Lovely attentive staff and good food. Six of us went here for lunch and we all enjoyed it. You get very generous portions and our waiter was top class. We all had different things to eat . Pasta is very good .Also their toasted sandwiches and their Sole which my Husband enjoyed immensely. We will be back. Better than a lot of Hotel food and you are made to feel welcome.

We were expecting more from the service in this hotel, I believe that they didn't have enough staff. I could see the same people that worked the previous 2 days since 8 AM to 9PM were working again, and again, and again the same shift (like 12 hours every day). Why did I mention this? Because during a couple of dinners the service on the restaurant was slow.
The cutlery and glasses were not cleaned properly. This is something silly for some but not for me.
Also, one of the family rooms needed to be ready at 3PM but that wasn't the case when we arrived at almost 4:15PM. They accommodated part of the family in a different floor, we agreed to that but it wasn't what we expected.
NOW, the good thing, I am giving 4 stars because the attention from the staff was superb!. Very friendly and talkative, always there when you need them. I may give this hotel another try and my score could change positively or negatively next time. They may get the start missing, who knows?

Great hotel, very clean and hospitable premise; friendly staff; and fine, comfortable and well maintained rooms. Good quality breakfast. Amenities are well presented and the location is outstanding with Eyre Square less than 20 mins away by foot & the Coach Station about 20 mins in the opposite direction. Would certainly stay again.

The hotel was the best example of excellent hospitality combined with comfort
was there at business, felt relaxed after a warm welcome. Met a fellow Indian Laksya who guided the lost me and gave best wishes for the future without even knowing me. Leaving him a review is the least I can do.
I strongly recommend the place

GOLD STAR
Where to start. This hotel was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, environmentally conscious, and a staff that conducted themselves in a 5star manner. Modern hotel, both lobby, breakfast room, and rooms. But the staff, the staff! They made the entire experience.

My wife made the booking
Pros:
- Good Location
- Very Polite Staff
- Very Clean
- Plenty of parking
Cons:
- An hour after check-in a cleaner walked into our room without knocking to collect something they forgot.
- In room dining was poor. Selection and food itself wasn't great. When we ordered, we went downstairs to collect it. Staff were confused when we arrived and we had to order it again. We were asked to come back in 10 minutes but staff apologized for everything and delivered it to room.
- We weren't told that you had to put a sign outside your door for cleaning so our room wasn't cleaned.
- Breakfast buffet was also poor. I found hair in my mushrooms and bits of egg shell in my scrambled egg.
I've stayed in this hotel over the years and this seemed like a, "what could go wrong, went wrong". Not a great start for our first holiday since the outbreak.

Had 7 nights here and it it was great staff great all very friendly breakfasts spot on and the checking of the covid passports bang on the way it should be... one small problem the bar area small and no high tables but 10 out of 10

A young man who served us breakfast is an asset to any hotel. His cheerful manner and attention to our needs were excellent. He deserves a bonus!

I had an amazing experience in the Maldron Sandy Road.
All of the staff were amazing especially Colin in the restaurant he was a gent.
The bed was very comfortable, room was extremely clean and food was great.
Would definitely recommend this hotel
J.
Nice and clean hotel and the superior family room is big enough for a family of five. There was no bath in our room tho. They were quite accommodating when I asked last minute for a travel cot. We stayed in room 109 and it is very noisy as it is next to the road. Dunnes and Tesco are within walking distance.

We had a 1 night stay ,the hotel is spotless, the staff very helpful and attentive we also had breakfast and evening meal which was superb, would definitely stay there again and recomend to friends .
F. B.
Well impressed with the underground complimentary parking but think it could have been more secure. The hotel was fully booked but we managed to get a lovely meal in the bar. The bar staff couldn't have been more friendly, professional and attentive. Would definitely stay again.
C. Y.
Hotel room was clean and spacious. It is located 3 minute walk from Dunne Stores, Mr Price, Apache Pizza, Cafe and Paul Byron Shoes. It was actually very close to Galway Shopping Centre ....around 7 minutes walk too. Breakfast was handed up to you at your table. It was lovely and very nice selection to pick from. The bar staff were so helpful and friendly. Overall a very good place to stay. Will definitely be back.
M. W.
We stayed 4 nights and it was a brilliant experience. Everything from start to finish was excellent. The staff were so helpful, the bedroom was big and airy with air conditioning. Our breakfast was served at the table and there was no issue if you wanted more. We ate every evening at the outside tables and the food was fab. Very central for sight seeing
T. C.
A beautiful room and very comfortable bed with upscale linens. We slept well and the food in the dining room was excellent. A great place to stay for a weekend to spoil yourself at the breakfast buffet!
C. M.
Cleaning staff left blue microfiber cloth on top of some dominos boxes we had left on our table for lunch and weren't done with, I removed it and placed it under the tv and will leave there for when we check out so they can collect it. sheets weren't cleaned, just the bed was made up again. Some snacks that were full were removed from room. TV didn't work when remote was used Room looked lovely regardless, just unfortunate about the stuff above. Experience was good with staff when our keycard was corrupted and was replaced immediately, very good service there. Overall it was grand, just need to keep an eye on cleaning staff as cleaning cloths aren't food safe and are a health hazard, especially since we didn't know what was used on them etc. Would recommend and stay here again, just some small issues.
M. M.
Well located hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff. Fabulous breakfast and the service was exceptional. Can't praise the breakfast staff enough. Brilliant teamwork - the manager led by example, helping clear tables etc too. Nothing was any bother to them - really attentive. We were so impressed that I would love to be able to thank them individually & by name.
M. G.
Excellent room and service in a good location. Reasonably priced. Didn't spend too much time in the hotel as we were visiting friends, just had breakfast in the mornings which was awesome!
S. J.
We stayed 2 nights and all good other than few small suggestions.
But we had to wait for 45 minutes to check-in due to cleaning. Finally checked in at 5pm though we confirmed that we may check-in around 3-4pm and reached 4.15. Family room can have Chromecast and few toys based on kids age. Instead of a duvet light blanket could have helped during summer. Staffs were good in response and nice restaurant supervisor.
C. T.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Good location to city centre (10 -15) min walk. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good and Dinner was fab.... Karem and Riona could not have been more helpful in the restaurant...
Room was very spacious and bright. Bathroom had a wet room. Plenty of fluffy towels and easy air con to use. I would stay here again and look forward to it.
V. K.
Staff was nice and seemed to care.
They offered gluten free food for me but didn't label properly saying they were out of tags 🙄. The risk of cross contamination was huge between bagels etc.
After having the rice with vegetables, that they offered me for lunch as the only option, I got really bloated and had cramps until the next day. #coeliac
R. B.
Had a good stay. Room was great food was great. Tara really looked after us. Brilliant service. Looking forward to going back with kids
S. M.
Stayed for the weekend but will be back again. Rooms were comfy and had everything needed. Staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome at every stage. Eoghan and another lad(missed his name) were prime examples of great customer service behind the bar.
L. F.
Had not booked breakfast but the dining room manager was able to accommodate us which we appreciated.
However the night before I rang housekeeping for pillows and requested a plug as there was none in the bath. The young man who delivered the pillows was quite rude and refused to locate a plug for the bath. Therefore it was not possible to have a bath after a long journey up from Cork. Was not impressed with this young man,s attitude.
D. O. A. T.
Great location as close to city center and lost of shops nearby. Staff were friendly and courteous, especially Lorena during check in. Breakfast was very tasty. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.
N. H.
Great location as it’s walking distance from many shops and downtown, and there is free parking. However, there was no mini fridge, and if you want to eat any meal at the restaurant, you have to reserve in advance. Lovely staff!
M. M.
Ther receptionist on duty on arrival ( i din't get her name) was really helpful and friendly and even ordered the taxi to take us into town. We had dinner that evening and Thomas was so friendly and chatty. When we were checking out Leona was on the morning shift and even at the early hour was friendly. Well done to all
a. o. c.
Went there last Wednesday with a few friends, found the place and food to be amazing. Staff member called Lakshayå was so was helpful full of smile and helping with me with bags and other stuff even without asking. Great team and nothing was too much trouble at the place. Thank you Lakshayå for all your help. Hope this reaches ye!!!!

Good hotel, very accommodating, great bed and refreshing sleep 🙏 as typical of Maldron hotels has air conditioning.

We had a wonderful time while staying at Maldron Hotel Sandy Road Galway. The room was lovely and spacious, great quiet A/C that was very welcome on a hot July weekend. The staff were all very friendly and helpful if we needed anything.

The staff is really nice at the hotel. I stayed for 2 days. I was helped and I was greeted everyday by a lovely asian boy by name Lakshya. Big thank you to making my galway trip so good and memorable.

B. M.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The staff were so good, no problem at all, they couldn't do enough for us.
We will definitely be going back to this lovely hotel for the food and the friendly staff.
P. T.
Very good value, food in the restaurant was a very pleasant surprise, excellent. Their click and collect for food in your room is a good idea but not up to scratch. Kids club in the evening is a nice touch. Overall very good.
F. K.
Thought an executive room would have had more to offer, to us it was no different than any double room in any hotel we have previously stayed in. We had no WiFi, no where to keep water cool and experienced long delays being served breakfast, all staff were very helpful ,friendly and courteous at all times.
K. H.
Stay here every 2 weeks for business. Very friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Spotlessly clean rooms and clearly highly trained and motivated team to provide excellent service! Food is excellent too!
C. M.
Had my 21st Birthday for a weekend in this hotel. Staff were lovely and were very accommodating. Bar tenders always came over to our table every couple of minutes to see if we needed anything. Enjoyed my stay would recommend this hotel

As a group on 18 lads staying at the hotel not one complaint we all had a ball the staff were amazing and an absolute credit to the hotel especially Aoife who made a booking so stress free .We never once heard the word no from staff and even with the current restrictions in place the staff went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable .
P. M. D.
We had 5 rooms books as family celebrated a birthday. All the Staff at hotel where amazing & could not have been any more helpful. 1st weekend open after lockdown and everything went so well. The young waiting/ bar staff where only new but they where so helpful, hotel was spotless & we will defo return.
M. L.
Really great hotel for a short stay with family. Room was large and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. Staff were really lovely. Tommy from East Clare in the restaurant is a gem.

