Got cajun chicken burger and homemade chips for takeout last night... firstly it was still surprisingly hot when it got home about 15 mins later... comes in really nice recyclable cardboard box that flattens out easily to a plate.. it was just divine... soooooooo messy to eat but fingerlicking good... even the chips were still quite warm and really really good. My daughter and husband both went for the chicken goujons and said they were fab. Theirs came with a real zingy garlic mayonnaise that I quickly pilfered for my chips... glorious. Great looking menu and really reasonably priced (€12.50 for the burger and chips I had). We will definitely be making it a regular for takeaway 😋.

Was 6 of us. I had the BLT sandwich and the sweet potato fries, which was amazing. The food is really good and so worth every cent. Only bad thing was I had to call them to get service.

We discovered this lovely cafe yesterday on our "staycation" around Galway. It is just off the road, to the right, as you travel throught Craughwell towards Loughrea. We had the best American pancakes I have eaten in a very long time. They come with bacon & maple syrup or fruit & yogurt and even better for me, they are gluten free. There were also some other great GF options on the impressive menu and we enjoyed great coffee in a lovely shaded area at the front. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the toilets clean and well maintained. Each table was provided with it's own sanitising gel. We were very impressed with this lovely cafe and highly recommended it.

Love this little cafe, the staff are friendly and the food is delicious! Something that I always consider about a place is consistency in the quality of their food and you always get it here, coffee is good too. Had the best sandwich I've tasted in a long time here last Saturday, it was a beef focaccia..only problem is it was a special, hope to see it on the board again.

We were in Craughwell getting a fire door. Young man in Green Energy recommended Chef's Staff were friendly and efficient. Place was lovely and clean. Our food was delicious. Hubby had pulled beef brisket and l had Eggs Benedict minus the bacon. The eggs were poached perfectly. The sour dough bread was beautiful and the crust so crunchy. Unfortunately one wouldn't be ready for 20mins to buy. So we bought beautiful cakes to bring with us, a brownie and 2 lemon meringue. Reasonable priced at €3.75 each. Our visit left us feeling Chef's deserved 5 stars

My husband went to chef's cafe and raved about it but I must say I am a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong: my daughter ordered take away chips and a BLT which were delicious....but I got a superfood salad which had no quinoa...no avocado...I feel I paid a fortune for a bit of leaf and tomatoes...

I'd heard a lot of good things, and they were correct. Really good food, homely, and very tasty. Only minus was the terrible, scrapey plates. Why restaurants use them I'll never know. When you barely touch the fork onto the plate, and the sound makes your teeth clench involuntarily...

Staff seemed friendly. I was there today with my kids. A little disappointed if I am being honest. The 7yr old wanted 2 scoops of ice cream, the ice cream was nice but the scoops were very very tiny, at 1.80euro a scoop. I asked the girl is that a normal sized scoop but she didn't seem to know. The boys got milkshakes, which were actually warm. There was no milkshakeness to them if one understands that, like the cold or the froth or the ice cream chill, they were actually warm and not very flavoursome, at 4.50euro approx each, they were over priced an too small. The 3yr old and 5 yr old polished them off in a few seconds. It was almost like mildly flavoured room temp milk. There was also a hot chocolate brought to the table, in a cup, but again, the cup only 3/4 filled, and over priced for what it was. I'm a bit annoyed at the 12.00 euro it cost for 3 drinks an a bit of ice cream when it didn't really satisfy any of us.

We have used Chefs many times but last weekend we had an unexpected event which meant we had to feed 13 adults and 6 kids of various ages from 4 to 16. We ordered takeaway from Chefs and it surprised even me just how good the food was, there was something there for everyone and there was a lot of praise from our guests who thought we had traveled to Galway to get it. This business has had a very positive affect on the village with its varied menu and consistent high quality.

We stopped at this cafe by chance on the way from Dublin to Galway for lunch. Reception area, young staff. The menu is very rich, spoiled for choice. Fresh and seasonal products. We were very satisfied

Very good food. Also quick things or snacks. No alcohol is served, but you can bring your own wine. I think it's great, and the food tastes great even without alcohol. Coffee and cake excellent. Staff quick and very friendly. It's worth stopping there and enjoying the food.
