M.We used to love going here pre Covid, great coffee/ treats and the staff really nice, but we went recently ( our first time visiting since the pandemic) I showed my covid cert but the staff didn't even look at it, just told me to 'sign in', anyway, we ordered and went to a table but it wasn't clean, ( it should have been, covid or not) when the order arrived the staff member just wiped the table down with his bare hand! Not good.
Update -Dec 21, I had to return, simple because the coffee is possibly the best I've ever had, and it was very good, properly checking covid certs and made sure we used hand sanitizer. Also the tables were very clean. Good job, keep it up 👍 Happy days, again. ☺️

The Café Lounge belongs to the people who bring us "Art of Coffee" coffee - the roastery is right here in Carrick-on-Shannon. This place brings quite a bit of Italian flair to Carrick! I come here often, whenever I'm around. Usually I leave with coffee to go. Last time I threw away a pair of old shoes rather than some of the coffee I bought at the airport, to get my suitcase weight under control. Strong recommendation to go here for your Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Espresso or Americano!