We stayed here as a family of 2 adults and 2 kids Tuesday night. Staff were lovely particularly Dylan the waiter in the breakfast room. We ate out the night we arrived but had breakfast the following day which was really good. Big tasty portions , great choice.
Friendly girl on reception and loads of parking. Room was nice and big and clean. Comfy beds, big tv with lots of channels, wifi excellent. Great to have a decent iron and ironing board as well as a mini fridge.
Good shower and loads of towels. Just being ultra picky, but a minor criticism, the toilet paper in the guest bathrooms is really cheap and poor quality, like an own brand bargain one, not what you would expect of a 4 star hotel. Plus we literally ran out of it as we were leaving, maybe leave an extra roll for 4 people? Anyway we really liked the hotel and would definitely stay here again, thank you folks :)
A. S.
Lovely, comfortable and clean room, lovely food, staff friendly
Pleasant stay
R. M.
Staff are very friendly n did a good service, but poor cleanliness, would expect bit more at this stage with covid everywhere - especially on room with carpet .
A. B.
Comfortable rooms.
Very clean.
Really strong procedures for protecting guests and staff from Covid.
Free parking.

Myself, my husband and my son stayed here recently for 2 nights, nice clean room, dinner and breakfast was really nice, it's just lacking a bar in the restaurant.

Had a great weekend ,the staff are very pleasant and very kind ,a lovely hotel to have stayed in and would go back to stay again
K. F.
Happy to be a good review. If there was open bar and maybe some entertainment I would be giving 5. Staff are courteous and friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Modern rooms andrea good heating. Really was comfortable during my stay in room 251
D. B.
Very pleasant stay. They managed to reduce as much as possible interactions with frequently touched points, could do more if they remove the need of the check-in sheet(in fairness they have single use pens available). Other than that, yeah, clean room, hand sanitiser stations everywhere, friendly staff. Well done.
E. M.
A very nice hotel very clean and food was fantastic staff was very nice a well run hotel I would visit again
M. B.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here and would recommend the hotel to others.
C. K.
Hi - we stayed for 2 nights in July and we found the experience to be fine but the room was not clean enough when we arrived and we had to request it to be cleaned when we arrived. The kids moved the bed and there was food and debris down the side of the bed. I appreciate it is difficult to clean the rooms completely thoroughly in the time allocated to the housekeeping staff including under the beds but in current times, surely additional time should be allocated.
By way of feedback, the bins in a hotel are extremely small and i recommend having additional bins or bin bags available particularly when guests are opting not to have their rooms freshened up during their stay.
We had to request additional towels as we only had towels for 2 people even though we had 4 people on our booking. Simple fixes
The staff were extremely accommodating and kind to us and we felt any concerns were dealt with swiftly and adequately.
p. b.
Lovely hotel staff were excellent and food was excellent would recommend it for a holiday plenty of places to visit outside of the city
D. N.
Very comfortable room, food in hotel is lovely
M. C.
Great place to stay. On the outskirts of the city in a perfect location.
g. k.
Myself and a friend stayed over recently, can't speak highly enough of the service. This place really went all out on social distancing. We had a great night sleep, the room temperature and lightning were perfect. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, nobody bothered us. Couldn't recommend highly enough and really affordable!
M. M. F.
Really friendly and helpful staff, service was fast and the food was excellent..
B. P.
Very nice, clean rooms lovely staff and really nice food
C. M.

L. H.
Amazing and friendly service! Everyone went above and beyond, Lucas made me feel welcomed in a foreign country and would definitely come back! Thank you everyone!
E. n.
We enjoyed our stay but with small kids it was a long 20 minute walk into the city. We had a lovely full irish breakfast yesterday morning. Our breakfast this morning looked only half cooked. Rooms lovely and clean staff very friendly.
A. M.
Great hotel. Good and clean room.
f. v.

Very clean, nice staff, 20 minute walk to the centre of Galway.

I stayed in the Maldron Hotel on Sandy Road for a weekend recently and I have to say that it was fabulous. The room was lovely and had everything that we needed. The bed was so comfortable so had a great night sleep and the room was spotless and at the perfect temperature.
We had the most delicious breakfast there both mornings which was first class. There was a huge selection of food to choose from. The food from the buffet was hot and constantly been topped up. There was a good selection of herbal teas which I was delighted with a got a big pot which was great.
We also took advantage of the bar for one on the way home!
The staff were extremely helpful throughout. I will definitely recommend staying there and will certainly choose a Maldron Hotel In other places to stay.
E. 8.
Outside isn’t great but rooms are good and inside of the hotel is nice .
P. W.
The Maldron Hotel is a lovely modern hotel which is very well kept. From the moment you are greeted by the reception staff you know that you have arrived at a friendly welcoming hotel. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and, given the trying times with all the restrictions et cetera, every effort is made to facilitate guests. The breakfast selection is perfect and by that I mean there is enough choice without being overkill. The full Irish breakfast is second to none. If there was a criticism it would be about the evening meal which I found a little unimaginative. However one must allow for the times and accept these things. The food was tasty and served impeccably. Like many establishments in the hospitality arena it was hard to generate an atmosphere. This is no reflection on the staff who tried their best under difficult circumstances. Would I return? I most certainly would.
J. O.
Clean and comfortable hotel. Enjoyed my stay here.
C. E.
Lovely hotel excellent service lovely staff very helpful 😊
D. B.
Lovely hotel. Handy for getting into the city and for onward journeys as it's close to the motorway
D. M.
Great hotel in Galway, Ireland. Staff was very friendly. Room was very nice and clean. Breakfast buffet was nothing to complain about but nothing to brag about either. Location was decent but for a similar price you can find something right in Galway City Centre. Maybe would stay somewhere closer next visit since prices were similar. Besides that if you don't mind a 20 minute walk to the City Centre great hotel.
M. D.
Nice hotel lovely staff couldn't do enough for our group
C. J.
Although we only stayed one night during Covid 19, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel and room was of a high quality and service was excellent. Location of the hotel is excellent walking distance to the city if needed. We will return and would recommend as we are a family of 5 and not easy to get large family rooms to this standard 👏
A. C.
We paid €20 per night extra to stay in the New extension with bigger rooms and walk in showers. Not sure the extra was worth it for a quick stay. The hotel obviously expects guests to stay for only a short visit as there was no where to put your clothes, so we had to leave everything in the suitcases on the floor. Perhaps they intend on fitting extra furniture as the seasons progress. On a plus side the catering was excellent and the staff friendly. Located about 20 minutes from the city centre, so leave the car in the free underground parking and enjoy a leisurely stroll passing the out of town shopping centres. We would definitely visit again.
A. M.
Cant say enough about this hotel ,the staff leave nothing to the imagination, the food is excellent the hotel is spotless, and everything for our 21st was magic ,I will be back
M. A.
From check in to checking out service is 1st class.. I've stayed here on numerous occasions, with husband and other family members and have always had great service, clean rooms and tasty food, staff are all attentive and nothing is ever a bother to them. I hear Alan Larkin is leaving shortly he will be missed a very valuable member of the team..., he always made a 5* stay exceptional.
I was delighted to see all extra health and safety measures in place as I was slightly apprehensive of my necessary journey in theses times.
C. R.
Four nights in Galway, very good hotel, staff cant do enough for you. Highly recommend.
C. W.
My husband and I spent six nights at this hotel and had a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful - and I want to especially thank Dylan for helping my husband Eddie when he tripped getting out of a taxi and fell hard on the pavement. Dylan helped him up and sought us out at breakfast the next two mornings to ask how Eddie was. The room was comfortable, beds were very good, bathroom was great and the food was very nice. We had one lunch and one dinner as well as breakfast. The location is a 20 min walk in to Galway.
D. K.
Nice hotel, pool and food, excellent staff,
Highly recommend it
F. B.
Amazing stay. Got a free upgrade for my boyfriends birthday, birthday plate in the room also was lovely. Staff really friendly. The next morning I enquired about how much it would be for a late checkout and they gave it to us free of charge. Really appreciate everything the staff did for us last weekend thanks so much!
L. M.
Dinner and drinks 🍸😋
Excellent
Next time in Galway I will stay here
P. M.
1- very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff- we were allowed to park outside the hotel in the loading bay as we had a roof box on the car so couldn't park in the free underground car park. we also had bicycles which the staff stored in a locked store for us.
2- Suitable anti Covid19 measures put in place - plenty of hand sanitisers around the hotel and in lifts. All staff wore face visors.
3 the hotel was very clean
4 beds very comfortable
5 very close to city centre (8 min cycle)
Potential improvements: ( these are only minor gripes and did not seriously diminish the quality of our stay at this hotel. )
the breakfast food. (pancakes underdone one morning, pancake syrup not available every morning and the tea and coffee weren't the hottest )
some channels on the TV were pixelated and unwatchable.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would also stay here again.
P. L.
We stayed in room 244 and found it to be very clean, spacious and comfortable. The air temperature controls were easy to use and very effective. We stayed 2 nights and ate in their restaurant both nights. The food was delicious with a good variety of options. All staff members were very courteous. We would stay here again. It was a very pleasant stay. Loved the free underground parking.
F. H.
The first impressions were of modern hotel with a young staff. The rooms were spacious and somewhat generic. We had a meal the first night of our stay which was disappointing and particularly so when compared with a meal we had in a pub the next day. Which was not only far superior but cheaper even with drinks. The staff were eager to help, but would walk over dropped napkins time after time, they would smile readily and easily and accept an instruction and just as quickly forget that instruction.
P. S.
It was a perfect location the food was lovely and overall a lovely place to go to!
H. M.
This is a beautiful hotel. The staff were super friendly and gave us some great recommendations for a good night out kn Galway. Lovely, comfortable beds and the room was very spacious. Nightly reccomend it. Not too far from the city so location is great!
B. N.
Had the Easter Brunch special. Some of the best food I have eaten since the lockdown. The service was beyond excellent. Looking forward to eating in the restaurant when lockdown is lifted.
G. P.
Great stay for two nights. Got the junior suite with tons of space and great Covid-19 protection measures.
Staff was top class and the hotel is perfectly located just beside a gas station and a shopping mall with a Dunnes stores 3 minutes away walking distance.
p. p.
Had a great breakaway with my partner and family in Galway at the maldron fab food staff very nice and a fab holiday in total
M. N.
Excellent service from friendly staff. Room spotless and very comfortable. Right beside huge shopping centre's, bus station outside hotel leaves you at Eyre square in 7 mins. My 5 year old loved the kid's club 5.00pm -10.00pm hosted by the lovely Katie. Thank you for making our stay relaxing.
M. G.
Very nice hotel and excellent service
L. M.
This hotel is fabulous. Its very clean and friendly. Staff and food were lovely. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The only downside I found to this hotel was it is a good distance from town. There was no music or entertainment in the bar at night.
L. C.
Stay here every year for my birthday. Absolutely love it. Rooms are great and the food is amazing. Staff are always friendly. Highly recommend. Can't wait to come back agakn next year :D 5 years in a row now :)
J. G.
No 1 The online check in wasn't working ,feedback from front desk was its new and we are having some issues with it
No 2 We gave feedback on poor quality chips served in the restaurant ( chips 20% overcooked and served in a cereal bowl). however the staff handled the complaint very well
Overall stay good
R. E.
Front desk service was good, room and bathroom was nice. Restaurant service was slow, my wife and I had to go to the bar and ask for our bill so we could pay and leave. We were there 2 nights. After showering the first morning, we left the towels on the floor in order to receive replacements that day. We left the damp hand towel next to the sink to get it replaced. When we came back in the evening, all the towels were where we left them in the morning. Our partly used body wash and shampoo bottles were gone, but no replacements were provided.
E. D.
With restrictions our stay wasnt worth it. Upon arrival both dinner and breakfast was totally booked out, making reservations for eating should be made very clear on booking websites. As should all the covid rules. Thankfully the restaurant manager squeezed us in last minute in the bar. The staff all appeared to be under pressure and a little stressed.
K. T.
Nice hotel in a fairly good location. Room was fine though be aware that during Covid-19 it will not be serviced daily, which wasn't a problem for us. About 20 minute walk to town and the on site parking was handy.
T.
Been there for coffee and food and meetings in the bar. Bought a voucher from reception too. So even though I didn't sleep there, the other half of the experience I got to witness. Was a chilled atmosphere with a surprisingly large bar/restaurant area. Staff are friendly and attentive with reception being quite engaging. Service was quick enough at all times and food was quite delicious. Would definitely recommend for short stays or business related stays. Very close to all amenities and has 24 hour petrol station attached. Spa is supposed to be really good too.
D. B.
We had a very pleasant 5 day stay. The staff were courteous and helpful in all situations. The breakfast laid out was generous, and the restaurant dining was of a high standard. The room was comfortable and spacious. The Hotel itself was not too far out of town- well within walking distance, and was close to a shopping centre with various amenities . During our stay there was some refurbishment work being undertaken, but this was kept to a minimum and did not impact on our stay.

