A. V.Such a lovely first visit to this beautiful spot! Gorgeous view and food, only one thing I would fault, use mushy peas instead of frozen garden, then the fish n chips would be PERFECT ✅✅
P. M.Great experience from start to finished. Booked in with Emily by phone, she was super accommodating as we booked last minute, me and 2 kids, we went straight to the property which has breath taking views of rossnowlagh beach (which is also only a few minutes walk). The Food was amazing and The staff were so friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean and If you leave the window open you can sleep to the sound of the ocean. They served a breakfast fit for a king and allowed me to work away on my laptop no hassle in the restaurant the next morning. We will 100% be back for a visit soon.
J.Beautiful view, rustic vibes, friendly staff and owners, a bit on the expensive side, but you're eating on top of a cliff overlooking one of the most beautiful blue flag beaches Donegal has to offer so it's worth at least checking out once! Then deciding if it's worth it.
Been many times, will go again! Great food, large portions and following covid guidelines perfectly. A great spot to watch the sunset!
T. H.Quiet enough for a BH Monday as we arrived between lunch and dinner......it was exactly what we wanted casual coastal dining post beach walk. Love the casual vibe didn't feel out of place in active wear
L. M.I wouldn't bother visiting until you can dine indoors with no restrictions. At the moment it is a bit of a free for all. You need to find your own table (good luck) and then go inside to order - there was no table service. Our table sat dirty with the previous plates etc for a long time. The food was average - I found the oysters to be abit gritty, the mussels were very small, and the burger to be dry. It was all served in cardboard boxes which definitely took away from the dining experience.

R. M. G.It's not a fair assessment during covid as circumstances are not normal, but this restaurant was extremely busy with people waiting on tables, first come first served basis, staff were young and not trained properly, food mediocre, and the weather very hot the day we ate there.
I asked the waitress how big was the steak at 26.50 and she couldn't tell me.
So I thought at that price it must be big.

L. B.Really love experience here. Food was great, decently sized menu as well considering everything going on right now. I had the chicken fillet burger as my main and it was gorgeous. Cheesecake for dessert was lovely too. Good value. Staff were super friendly as well, and our table had a brilliant view of Rossnowlagh beach. Also! €2 for a pot of tea with 3 cups in it. What a joyous world.

W. D.Fabulous restaurant 5 stars quality perched high over Rossnowlagh beach. Very warm and welcoming, well spaced out and plenty of outdoor seating both covered and open. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and are very attentive. Great selection of dishes with seafood being the specialty although the steaks, pasta and everything else we tried was excellent also. We stayed for 2 nights in the limited upstairs accommodation. The rooms are clean and spacious with some having amazing sea views (6 😉) however a little dated hence the 4 stars and not really ideal for families. The breakfasts included in the price were outstanding as you would expect from a top notch restaurant. Ideally located for exploring North in to Donegal or South In to Mayo and North Galway. Surf school down on the beach which can also be driven on at low tide.

G. H.My partner popped in here 2 years ago and has been talking about it ever since. Finally we were in the area together and I had the opportunity to try the food for myself. He talked a big game so I had high expectations. We had an absolutely fantastic meal. Each course was consistently full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The view was beautiful. Towards the front of the restaurant is bright and airy with that beautiful view. Towards the back is a slightly dimmer with a more cozy atmosphere. There is also plenty of seating outside weather permitting.

M. T.A guy we met whilst walking went out of his way to recommend this place and I can see why. It has stunning views across rossnolagh beach during the day. Even though we went at night, the pub had a great atmosphere and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We appreciated that there was a separate vegetarian section to the menu (unusual for this area) and good allergen advice with alternative options give for gluten free) dairy free etc. No veggie specials though - that would be amazing next time. My partner had vegetable penne which came with garlic bread and I had trout with mashed potatoes and creamy sauce which was delicious. The desserts also looked great, but we were too full as the portions are generous. Prices seemed fair, not cheap but not a rip off either. Would come back :)

A. B.Great view, but you pay for it, London prices within the pub in an otherwise inexpensive area, but it's not the end of the world when you can sit and watch the waves roll in. Wasn't blown away by the menu(lack of gluten free options), it's the sort of place that would be a great venue for a wedding reception, probably does enough trade on its own though without any reviews due to the location. Worth a visit if you need somewhere to shelter from the cold and grab a soup.

The old wood, bricks, and curios decorating the walls and posts make you feel like you stepped back in time. Maybe a drunken sailor or pirate is going to walk in from the sea at anytime! Our family ordered the chicken supreme, seafood chowder, and soup of the day. It was good and went well with the Rockshore on draught.

Staff very friendly and polite and happy to give recommendations off the menu I had the scampi and chips with beetroot salad and was delicious especially with a really good pint of Guinness. For dessert had the orange and chocolate cheesecake which was also very tasty was a very enjoyable evening in a proper traditional Irish pub finished off with a walk back along the beach to Boortree campsite.

C. B.My husband and I got married in Ireland and stayed for two weeks traveling around in our rental car. Smuggler's Creek Inn was so great that we compared all the places we ate after that to it. "Well, this is no Smuggler's Inn, but it's pretty good."
We plan on visiting Ireland again and when we do, we're definitely driving to this corner to experience my favorite restaurant in the world: Smuggler's Creek Inn ;)
