lovely cafe & staff. nice mix of options & reasonably priced ,the gift shop has an array of items beautiful clothes ,house hold & seasonal decorations. a little pricey but well worth a visit.

Lovely spot for a stop off in the historical town of Birr. There's an emporium too to wander after some good food. Very close to Birr Castle.

Very nice Georgian house, lovely staff and very pleasant owner Caroline. Expect 18th century quirkiness and a real find in the Midlands. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful shop and restaurant. Stopped in for lunch and had the goats cheese panini. Food was very nice and reasonably priced. The also sell some lovely home decor and furniture.

The staff are nice, friendly and professional. The place is a great blend of classic styles & combines a specialist home decor store w. an upscale feel cafe/coffee shop. Whilst the building and the decor add up to quite a lovely environment, it is sadly a case of style over substance. Food is routinely heated in a microwave. Servings are plated up in a store-room behind the coffee-bar in which standard fare from a bulk provider is combined to provide mediocre quality foods. An effort has been made to up the game using prime quality meats where possible.. The Burger for instance SHOULD have been brilliant..a home made patty, w. a lean mince mix.. Sadly the aforementioned microwave was used to melt cheese or heat the patty. Put in a hotplate and a grill - let the staff have some elbow room. Make sure any working space is spotless, busy or not! Very close to greatness!

Beautiful 1820s building. My bedroom had a high ceiling, sash windows, and a charming view of the courtyard. The bed was possibly the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The owner couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, and went out of her way to put together a vegan breakfast that wasn't on the menu. If I go to Birr again, this will be my place of choice every time.

Caroline boyde is an amazing Lady. The stables is a brilliant place for brunch and then you can shop in the beautiful dress bar or get a gift for a good friend or yourself all under the one roof. The staff are so helpful and they serve the most delicious food.

Athmospheric old georgian house with a nice cafe and a lovely shop. Bed and breakfast is perfect . The location is in the most beautiful part of Birr . Definately worth a visit .