The hotel was undergoing new carpet laying so there was a bit of chaos at times, for instance access to the lifts and stairs. The biggest complaint would be that we returned to our room at 4.30pm only to find it had not been cleaned. The hall outside was full of trollies containing both clean and soiled towels, sheets etc. When the lady arrived to service our room she only provided new towels. The bed was not made, bathroom not cleaned and the carpet not cleaned. The next morning the hotel was very busy and impossible to find a clean table for breakfast. The same problem in the evening. The tables were not cleared from the evening dining. As this space was also used for the bar it was not a pleasant place to relax. We felt they needed double the staff they actually had. The staff that were there were fantastic but under pressure.

This is the second time I visited this hotel. I was here the same time last year when the hotel was under a different name. the name has changed but service has not. Top class. There were three girls on reception who were only delighted to help. One was busy with another customer but still acknowledged us. Another done paperwork and the other inquired about our plans for our stay and gave advice on what there was to do. 10 out of 10 for all aspects of staff. We visited the spa and once again polite and friendly staff made it a very relaxing affair. The room itself was spotless and a very comfortable sleep. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of tasty options. Couldn't find a flaw with our stay if we tried. The only reason we chose galway as our destination for us our break was the service we got here last year and after this year's trip 2017 is already decided.

Had nothing but good things to say about the hotel. The restaurant was great. But it was the staff that made the trip so accommodating and enjoyable. From help to finding a way to the cliffs of moher, to helping us with our outlet to converter to a list of pubs Susan was incredibly helpful and made our trip more enjoyable.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights & thought it was very nice. After reading some reviews I was a little wary, but from the food to the spacious bedroom, I couldn’t fault it. Ideally situated - about 20 minutes walk into Galway. The staff were also helpful. The underground car park is ideal. Well done Maldron!
C. C.
Family break away here was lovely. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast on the first day (Fri ) was bit disappointing. It was as though the food was made early morning and kept warm. We had to give order for hot breakfast. Breakfast on Saturday was 100% better. It was self service and fresh. Yummy. Great location for a shopping break and good for staying with children.
G. B.
Hotel it very conveniently located for both accessing from outside Galway and for accessing Galway city centre.
Staff were courteous and friendly, the room was perfectly sized and very clean and tidy. Noise was fine where our room was which was number 132.
Breakfast the next morning had great variety and all fresh produce. And as it was a buffet it was worth every cent.
The meeting rooms were again well sized, and the catering was excellent. Presentation facilities were great and if we had a problem staff were on had immediately.
All and all a very good experience and I'd definitely go back for both business and leisure.
V. K.
Had a fantastic time room were fantastic food the same staff were very friendly everything was very nice. I would stay there again so near to everything shops town love it I would stay there again I would give them 5 stars. 💯👏⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice hotel within walking distance to Eyre Square. Lovely room with large bed. Nice breakfast. Hotel clean and comfortable. Bar understaffed and tables not attended to left with dirty classes and dishes. Had to clean our own table when having a drink.
A. E.
Great hotel, the beds are really compfy and the breakfast is fantastic and topped up often. The waiting staff are very attentive in keeping tea and coffee cups filled. The only downside is that the hotel is a decent walk from the town centre, but if you are planning trips away from Galway or don't mind walking then it is perfect.
C. B.
I was only there one night but it was a very good experience. Parking was free and there was plenty of it. The room was clean & comfortable. Audrey on reception was exceptionally nice and helpful - was able to change our room to the same floor as other family members without a problem. I'd go there again.
K. M.
From the moment we arrived albeit too early for check in we were made feel welcome.
Short 15 walk to city Centre. Hotel is clean and room was well serviced and more than adequate.
Construction work was going on but was not an issue in our case. The heating system was a bit noisy so really did not use it.
Breakfast was ample and well presented and certainly set us up for the day.
Late checkout was also a bonus though there was an issue with key cards not working after 12 pm.
Got replacement but not given a reason - do they automatically cut at a certain time to make sure you can’t return?
Car park was handy and great that it was free.
Plan to return to Galway and certainly will consider the hotel again.
Many thanks.
T. B.
The room was comfortable and the location is walking distance to the shipping district in Galway. The service was very friendly. The hotel was under some renovations while we were there so the restaurant was temporarily moved into one of the meeting rooms, but the service was great and the food was tasty. We enjoyed our stay.
L. F.
The rooms are nice along with the bathroom. If you are an American, bring your own wash cloth. Ireland does not believe in them.
As for the service, Eoin who works in the restaurant within the hotel provided surprisingly great service. The restaurant was over ran with tour groups (bad timing due to tour directors not hotel). He above and beyond for us.
B. m.
A great three days at the Maldron Hotel Galway. The food was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. We are following the Wild Atlantic Way and we will be looking for another Maldron Hotel for our next leg of the journey
C. M.
We really enjoyed our stay. Couldn't fault or complain about anything. Room was spotless and very comfortable, and had everything we required. All the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. We would highly recommend this hotel, and we will be back.
K. K.
Nice spacious room. Relatively clean although the sheets didn't smell quite fresh.
The floor we were on(2nd) had stairs if you wanted to go from one end of the hall to the other. This complicated things for us as we had a buggy but fortunately there was another elevator we could use.
Very helpful and polite staff.
The breakfast was average. I'd expect better quality from 4 star hotel at that price point. There was a pepper container on our last day there that absolutely reeked after I used it all over my breakfast.. After opening it to see its contents, it looked like pepper with mold or something similar. Something that they need to look after, refreshing all those salt/pepper containers more often I'd say.
The location of the hotel is pretty good I'd say. You are still a good ~2km from the center but if you want to drive it's a really short drive. Next to it there's also a SPAR and a Dunnes for any supplies you may need.
O. a.
Lovely and spacious family room. Very clean. Plenty of channels on the tv, especially kiddies ones which was a life saver in the evenings.
Lovely breakfast in the morning.
Minuses: no separate bar area. Difficult to get a table in the evening, so we opted eating out instead. Dining area seems to be always reserved for tourist buses which is unfair for the guests that r staying in the hotel. No leisure centre either.
J. M.
Top class arrangements to cope and counter with the present virus problems. Accommodation was excellent and well thought out.
Food and restaurant excellent.
Free parking superb.
Very convenient for access from N6 and to the city

