We were a group of 8 that went in for some lunch on a Sunday. We had delicious food - pancakes,sandwiches and coffees. Everything was top class. Service by Colette was fantastic. I had an exceptional experience with this cafe. I do not live in Mayo and was trying to organise food and coffee for my aunt that has special needs who had to attend the funeral of her friend. Yasin, could not have been kinder in this incredibly difficult situation. He had everything organised and ready for my family to pick. His act of kindness has left a long lasting impression and I can not wait to finally visit this cafe once the lockdown is over. Again, a special thanks to Yasin.

Great place for a coffee. Staff are friendly and willing. Great toilet facilities, disabled toilet available. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, with always plenty of staff to respond to the queue. This place is popular and can get quite busy, be prepared for a queue. Best to encourage your party to sit and one person queue with the order, as there is no table service, other than to clear tables. Great seasonal coffees and chocolates, especially at Christmas. Yummy. 🍩🍰🍪☕🍵🌈

Needs painting and refurb! Even menus are tatty, service not great. One person next to me never got her coffee,another got a cold offering. Prices not cheap either. To be honest some reinvestment is required urgently to bring this place up to scratch..it can be made much better.

Made coffee our way, and that’s what matters. I give it 4 stars only because there was no pump used to measure the syrup, which is used to create a standard. I asked for 3 pumps and he dumped some in, it was way too sweet, but it was otherwise a good cup of coffee.

Good coffee, nice food quick bite menu type of thing. A nice outdoor area on foot path with tables chairs and heater. If there is one draw back it is that tables indoor are to close together thus having a private conversation impossible.

Mocha Beans Ballina are now offering vegan options on the menu. 💚 The only thing is that they sometimes forget parts that belong to the order like the tomato relish or place the small butter pack on the plate with the toast.

Service here is so slow. I stopped going in here before lockdown because of this and now its reopened it is still very slow service. Also every single time you ask not to warm scone they still do because it has taken so long to get it they oviously forgot

Hi guys. Clem Fandango here. Stopped off in Ballina recently and went looking for somewhere to have lunch. I decided to try Mocha Beans and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. My sandwich order was ready in no time and tasted every bit as good as it looked. As for the coffee; it was superb. The next time I'm in Ballina I know where I'm going for lunch!
