Cozy café to get breakfast or lunch. Fast and very friendly service. I had the Peri Peri chicken burger which was presented quite good. Tasted good as well. A little bit spicy but i like that. Toilets could be cleaner and TP was empty, also in the ladies room. I recommend this place with good food!

Absolutely superb café/restaurant. Excellent food, quick service and very pleasant staff. Prices are very reasonable. Indoor and outdoor seating available and there is a playground for kids and off street parking.

Absolutely fab. Don't buy coco pops or cereal get yourself down to the Wheelhouse Burtonport if your in the area. Friendly service and absolutely gorgeous breakfast. Views are good too and comfortable tables and chairs. Mmmm we will be back.

Very friendly staff, quickly served and for a good price. My mushroom noodles had a good taste, just a bit surprised with the raw veggies (union, cucumber and tomatoe). The raw salad underneath was wonderful! I would definitely recommend this place for a quick stop!

Beat breakfast we had in a long time. The portions were just the right size. Presentations on in the take away containers were grate . Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid breakfast .

Lovely fresh food, made to order and friendly service, worth going to Burtonport for alone! They also have a lovely outdoor seating area with picnic benches looking out over a lake and plenty of parking right beside.

I love the chicken goujons and chips and the milkshake is delicious. One problem though, me and my friends waited a long time to be served once and I had to go up to the staff and tell them this we ended up leaving after 30 mins. I cant blame them it was very busy to be honest. Though I was very agitated. Dear manager thank you for replying. Yes I am sure this is the wheelhouse cafe I am talking about. And I know you haven't been open. I came here before the pandemic. Very disappointed. 👎

Great food, friendly staff, fab interior. adhering to all physical distancing guidelines without compromising on quality of service. Lovely out door area overlooking a lake. Perfect pit stop before heading out to arranmore island on the ferry which is a 2 minute drive from the cafe.

WOAH, what a great cafe!! I mindlessly wondered into this beautifully decorated caf, while exploring the great country side of donegal. I received a warm welcome upon arrival by both the manager and barista. SO to you Mackenzie, one of the most friendly people to have ever served me coffee, in an eco friendly cup might i ad. I would highly recommended to anyone to try out this place, but especially those of us who are vegan or plant based. I chowed down a thai mushroom salad. It went down a treat to say the least. I greatly enjoyed this spot and will be returning soon, if rona allows of course.

One of the Best places in town for a soup and sandwiches. Food is fantastic. Staff are great. Love their taco Thursdays. Just had their complete. Top notch. Definatley a wee gem in the rosses. If your passing it is a must visit. All food is fantastic and all desserts are home made.

Beautiful place with charming decor, they have a great choice on the menu. In fact better than some of the upper market restaurants I been in. The staff were brilliant great people skills, friendly and attentive, as for the food unbelievable freshly prepared with home made desserts.. such a wonderful experience to dine here will be definitely back.. it's worth the trip

Was down today in the wheelhouse with a freind got the most Devine lunch my recommendation would be the seafood chowder thought the day would have been to hot for it but it hit the spot they do lovely smoothies and milkshakes as for deserts its thee place to go all homemade the service was 100 and 10percent they were so busy they always find time to turn out great food so pleasant and so good to go to for something to eat if anyone is in the area and feeling a bit peckish the wheelhouse is for u

There’s a fairly stunning, on-trend interior to this fantastic addition to the community. One of two new cafes for the village (which is to say Burtonport now has two cafes), it’s well finished inside and out, with a bright red roof and cosmetic water wheel to ensure you don’t miss it. Inside, it’s a few cuts above your common-or-garden Rosses cafe, and features a surfeit of industrial chic lighting. Not long after opening in late July 2019 the breakfast and lunch menus seemed quite small, but a friendly welcome, great coffee, good food, and relaxing views over a little lake might well make this the most exciting thing to ever happen at this spot.

Visited several times with my non Vegan friend. We both enjoyed lunch, dinner, and hot drinks. Would definitely recommend and visit again if in the area. My only improvement suggestion would be for vegan desserts. Portions were great (my friend said her fish and chips was too much but I'm sure a bloke would be happily full)