The room was lovely, the bed incredibly comfortable and we had a wonderful couple of nights sleep. We took full advantage of there being a fridge in the room, which is definitely something you don't see that often anymore, but was greatly appreciated. The reception staff were exceptionally lovely here, going out of their way to help me set up wifi etc. And I LOVED the button in reception to call a taxi- it was very useful! The vending machines, although we didn't use them on this occasion, were stocked very well with a good variety of things inside, including dental care and shaving equipment!
Literally my only two complaints were:
1) One of our towels had some small spots of dried blood on it from a previous use. In fairness, I said this to the man who came to offer room cleaning on the first morning and he promptly replaced it and was very apologetic. We did check the bedsheets etc after seeing this but thankfully they were spotless!
2) the tap in our room was leaking very badly out across the counter top We had to use toilet paper to stop it falling onto the floor or reaching our belongings. I mentioned this to the same man, who then offered to get maintenance for us, but I think we all got distracted by the bloody towel so maybe he forgot, but we didn't hear from anyone again in relation to this. It wasn't a huge issue so I didn't mention it again until we were checking out.
Overall these were relatively minor things and it wouldn't affect my returning to this hotel, which I would intend to in the future. I would certainly recommend it to others- although, if I'm honest, I'll probably be checking the towels & linens straight away, just in case!
N. W.
from we arrived to we left we honestly could not say anything negative about the hotel or staff. hotel was clean and bright throughout our room was well appointed and very well furnished and clean. breakfast was excellent with such a wide variety of food. all the staff were very pleasant and courteous. we were on an all inclusive deal {bed ,breakfast, and evening meal} the choice and variety of food each evening was excellent. if staying in galway in the future this is where we would stay if dates suited. ten out of ten for staff, food ,and accommodation.
J. K.
Lovely place great staff evening meal was awful
J. E.
Lovely room, very good food and helpful staff. Close to city centre.
P. M.
Good deal: nice busines hotel with sensible rates, large rooms and a good breakfast selection. Our room was freshly renovated and there were more renovations going on. The standard was better than more expensive hotels we stayed in: new bathroom, a regular hair dryer, clean carpets, large room and a regular sized, comfortable bed.
The hotel is located next to a major road going into Galway, and with the free parking ideal for travellers on an trip with their own car. It is not loud though and the hotel is within walking distance to Galway city center. So all in all a great deal.

