K. T.We had a most amazing stay there. The location is perfect for all local sightseeing and the attractions such as lighthouse or Bridges of Ross are just short drive or an hour walk away. This is a perfect place for hikes and cycling. Kilkee, named one of the most beautiful places in Ireland, is a must. The house is very well equipped and has a spectacular views of cliffs and Kilbaha Bay. The host was very helpful and accommodating. You will find all the local information and recommendations in the book prepared for the guests. Would recommend to anyone and would gladly come back in the summer for more exploring.
J. K.Just back from a stay in Loophead Cottage on the West Clare peninsula & will definitely be returning there. Booking & arriving were so efficent,welcoming & friendly including delicious home made scones on the kitchen table for us!The location is perfect, a few minutes walk from the pier on Kilbaha Bay, and the warm & friendly local bar serving great food all day. Some of the finest cliff walks,snorkelling,diving,fishing & amazing views surround this peninsula, the Shannon & Atlantic merging at land's end with views up coast to Doolin & the Aran Islands and the cliffs at Ballybunion on the other side. Everything you need for self catering is in the cottage & a lovely tree filled garden out the back. The fact that this is a sustainable community development cottage makes it really special. Wonderful achievement by the local community. 👍🌞
