Nice little cafe/bakery with take-away for now d/t covid restrictions. Now open from 10am-5.30pm daily. Love their crispy and custardy Portuguese tarts. Lovely selection of choc balls (with vegan gluten free options), chocolates, flapjacks, caramel waffle, cheesecake, donuts, cakes and tea/coffee/refreshing drinks selections.

A beautiful location, kept in pristine condition by dedicated staff who go above and beyond to be helpful and informative. The castle is fascinating with an amazing history clearly illustrated by the staff and information panels and video. The gardens are beautiful and very relaxing to walk around which is a welcome relief during these crazy pandemic times. I highly recommend this location on any tour of Ireland.

Nice outdoor seating with the beautiful view of the side of the castle. Food tasty, especially desserts, but pricey. Nice and quick service. Perfect stop on a way to the marina.

Nice food and coffee. Or so it seems. Thanks to Joseph's review below I was able to tackle staff about being expected to carry my own cutlery. Shame on them. Luckily, as I'd brought it up, I found out that for an extra €1.50 they'll even eat the food for me. Saved me the hassle of digestion. In seriousness it was very good and in a lovely location.

Good coffee, nice gardens, very friendly staff.

Excellent panini (crusty artisan baguette, wonderfully flavorful filling), and the potatoes leek soup was superb. Counter service. Pastries looked great but didn't try. Only downside was that their brown bread wasn't as good add Brogan's in Ennis, but hey, can't have it all!

Good food reasonable priced , but the cutlery and condiments should be brought to the table with the food. Having to get up from your table and go to another part of the tearoom to get your cutlery and condiments is a bit of a pain. Could be organised better. Worth a visit.

The co ffee and cake were lovely, unfortunately the chap who served us was very unfriendly. Very unwelcoming. 29th June 2019.

Tea was made with real tea leaves, coffee was fab and desserts were to die for! Prices a tad high but over all lovely place.