We had an overnight stay at The Maldron Hotel on a Sunday night and enjoyed the experience. It is a very nice hotel and the rooms are very spacious, modern and comfortable. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable too. The rooms are fairly soundproof except that our room (331) had a minor fault with the window handle which prevented it from closing completely so we did get a lot of traffic noise but we did report the fault so hopefully no one else should have that problem. We had a pizza in the bar that evening which was one of the best I have had in a long time. The staff were all really friendly and efficient too. Breakfast was amazing, such variety and good quality. All in all it was great and we will visit again.
H. E.
An excellent hotel. Very clean and great food. The staff are friendly and so helpful. I found the underground car park an added bonus especially after a day of shopping. You can access the lifts and be in your room in minutes with your purchases. No need to stop in reception area first. It's ideally situated as Galway shopping center is within walking distance approx 5mins away and you can be in Eyre square in 20min walking.
i.
The Maldron hotel, sandy Road galway, was such a fantastic place to stay.. Super clean place the room was exceptionally clean..the evening meal in hotel was excellent.. The staff were lovely.. 5mins walk up into town..
We certainly will be back to the Maldron hotel sandy road galway next year.. Loved it so much.. Thank you..
E. M.
Definitely recommend this place to everyone! The rooms were spotless. The bed was super comfortable and the bath was relaxing. From the moment we came in the staff were very welcoming and always smiling. I would return back to this hotel after the excellence service provided from my visit!!! Thank you again to the lovely staff
S. R.
Great hotel just outside town centre with parking. Rooms and food were spot on.
D.
Lovely food. Nice plaice for relaxing. 👍
V. M.
Attended a seminar there recently and they could not have done more for us.. Patrick you are a gentleman.
L. G.
Stayed here for two nights with a party of five others. Rooms nice but not spectacular. Ate in the restaurant the first evening. Had leek and potato soup, followed by carbonara. Both very disappointing, very peppery and soup totally the wrong colour for the ingredients. Service very slow and disorganized though staff friendly. An example was that they would eventually clear half the table and not come back for the rest, as if they needed training. Good choice at breakfast. Not sure if I'd stay here again but only because Galway is full of other hotels to choose from.
D. R.
Everything about this hotel was top class from location to service. Food was lovely and breakfast service was excellent.my family really enjoyed their stay here and will be booking this hotel the next time we stay in galway
L. S.
Stayed for the Galway Races. Lovely hotel close enough to the City to be able to walk to Eyre Square in about 15 to 20 mins. Staff were very nice polite and very helpful. Had dinner there on two nights both were delicious. Will be definitely staying there again. 😊😊😊
M. M.
Lovely rooms and fantastic staff. Got upgraded to a junior suite at no extra cost. Had to change rooms on the second day but staff were very accomodating.
Only complaint was the breakfast. I went at 10.20 and there was no fruit left and only one type of bread. The cooked food was sparing also and the breakfast was on until 11. I may have come at a bad time but they should have been topping up throughout.
Would definitely come back and stay again
A. D.
Great Hotel! Had the high Maldron standards!
A convenience store is attached to this hotel. Would stay here again!
F. F.
Great welcome by the lovely Fiona on front desk. I was given a gorgeous big room. Great sized bathroom with plenty of shelf space .
Bed was so comfy and pillows , felt like feather. ( I forgot to check) but were lovely.
Room service was slightly delayed, sure to incorrect ingredients being used, I'm allergic to eggs. But was promptly sorted out. And that too me is a sign of a week run establishment.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again.
S. M.
Great location to stay very central and close to the city centre. Lovely staff and breakfast
D. J.
An nice hotel with good facilities. Location was great with only a 10 minute walk to city centre. Room was good but air conditioning in the room was very poor, it didn't work correctly and room was too hot. Food was ok! Cold breakfast buffet was good, plenty of choice. The quality of the food in the hot breakfast buffet was poor. All of it was very dry tasting. Bar good was only fair, desserts were very rubbery in texture and tasteless. Staff were very helpful and nice. All in all I would recommend the hotel as a base but not for the food.
I. L.
The hotel itself is nice and modern. It is located close to shopping centers and not so far from city center. All amenities are good. The amount of sockets is quite enough for every device to charge. Breakfasts is exceptionally excellent. Just a little bit of advise for the administration: the conditioner is slightly noisy, and there is not enough light in the bathroom.
s. t.
What a beautiful hotel. The staff in the bar, at breakfast in the leisure centre, at reception. and the ladies and gents at housekeeping, keep up the good work.we had a fabulous 4 day break away in July. 2adults and 2 children. Can't wait to go back 😎
G. H.
Our room was tidy, but was dusty/dirty and felt as though it needed a proper clean. The room was also shabby in places and in need of renovation/maintenance. Carpets in the corridors looked and felt dirty as though they'd not been cleaned or replaced in a long time. The breakfast wasn't great either. I wouldn't stay here again.
R. O.
Amazing hotel from start to finish we were greeted by Thomas at the front desk who was so helpful and nice excellent as his job. Then at dinner our waitress Courtney was amazing so helpful, kind everything you want from the dinner service all of the staff were outstanding.. the room was beautiful and clean.. We enjoyed ourselves so much that if were ever in Galway again we will definitely stay at the Maldron. Thank you for having us and treating us so great! 10/10 experience
B. O. D.
I enjoyed my stay. Hotel was warm and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Lovely breakfast and evening meal. Night barman was lovely and chatty.
C. M.
Great staff at the bar. Ordered our drinks. All happy and smiles. Going to try the food. Special 2 and 3 course menu at 4:45pm Waiting on dinner and dessert came out 1st. Dinners are lovely 😊next is the dessert 🍨Apple crumble with very nice ice cream. Had to get mind heated up. Gorgeous only a very small bit of ice Cream. Could have done with proper scoop. But the food it very nice 👍
H. R. D.
Beautiful hotel. Staff amazing especially on reception could not do enough for us. Rooms lovely. Bed comfy. Breakfast outstanding great choice
J. O. n. W.
The hotel itself was nice enough. We could only see a small portion, as most of the first level is under construction as of this review. It's clean, modern, and fairly stylish.
Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, and since check in is at 3 and we arrived at 11, that's fair, but nothing at all was available? No early check outs had been turned? Normally not a huge deal, but we had a wedding to change for.
The entry and exit is a bit ridiculous. You have to use your room key to go through an access door BOTH WAYS to the room area. This is really cumbersome.
The night staff were lovely. The day staff a bit less so.
B. M.
Rooms were comfortable and very clean.
The provision of complimentary tea/ coffee making facilities; ironing board; and safe shows consideration for the customer and was much appreciated.
I loved the fact gratis parking in a secure area was also available as parking spaces are at a premium in Galway city.
The staff were very personable and pleasant without being familiar which is a sign of excellent training.
We ordered room service and had breakfast in the bistro which was of a high standard. Presentation of food is well done and including allergen information regarding the ingredients is again putting the customer first.
Thank you for an all too short but happy experience at your hotel.
C. H.
Nice hotel - great location- just 15 mins from city centre- nice food
S. M.
While the staff in general at the hotel are very professional, friendly & helpful, the receptionist when we arrived was dreadful. She barely interacted with us at all, never smiled or looked in any way interested in welcoming us. This is a shame as of course it was our first impression of the hotel. The guest room and bathroom were both clean and well appointed and beds were comfortable. We sat in the bar one of the evenings and noticed a lot of grubby and dusty surfaces. The mirrored paneling behind the bar was filthy and the light fittings, shelves and even the coffee machine looked like they needed a good clean. On the plus side, room was great, WiFi and parking was good and breakfast was fine. We enjoyed our two night stay and would stay again.
C. C.
Very happy. Room was grand and bed was very big and very comfy. Had a meal in the bar which was delicious too. Nice and central to driving around Connemara and Galway county. Excellent value for money. Got four nights and breakfast for two at a very very reasonable rate.
C. D.
Our stay was just 1 night, our room was King-maybe because it was mid-week! Massive bed, no view(which was fine) room very comfortable. Ensuite lovely and shower was pretty awesome! Cian who was our receptionist was very pleasant and helpful, as were other staff.and breakfast(self service) was good. Only downside was air-conditioning in bar was really cool. All in all a really good stay and will definitely will be back again.
K. G.
I stayed at the Maldron hotel with my family on a family holiday. This hotel was located close to the train station and to the centre city of Galway. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. Carol who was working at the front desk when I arrived and was a huge help in getting all of my plans for the day organized with my cab driver and how to get to the city. I ate dinner at the hotel both evenings for my stay and the selection was a nice variety and the all the food was delicious. The wait staff was helpful, friendly, and answered all questions. The only issue I had was a minor issue with the shower because I could not get the shower temperature comfortable. I was either too hot or too cold water however I was the only room in the party that had this issue.
T. P.
Clean hotel, free parking, good breakfast buffet, and friendly staff. We had an adjoining room which was a bit noisy from the room next door. The weather had been warmer than normal and the air condition was nice.
L. T.
The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable and I loved the bathtub. The front desk personnel were helpful and friendly. The restaurant and bar service lacked professionalism. The first morning breakfast, I was told that my breakfast was not included. I had to go upstairs and get proof the breakfast was included. No one ask us about coffee, my husband had to track someone down in the restaurant to get coffee service. The bar service was much the same, lacking in professionalism. The last morning we were there, we had the pleasure of being greeted at the restaurant by Sean. The first question ask, "what can we get you to drink" and the drinks were then immediately brought. Sean ask us about our visit and generally made us feel welcome. Sean's score alone was a 3, which brought restaurant service to a 1.5 average. The hotel room and front desk service is at 5, which gives an overall score of 3.
K. S.
We been a bit disipointed with stay at this hotel. A week before we been
at the Cork Maldron Hotel and we been very surprised. The room was very
modern with a view of the city center. The room had a coffee maker and
still water bottles. So we expected the same from the Galway Maldron
Hotel, but unfortunately. I heard part of the room was renovated last
year. But we got a really poor room at this hotel and cost a lot more
than Cork, maybe we got such a room because we used previous hotel
discounts not full price. So I can only give 3/5 stars to a room. But
the staff and breakfast was very good and I can give 5/5 stars.
M. O.
Absolutely fantastic place to stay, hope to return nxt yr. Spacious double room,2 beds.& spacious bathroom. Staff excellent &helpful. We had breakfast once& very happy with choice and standard. As a party of 2 couples we all said there was a lovely atmosphere in hotel which seemed to hav all ages staying. Impressed by free underground carpark which had restrooms and lift choice to reception or to your floor. Very pleased with Wi-Fi connection & speed of it.Nothin to complain about will def be back nxt yr
A. M.
Lovely hotel great food. Great bar. Staff where very welcoming. Room was spotless clean. I would recommend this hotel highly
D. Y.
Now this place really surprised. Great parking. Fantastic reception. Well versed staff who were friendly efficient and full of knowledge. The room what a room and an upgrade just brilliant. Restaurant clean spacious and inexpensive. Brilliant.v
L. H.
Accommodation very nice but the bar was very expensive.
N. C.
Beautiful hotel! The rooms were spaceous and comfortable. The Continental Breakfast was wonderful; cheese, bacon, salami, fresh fruit, fresh baked breads. At least try the haggis, it's better than you are imagining.
M. D.
Room was great and check in went fine but the restaurant had the worst customer service. They were a little busy but I had to wait 20+ minutes and had to grab the attention of a random waiter to get water on the table, another half hour for food and then I got pretty upset when I was unable to get my check so I could leave, my waiter was nowhere in sight. So again I had to go walk around and find another waiter who eventually brought my check. Food itself was fine and the self serve breakfast buffet had a great variety so that was a plus.
J. C.
I really enjoyed my week-long stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff and just inside walking distance to Galway (if you don't mind a 15 minute walk). The rooms were perfunctory and the food they served for breakfast was great! I would recommend! 5-stars!
D. M.
Nice and affordable hotel within walking distance to city center. They are doing renovations, which is not mentioned on their website, even though they claim that there is a notice posted online, so things can get loud very early in the morning, and disrupt your sleeping. Something was wrong with the hot water three days in a row, but upon checking out, I was offered a discount off of my total bill, which I appreciated. Entire staff is wonderful, and the food is especially good! I'm a Chef, so take my word on the quality and taste of the food! Tom in the bar, is wonderful and has a great personality! Make sure you say hello to him, should you run into him! Will certainly stay at again in the future, and can't wait to see the renovations when they are completed!
D. N.
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. We stayed for 2 nights 14-16 Jan 18. Reception staff very welcoming & very helpful. Rooms very clean & very comfortable bed. 15 minute walk to city. Great place to visit. Plan on a return visit to this hotel.
G. K.
Booked a last minute deal at great price. Lovely room...very clean. Had meal in the bar. Very tasty and nice atmosphere. Great quality breakfast with good service. Will return.
T. S.
Very well ran under present government restrictions, good food and very pleasant staff
a. w.
Really wonderful and happy service here. Made the entire weekend stay adorable and lovely and we really appreciated the warm welcome greetings from the staff!
The only thing is the rooms don't have a view but honestly the bathrooms so lovely and the rooms are beautiful!
G. K.
While I would not consider the Maldron Sandy Road 4 star in some aspects like the bar area , I found the hotel excellent and it is only a 15 minute walk into the centre of Galway city itself. Everything from the evening dinner in the bar, to the room itself to the breakfast (delicious and I eat far too much!) was excellent. The staff were also professional in their approach. Free overnight parking is another advantage of staying here. The only maybe point to be picky in was the bar area was not very comfortable and a bit small. Other then that no complaints whatsoever and at the price I was given this was definitely a bargain.
I. H.
Staff are brilliant, young and helpful. Able to sort everything in their stride. Really clean
f. m. a.
Friendly, capable, efficient staff. The experience gave a real sense of Galway. Nothing was too much trouble. This is a people friendly hotel and it enhances one's experience of Galway and the West of Ireland. I could move in and stay for years. Yes, it's that good.
g. f.
We had a wonderful stay at the Maldron hotel Sandy Road Galway. We found the staff to be very courteous and helpful as it was our first break away with our new baby. We were provided with a cot and upgraded to a kingsize room.
The food in the olive tree bistro was of a high standard and the service was excellent.
The hotel is also in a good location , close to the city and easy access from all routes.
Overall we were very impressed and will definetly return.
P. B.
We enjoyed our stay at the Maldron. Bed and pillows very comfortable the room was very clean, the staff were all very friendly especially the night bar man I think his name was Liam he was on Friday night when we got back to the hotel. His customer service was second to none. I would recommend the Maldron as a great hotel to stay in Galway.
A.
I stayed three nights. Nice, spacious room and also a large bathtub. Unfortunately, there was work going on outside so there was a lot of noise in the morning, it was impossible to have a lie in. Also, I was a bit disappointed that even though I had paid at checkout they asked me to pay again and when I showed my receipts they went to verify it and were acting like as if I had not paid. There should be a system where it shows clearly on the computer that the customer has paid. Otherwise, no problems and I would use Maldron again.
S. C.
Very pleasant find, usually stay in other locations when in Galway but tried Maldron as a change. Good and free car-parking space in basement of hotel which for me is a big bonus in Galway. Close walking distance from Galway centre, 15 to 20 minutes, or just Euro 8 by taxi, used when it was bucketing it down one evening :) .
The room was very spacious and comfortable ( My wife would like to know the name/make of the mattress - very comfortable)
a. j.
This stay was excellent as myself and my nephew had a great 2 night stay, the room was lovely and cosy! Also the staff were just lovely! Tara and Mado were lovely very friendly and welcoming! I certainly will be back..
N. P.
It was a good hotel to stay and it is close to city center. I stayed for 2 days. There is pub downstairs and many more pubs in the city, which is 1.5KM far from the hotel. Our sheets, towels, and surfaces of a desk, counter and bathroom were all regularly cleaned during our stay. was good experience:-)
J. C.
Friendly reception and helpful staff, didn't eat or drink at the hotel so can't comment on that. The rooms were tidy and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and very appropriate.
A. T.
This was my second stay in the Maldron Hotel Sandy Road Galway. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly. Good variety on the breakfast buffet. The bacon and sausage wasn't as good this time, I think it was kept hot too long perhaps as it was all stuck together and broken by the serving tongs so not very appetising.
The complimentry parking is a real plus and very handy. So I will stay there again. All in all a good experience.
J. B.
Loved it here, would have booked another night if I didnt have to go back to work. The staff were lovely, so accomodating. The walk to Galway city takes less than 15minutes. Even though it isnt the most central hotel, the brilliant service would take me back.
L. M.
The location in the City Center is ideal to do some sightseeing. The breakfast was very good, enough choices. We even had diner several times in the hotel, which was more than excellent. The free parking is absolutely a plus. Since my daughter is studying at NUI Galway (Erasmus), we will be coming back the next month
F. G.
excellent stay , food excellent , keeping to regulations , staff couldnt be more than helpfull , and kind , room was lovely ,
j. h.
Beautiful food in restaurant, rooms spacious and very comfortable.
C. J.
Couple of relaxing days away with my hubby for his birthday, but no relaxing lie in for us. Building work going on in the hotel which we didn't know about before hand!! And to make things worse it was right outside our bedroom window!! Oh well it's done now, few more issues but I'm not gonna mention that. Lovely meal in the restaurant, very tasty and great value for money 💷
P. F.
Me and my friend chose the sapphire package. We had an amazing time, room was fab. Spotless and comfortable. Spa treatments were fab as was the thermal suite. Short distance into the fabulous Galway city. Cocktails and food were also wonderful.
M. F.
Very nice,food lovely,friendly staff!
L. L.
Had never been to Galway before, we were delighted we chose to stay at the maldron hotel. The room was lovely and very clean, the whole hotel is spotless. The food in the hotel was very nice and very affordable. I feel that the hotel staff went beyond their role, asking us how our stay was going and recommending where to go out at night. Despite being a bit away from eyre square there was always taxis available outside the hotel or else a minute away at the click of a button on the reception desk. Free parking at the hotel is always a plus also. Really enjoyed our stay :)
N. H.
Room and bathroom very clean. 15 min walk into town. Located on a very busy junction and main road into town so our room was fairly noisy all night and bin lorries seemed to pull in to the garage at 4.45am each morning, not great if you're a light sleeper. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The gym room was very hot & stuffy not great for doing a workout.

