. Such a nice indoors activity, would highly recommend it! Thank you very much! <3
