N. H.As the owner of a small luxury travel
Company, I am always in search of the perfect place to stay, I found it at Coolclogher. Maurice and Mary are wonderful hosts, wanting to make sure you have everything needed to have a wonderful stay Coolclogher is situated perfectly, on the edge of national park as well as being within walking distance of the lively town. The house is beautiful, elegant and very comfortable. Great beds, linens , water pressure...all in all wonderfully kept. I return to Coolclogher every year and am always delighted
E. D.My family and my husband's family stayed at the Coolclogher House in June of 2015. It's also where we had our wedding reception and it was a perfect experience. I use perfect because it was more than I could have imagined. From the scenery of the Mcgillycuddy Reeks to the historic and luxurious interiors of the house, it is one of the most beautiful places to stay in all of Ireland. Because I live in the States, I thought that planning a wedding across the Atlantic would difficult. I couldn't have been more wrong. Mary helped me plan every last detail, putting me in contact with local vendors who she has a history with and trusts. By the time I arrived in Killarney 5 days before my wedding, everything had already been taken care of so that I was able to enjoy time with my family and friends who had made the trip over. Mary truly made my wedding the best experience it could have been! I would give Coolclogher more than 5 stars if I could :)
A. W.Anyone desiring to get a fabulous taste of Ireland must include coolchogher house on your trip. Mary and Murray are guardian angels in a fabulous house on amazing grounds. We were two families and could not have had a better time. Everything you want is in Killarney music, entertainment, beautiful views, gardens, golf, and biking. Just fabulous and include the delight of the Irish people and you have the ingredients for a once in a life time vacation. Don’t miss it.
S. C.Our group of 14 had a wonderful time at Coolclogher House. The house is both elegant and comfortable, located close to a lot of the "must see" destinations in Ireland. A short drive into Killarney which is a bustling town full of great pubs and energy. One thing we loved was our morning walks along the trail to Muckross Abbey / House, both set in beautiful parkland / forested areas with the Lakes of Killarney set in the backdrop along the way. A great option for a family stay or a business trip. Highly recommended.
W. M.A brilliant place operated by beautiful hosts Mary and Maurice. There were 8 of us golfing and touring around the Ring of Kerry and we could not be happier with the house for our week stay. Excellent Hostess and Host that are very helpful in anything that you request. You can not go wrong staying at this house. Great Location, Great House, very welcoming Hostess! 5 stars+++.
L. O.Luxurious manor where you are central to many activities, yet hidden in the Irish countryside. All rooms have been beautifully decorated, each with the comfortable beds and bathrooms attached to the rooms. Relaxing library/sitting rooms, along with detailed formal dining room and family style kitchen. Hospitality of the owners is wonderful, making you feel welcome the moment you meet them.

H.While I have never been I found a postcard sent from Coolclogher House 9 August 1958 to the Reverend A.C.Telfer, Essex by a Martin."There are some 14 miles of lakes and a half circle of mountains lies south and west.The lakes are warm about 70 degrees, the weather is warm and changeable, and the food excellent. Occasional waves of Americans pass over the country. All Kerry is very beautiful." It remains the same today. Myles