My stay at the hotel was great. Maybe the TV- could offer some more channels and one channel had an interference but it was ok. I didn´t have time to watch much TV anyway. I think also, the spa was not accessible for wheelchair users. I never planned to use it but it might be a good idea to look into that. Otherwise food was great, rooms were great and to a reasonable price, service was great, friendly reception and not too far from the city. So thanks for a great time. Would love to come back.

Arrived to find free underground car park with plenty spaces and well signed to Reception area. Lifts from car park to reception. Checked in speedily and with friendly faces from reception staff. The wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find we had a double bed each in our de-luxe room. Cleaners were unobtrusive and the room was left spotless each day. We ran out of some tea-making facilities and a quick phone call to reception had everything topped up almost immediately. We were also glad to find a safe built in to the wardrobe as we didn't want to carry all our passports/cash etc together each time we went out. We were there on a B&B package and the buffet style breakfast catered for all dietary needs, nothing was missing from the breakfast menu.
All in all, a very pleasant experience and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family and hopefully we will return in the not too distant future. Thank you Maldron, Sandy Road, Galway!

Nice hotel. Only complaint was I was told on the phone that all rooms had fridges. We were given a room on the ground floor with no fridge and was told I didn't request one. Why would I request one when it I was told all rooms had one ????? We requested a move upstairs as there was noise from drilling and got a room with fridge and no drilling. Everyone happy☺

This is a very regular hotel. Strickly middle of the road quality. That's OK though because it's a good relatively inexpensive place to stay. It's not real close to downtown but the great thing about this place is the Spar market built into it. I am always up early but the town doesn't start waking up till much later (it's a European thing). That's why I am delighted with a 24/7 store I can walk to. The machines even make decent cappachino.

