D.We had a great weekend after Covid restriction have been lifted ( June 2021 ) - Great location in nature, lovely garden with nice animals ( alpaca, peacock, rooster, goat...); clean, warm and comfortable rooms. Very friendly and supportive cottage owner. Highly recommended for Group of friends and families.
L.Lovely place to stay during this time as it was very quiet and we met nobody. WiFi and mobile signal was very weak or not available at at. House was clean but a quite old. Animals were a nice distraction for teenagers. The promised maze was cut down.

D.Spent the weekend in Croan cottages, self catering, situated in a idyllic setting, house was good size, slept 6, beds comfortable, 2 bathrooms, one shower, one bath, 2rooms upstairs, 1 downstairs, kitchen had basics, outside sitting area, no bbq supplied, there are farm animals close by, as well as hens & peacocks walking around, pets are welcome but must be on a lead while outside, there's plenty of room for children to run & play , although it's necessary to supervise as the animals are around, lovely woodland walks nearby, & good shop about 10mins in the car, enjoyed our stay, & can recommend
