Food was excellent and staff were so friendly and nice.

I have never had a bad meal at the Loft and today was no different. I was there with my family for brunch for the first time together in their fabulous roof terrace garden. My 11 year old had the full irish, my 9 year old the waffles with Nutella and strawberries and my husband and I both had the smoked salmon on asparagus. It was one if the most perfect breakfasts I have ever had, it even tasted better than it looked and it was so elegant to look at. All 4 of us gave 5 stars for everything!! food, service & staff . A perfect Sunday brunch. Cannot wait to go back.

At first, we could not find the place as there is only a sign out there and you need to follow the stairs to where the cafe is. Fortunately I noticed the sign and we could have a meal in the outdoor area. The food was good, and the place and staff were nice. I would totally recommend it.

Such an enjoyable experience we had at the lofts outdoor dining this morning. The standard was exceptional and the new outdoor area is out of this world. Cannot recommend the loft enough.

Nice and cosy cafe. Like going in there when in Birr. Not easy to find it as there is only one banner but if you want a hint is next to a pharmacy on main street. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and great coffee. Banoffi pie is one of the best dessert option.

If you find yourself in Birr at any point and looking for a fabulous cafè then look no further than The Loft Cafè on main street, go up the stairs and find yourself in a cosy atmosphere, find a seat and look at the menu, all food prepared is made specifically for you, no pre prepared food or meals are under hot lamps or re-heated. Menu selection is extensive and reasonably priced, waitress service is excellent, efficient and very friendly, This Cafè is a must visit establishment. Enjoy.

Ive only been to Birr twice, and both times we visited The Loft. Lovely upstairs space that feels a bit like youre going to grandmas for tea. Nice selection of lunch items and pastries. They have some cute items for sale- Yankee Candles and things like that. There is a rooftop patio. Not handicap or stroller accesible but very child friendly.