Fantastic family friendly hotel. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at the maldron hotel galway and we had two beautiful meals and drinks the staff were very friendly and the room was lovelly and the bed was comfortable we will stay again this is our first stay at any maldron hotel and we enjoyed it
T. F.
Stayed there with a bunch of lads on a stag night back in November for 2 nights. Must say the staff were excellent, rooms were perfect and we could not of picking a better hotel. We ended up meeting a hen party on the Saturday night, they were staying there too. Some craic!! Just make sure you have a card for the late bar as it stopped taking cash after 12.
C. M.
Having stayed in The Pillo Hotel, 2 years ago, and enjoyed our stay, we were expecting standards too have stayed the same. On arrival the receptionist was friendly and helpful, the standard of our room was good. However the Bar/Restaurant area seems to suffer with a lack of leadership and direction when it comes to customer service. The young staff were helpful, but poorly trained, ie having to ask for cutlery and cups. The menu could do with being revised.
S.
I would have given the hotel a 100% but only one inconveniencing detail stops me short. I HAD NO FRIDGE IN MY ROOM!!!!! I do hope this is not a new trend. I was told your newer rooms, such lovely rooms, are not equipped with fridges!!! What?? I have never had this experience before now in any hotel anywhere. It was a terribly hot day. I made several trips down to the bar to get ice. Why on earth did I have to make such long trips? For me this cancelled out whatever goodwill I already stored up for the hotel. I did feel extremely traumatised by my long trips to the bar to get ice. I was there to relax. Making such repeated trips to the bar got me absolutely devastated. I will not be staying in the Maldron Hotel in future until this fridge situation is rectified.
D. F.
Nice and spacious room. Had meetings in the hotel too and the rooms are amazing. Great AV and air con was a plus! Food in the bar was super. Will definitely return
D. H.
I enjoyed my stay at the maldron.
My friend and I had one of the penthouse suites and it was fantastic. The spa experience was so relaxing and great value as we added the edan package on to our stay.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The dinner was something else. I had the surf and turf. It was beautifully presented.
My only complaint to my stay was at breakfast time all of the plates and cups were not cleaned properly as they felt grubby
K. T.
Not a bad hotel at all. We picked somewhere a little away from the centre to avoid being anywhere noisy, and this fit the bill. The walk into town took maybe 15-20 mins, but its all flat (and there's a McDs along the way for a sneaky pack of chips). We booked a deluxe room which had a separate lounge area, which was comfy, and being on an end of a corridor you're less likely to annoy your neighbours. The walk to the room from the lift did feel like a long way, (I'm not sure if all the deluxe's are on the end's of the corridors.) Breakfast was good but not the best we had in Ireland. Its the usual self service buffet, served in a restaurant that seems just a little more tired than the rooms. This isn't a 'destination' hotel, but its a perfectly good place to stop for one or two days in Galway.
P. C.
Great place for either a quiet pint or a meeting place to warm up before you head off to town. The locals are friendly and the bar staff are beyond nice. Would highly recommend this for a stay in Galway.
L. D.
We stayed here for 4 nights and the hotel was perfect! The underground carpark was brilliant as we didn't need to worry about weather going to the car which I think was a huge plus! The reception staff were so friendly and very helpful.
The room was excellent, we were in room 314 and it was so quiet we wouldn't hear a thing when we were back in the hotel in the evenings! Also the accommodation staff were so nice and friendly!
Food in the restaurant was very nice, the breakfast would of been a 8/10 for me but my nan loved the breakfast!
Location was excellent! Only 5/10 mins into the city centre and it had the business park and galway shopping centre a 2 min drive away!
Loved it and defo would stay again!
Á. F.
Heating was not working in my room in March. When I tried to use the fitness studio, all windows were open, and it was freezing cold. On the other hand, the hotel is nice, and the food is very good, especially the rich choice for breakfast.
M. H.
This hotel is great value. The room was large and airy as was the bathroom. Staff couldn't be more friendly, and the food in the restaurant was exquisite. I would highly it.
A. D.
The hotel was very nice. My only complaint is that the restaurant service was extremely slow. From placing an order (looking to have a quick dinner by myself), it took 40 minutes for my starter to arrive (which I ate within a couple of minutes), and another 20-30 minutes for my main course to arrive. I ordered a coffee with my dessert and the coffee came 10 minutes after I'd finished my dessert so I had it to go. A 'quick' meal took close to an hour and a half in total.
It's a shame as the food was very nice. I'd definitely get food ordered to my room in the future if staying here.
S. F.
Great location and friendly staff. Got to the hotel at 1.00 oclock and was able to check in early with no problems. The room was excellent especialy the bathroom. Will stay again. Thanks Maldron Hotel staff
L. C.
This was our first trip to Ireland, we were so excited because we heard the people in Ireland were so friendly, not the case at the Maldron restaurant staff. We were blantently ignored numerous times by the waiters/waitress and received an eye roll when we asked for our ticket and small to go box. I'm not sure if it's because we were from the states but it was extremely disappointing. Thankfully the front desk lady was lovely and upgraded us to a suite. I would stay here again in a heartbeat but would eat elsewhere.
S. S. (.
All was good, however, soundproof was really something that spoiled overall impression. Unfortunately, single-glassed windows didn't give any silence in the room, as well as you can hear every single sound from the neighboring rooms. Would be very nice that this will be improved. Apart from this - no complaints.
R. G.
Tommy and the rest of the team aregreat and the food and service are incredible
J. C.
Stayed at the maldron for two nights and had a good stay, close to the city and staff were all very nice! Only bad point was the bed in our room wasn't at all comfy and felt like the springs were gone in it. One other thing was no option to have a hot breakfast to the room, when your paying for a tray yo be delivered you should have the full options of breakfast offered!
A. M.
Maldron Hotel was a perfect choice for our stay. The room was clean and spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. The location is close to city centre (about a 20 minute walk) while being just a little out of the way and also able to offer a free, underground car park.
P. T.
Another very pleasant and well served lunch. This time a Sunday Easter Day lunch. Staff most welcoming and obliging. Parking was easy and the restrooms were spotlessly clean, odourless and comfortable to use.
J. M.
The hotel was very well appointed, the staff exceptionally nice and helpful and a short 15 minute walk to town center. The staff at the Maldron went above and beyond expectations to make sure I received my camera I left behind before I left Ireland. Thank you so much!
L. N.
Staff were lovely and food was gorgeous, but thought the bar area could of been warmer. The reception area could do with a revamp. The room was comfy and the 5 of us were happy there. Will go back again.
D. D.
Well looked after by your fabulous staff in the bar and restaurant
m.
Had an excellent stay. Nice clean room. Breakfast very nice. Excellent location close to city. Chloe in Spa very nice and helpful and also the front desk staff. Overall very good. Have been before and will be back again.Niall.
O. C.
Only one problem which was dealt with by helpful staff. We could not sleep because of external noise, sounded like an extractor fan, which by 4am became unbearable. The night porter transferred us to another room which in spite of his best efforts was no quieter. The next day hotel management not only apologised but responded by transferring us to another quieter room. Our second night was uneventful with a peaceful night's sleep.
G. T.
Great rooms, clean and nice, professionall staff, love it.
G. H.
Very nice hotel. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Food is very good. Even though being refurbed during our stay everything was done to make our stay remember able for the right reasons. Thank you.
I. D.
We really enjoyed our stay, staff were very helpful and attentive, it was very busy in dining room but it was a bank holiday weekend and at busy times people have to expect to wait, we didn't mind waiting and service was very good as was the food overall very nice experience was had and we would definitely return.
O. a. I.
Helpful and pleasant staff (with one notable exception - the suited Manager at Breakfast who stormed around miserably, having little regard for guests). Room rather dated. Ours overlooking the front was noisy from the road traffic which meant a very poor night's sleep.Need better sound insulation. Breakfast was average.
G.
Excellent location. Clean place to stay in. Spacious rooms. The only reason i would give it a four star is because things i order take ages to come and i had to ring the front desk more than once until they get me what i wanted.
A. O.
Nice modern room & hotel. Receptionist was very welcoming & good choice of cooked food, fruit & healthy alternatives for breakfast. Short bus journey to the center of Galway
D. I.
All as described, no surprises. Good internal parking area.
J. C.
Arrived Monday 13th for a spa break with my husband. The location was perfect for us as it's just outside the city centre and there's a shop only a few steps away. Room was spotless and smelled fresh and clean, the bed was super comfortable, food was delicious and the Spa was amazing! Staff were all very friendly but Clodagh from the Spa was super amazing! We had dinner Valentines night and were surprised with a glass of prosecco, chocolate and a red rose. I had my hen at this hotel a few years ago and I'm glad I returned again. We will definetly be back! 😊
A. R.
Great location about a 10 to 15 min walk into the city center. Rooms are lovely and the front desk staff where great. Breakfast was ok but hardly any service even on a quite morning. Waited until we had finished eating untill we got asked if we wanted coffee both mornings we stayed.
J. E.
Fantastic hotel. They went out of their way to accommodate our requests. Lovely breakfast. Clean large room perfect for our family of four
K. K.
Excellent service, nice modern interior, free car park, walking distance from city centre. Just bit disappointing breakfast in terms of choice and variety of food. But still fresh and tasty. Didn't like the idea of not being able to open a window at all- Air conditioning 24/7 instead.
g. m. m.
The hotel staff were always willing to help me,such as guiding me onto the correct exit road out of Galway to continue my holiday in Kerry. Also I received help on how to use the hotel internet machine,(I am a complete technophobe!).
Overall,a very pleasant experience indeed.
J. C.
Nice hotel. A lot of renovation work currently underway, However limited disruption to guests. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy access to Galway centre and West coast.
T. K.
An email interesting place that shares the property with a gas station. It's fine when you need a quick overnight place for a business trip, but don't expect much more. For a trip to experience local vibe, I would look for other places in or close to the city
D. D.
1) check in very quick with friendly staff
2) good sized room, no issues , not the best room I have stayed in but not the worst
3) bar good, quick service again friendly staff
4) breakfast, plently of selection, only one thing I found the food to be barely warm by the time I sat down it was nearly cold otherwise it was good
Overall I had a good stay and would be back due to the hotels location.
Special note of thanks to front of house staff, I think the lady's name was Ita? Great help when I left my phone in the taxi rang around to find the taxi company and organized for the taxi driver to drop it back, big thank you.
J. Q.
Room was lovely & clean. Had the best sleep in a big king bed. Food at the restaurant was great. Thanks for Alan in FOH for the recommendations. We felt really looked after
M. D.
Staff were excellent, very accommodating and friendly. This is the first time staying here since it became the Maldron but we stayed a couple of years ago when it was the Pillo which was also very good. Galway is an excellent City and we will definitely be staying here again!
V. A.
We stayed in Maldron hotel in Sandy Road as as base for our trips to Connemara and Cliffs of Moher. It is very good that we had free access to the car park; breakfast was good and also the beds were comfortable, we had a very good rest!
Only point to note, we believe the price was too high
T. D.
No food available when travelling on business and arriving after 9pm. Informed at reception that there was no room service despite there being reference to a limited menu - as it was only 20 mins after 9 - an offer to check with the kitchen given that I had been travelling for 5 hours, would have been greatly appreciated. Remote control held together with sellotape. Breakfast not great either - poached eggs on request, but you are then directed to make toast separately - cant seem to make a slice in the kitchen so that it all comes together and warm. My second experience of this in the Maldron group - does not make sense or for a happy breakfast experience. Not the 4 star it purports to be.
J. W.
My friend and I stayed 26-28 th February and we had a fantastic time .The hotel staff were great ,room excellent breakfast amazing plus our evening meal was a delight.Thank you from both of us and we would definitely stay again .

Very disappointed with our stay no bath in bathroom. Room was very hot a stuffy which lead to a poor nights sleep. Fridge didn't work to keep our water cold. Pillows were awful!! Would not go back or recommend this hotel. Also had problems with our dinner in restaurant.
P. C.
Nice hotel, rooms are spotlessly clean, very comfortable. Beware of stag/hen nights. ...when they arrive back from town later at night the music and noise can be a bit much.
s. o.
I will recommend this place for sure. Lovely experience from the reception, food, restaurant, tasty food, warm restaurant staff, newly renovated rooms and comfy beds, what more can we ask for? Definitely a place to go even for a cup of tea & a nice piece of cake...
E. O.
Absolutely fantastic hotel with fantastic facilities, wonderful staff, spacious and comfortable rooms and outstanding food. Very affordable rates and this is coming from me who is a college student. Excellent location surrounded by supermarkets, cinema and only 15 minute stroll from the city centre. Would strongly recommend this hotel.
j. m.
Times are very different obviously but this a good hotel experience, From reception to management the staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay very pleasant,
F. g.
Service was bad..waited 20 mins for staff to find a bottle opener. Sat for breakfastand next morning, 3 tables that came in after us were served before us.. when finally got served, breakfast I ordered was wrong but waited so long just ate it and left.
K. O.
Excellent service 👌👍
The staffs are fantastic and great customer services
M.
Extremely clean cosy rooms.
Myself and my partner loved it here.
My friends also loved their stay. Their room was also extremely clean.
staff are lovely and friendly.
Close to a huge range of shops, shopping centers and not far from the city. 10-15 mins walk
Highly recommend
I. K.
Absolutely fantastic staff at this hotel. I've never seen anything like it.
I had an issue with a shirt where my ironing predecessor would have damaged their garment amd in turn left plastic on the iron so I In turn; had managed to mark my own shirt on a few places :)
So.... I called reception for another iron and a few minutes later I got a call from Emma, the duty manager and she offered to go buy me a new shirt...... Now, where else would you get that service... I only needed it dry cleaned which she had it all sorted in the morning.
I am sipping on a coffee right now looki g out the window at the rain, and who is standing outside in it, physically giving directions.... Emma.
The staff do the little things right, timing, attitude, friendliness and...all with a smile.
Congratulations Emma. You are awesome, and the staff both in reception and the bar are the best I've seen.
Galway should be proud.
S. L.
Good place to stay, close to Galway centre. Car or taxi ride away from all Galway has to offer. Pleasant rooms very clean. Great breakfast.
C. D.
Spent a night here 3 weeks ago, was greeted by Tommy who was really friendly and helpful. Was upgraded to a Junior suite! Had a lovely meal. The whole experience was really lovely! Well done 😀
m. c.
Overrated place. It should be a 3 stars. Nice staff. Breakfast under average level, there was no chocolate or something similar to nutella. Few choices. Electric adaptor only on sale 4€, and toothpaste/toothbrush kit on sale too. Room was quite standard ,106 was just on top of a 24/7 gasoline station, luckily they've changed our room.
N. B.
Lovely well appointed room, very clean. Staff very friendly and efficient. 15 min walk into city centre.
C. S.
Great spacious room. Really enjoyed our stay. And staff were incredibly polite and forthcoming. Highly recommend staying here.
N. B.
Great hotel. Very clean. Was also at a great location, short walk in to town. The breakfast was delicious! Very accommodating and friendly staff.
R. H.
We were there for a 40th Birthday party. We had a great time. Lovely food, nice bar and hotel rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again.
J. O.
From the time we arrived till the day we checked-out, we were treated very well and we had a great time.
The staff are the best we have met in any hotel in Europe in recent times.
Anita & Elaine at Reception for their professionalism, not forgetting Tom & Cian at the Bar / Restaurant for their great sense of humour. We were also very impressed to hear that the Maldron Sandy Row was fundraising for The Children's Hospital Crumlin - we noticed that all the staff tips were going towards the Crumlin Hospital Fund - a very generous gesture by the staff. We strongly recommend this hotel to people visiting Galway.
S. I.
Not a bad 3 star hotel but not best either.
Located on top of a filling station next to busy roundabout.
Parking is free but space is tiny and not secure.
No swimming pool!!
Staff were friendly though 👍
L. C.
Can't fault the maldron, absolutely amazing stay. Lovely comfy quiet room, great breakfast and amazing friendly staff. Will definitely be back.
M. j.
The hotel is nice, lovely food but the showder is not the best we had. Some bathroom equipments need to be fixed.
It is very noisy if you have a room on the 1st floor because the road is close.
G. K.
Good basic hotel with a solid bar and better than expected bar/restaurant. A bit of a walk to NUIG (~22+ min) and Galway City's tourist areas(~20 min), but not too bad unless its cold and raining.
t. c.
Breakfast staff were wonderful
B. Q.
Beautiful clean hotel, very comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful, and every precaution taken for covid 19,would definitely recommend to everyone, thank you to all,
I. J.
We was very impressed with the service.. When we arrived at the Hotel our luggage was brought up to our room by one very help staff member Marius , so that we could have a nice and relaxing spa break... The day started beautiful and got better, super staff and credit to all of you... Keep up the great work
L. M.

t. l.
Made so welcome and food was great rooms very clean and tidy staff so helpful. Chowder was delicious as was turkey and ham dinner breakfast was great eat as much as you like.
T. O.
Great staff and a brilliant restaurant menu. Very comfy rooms and really well located, only a 10 minute walk from the city centre. Only downside is they advertise a spa but you need to book a treatment in order to get access.
C. G.
Nice hotel. Kids club for the little ones and top breakfast. Taxi into town costs around 8 euro. Walking takes about 20 mins all flat.
E. M.
Friendly helpful staff, handy parking, close to town. Haven't stayed here so can't comment on the rooms. Just been in it for training courses and occasional dinner.
N. J.
Lovely, modern and cosy room. Very professional and welcoming staff. I would come back to Maldron and highly recommend it if you are planning to go to Galway.
B. K.
I love this hotel. Clean, nice view, great place. Lovely food and very friendly staff.
D. O. M.
We just stayed one night in the Maldron but the most memorable part were definitely the girls on reception! They were so lovely and welcoming, they really made the whole experience that little bit more special,
L.
This hotel is just off a roundabout coming into Galway from the Dublin direction and has a free car park. It a fifteen minute walk into Eyre Square, which is perfect if you don't want to contend with the awful traffic going into town. Breakfast is 10 euro if you book beforehand. There is a handy petrol station next door which has a good deli and sells wine. There is also a few shopping centres just up the road with a Penny's, Dunnes and McDonalds. Despite its location next to a busy road, the rooms are quiet and clean. Staff are friendly and professional.
J. B.
I booked in to the spa with a few friends for a weekend away recently. From the minute we arrived until we left we received the best care, massages, facials everything. It truly was the best treatments we have received in any spa. The spa manager clodagh was the life and soul of our weekend. She made sure we had everything and more throughout our time here. Would 100% come back to this place but only if clodagh is there to greet us again. Amazing woman amazing place. Loved it. Thank you so much clodagh for all you did for us. Your one in a million x
P. K.
Prime location, easy access to cabs and bus. I have stayed here multiple times, close to shopping and high street(walking distance). Staffs are very friendly and definitely recommend this place.
J. V.
Good new hotel, comfortable bed, good shower & bath, nice towels. Nicely sized rooms. Good staff, comfortable and well appointed dining.
J. F.
We were very happy with everything on our stay, it is an easy walk into the town centre, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. It was also very reasonably priced, we will definitely return if the price remains competitive
T. C.
Fantastic value. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location on the verge of city makes this hotel very advantageous within 15 mins of the heart of Galway.
R. A.
Maldron hotel is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are lovely and the prices are very affordable :) if you need a good nights sleep go to this hotel. Definitely going again ;)
S. M.
Hotel was very good. Sorry but my meal on the Friday night left a great deal to be desired. I count not eat it and had to send it back. Steak was like rubber.
R. G.
I would stay again staff lovely, food excellent and accommodation lovely and well kept. I was here on business and would continue to stay here in the future including for leisure. The one thing I missed was a swimming pool but it wasn't a deal breaker. look forward to coming back. Thank you
S. C.
Good hotel beds are comfortable and food is good. Only downfall is there is no swimming pool or activities there is no entertainment in bar and a good hours walking distance to town.
B. P.
Good Hotel .. Friendly staff ..

This is a nice hotel in the making. The room was modernized and clean. The food options were adequate, I would recommend finding a restaurant in town for dinner.
A. R.
Nice and clean hotel. Good service. 24 hours gas station that sells hot food attached right to the driveway of the hotel. 15 minutes walk to downtown.
M. C. A.
Good food here, but come early as dinner options often change. Great reception service and clean.
B. M.
Great friendly hotel, easy to get to, close to everything in Galway, nice rooms, comes recommended 👍
g.
Lovely staff and hotel and nice spacious rooms. Would definitely stay again
A. M.
Wonderful clean hotel with friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Easy taxi distance to Galway proper. Highly recommend
P. E.
Rooms are lovely but really disappointed with the bar service and prices, €5.80 for a bottle of Heineken 0%. Service was slow at the bar when not busy, counting tips seemed more important to the staff.
E. O.
Stay there a few time the room are very well keep and the the staff are very friendly and helpful.it about 5 to 19 minute walk into Galway city highly recommend staying there.
A. A.
Stayed only one night but I felt good for the great service and the accommodation, there's no place to eat nearby but there's a grocery store to pick up some food., wifi was not that good.
T. O.
One night get away with my second half. It's a wonderful experience.
The room is beautifully decorated. The breakfast and dinner is mouth watering.
P. Q.
Thank you very much. I had two long work days in Galway and your hotel made it a pleasure. "Tommy" the bar man is an asset to your property. Friendly, efficient and a gentleman of the highest order.
D. A.
Decent hotel. Rooms pretty basic and breakfast is cheaper if you confirm it the night before. Free parking and Wi-Fi, spa and small (unsupervised) gym on site.
M. F.
The staff were excellent nothing wAs any trouble to them the food was very good only potatoes was a bit cold once otherwise it was great
L. C.

Absolutely fabulous experience, the rooms are beautiful and very well maintained, the staff are very helpful and so friendly, the restaurant's food is of top quality and it's conveniently located just outside of Galway city centre, would highly recommend!
P. K.
Great value for money and staff members working here are very helpful and friendly . And the breakfast in the morning time at the Grain and Grill Restaurant/Bar was delicious. And will be here again very soon ☺️

Very nice hotel, and an enjoyable stay. I'm impressed how the staff deal with the difficulties of Covid 19.

Rooms are equiped with safe, fridge, iron, tv.
Breakfast is good.
One thing I can not find is the brush for the toilet ;)

Enjoyed food and good service.
D. B.
Myself and my Wife had a wonderful time. Thank to all staff
J. C.
I have been coming to the hotel for 14 years. The service has deteriorated since my last visit. The facilities are good but restaurant food is limited and restaurant and bar service have got worse.
W. L.
Didn't stayed in hotel but used their spa, is very good facility and I have a good comparison to other places and hotels. Prices are attractive for treatments and staff very good.
L. M. C.
The staff were very welcoming and the bar service we received was excellent. The breakfast choice was also brilliant and the food was lovely
M.

Nice and easy. Wouldn't be in love with the restaurant for dinner as it's very open and impersonal but rooms are good and service is good too.
E. S.

A hassle free stay in a very convenient location. The underground car park with lift access to bedroom made it very handy for arrival and departure. Friendly staf.

The staff was wonderful and switched rooms for me as my booking didn't translate correctly through expedia. The beds are very comfortable as well.

Was disappointed to discover no pool but my own fault for mix up. Room was very warm couldn't control a/c but was accommodated by staff with a fan.

First time being here some nice staff very helpful the place it's self is lovely very upto date rooms are beautifully presented the hotel experience was over all amazing only reason I gave it 4 starts was because of the good me myself I like a good bit of food and expect it to be to a good standard when the hotel and all was overall amazing but the "pizza to your door" was less then satisfine dough was still a little bit raw I did send it back and didn't ask for a replacement the dinner wasn't the best either tasted like it was reheated from the day before other then that I would recommend the Maldron.
