Fabulous coffee shop. Very well run...one person looks after you until your order is completed. Beautiful cakes and tasty sandwiches. Great view over the Shannon. Plenty of tables outside. Clean toilets.

Well, The Bikers must have scoffed all the fruit scones by the time we got there, but as usual, the rest of the food was excellent. Good outdoor eating space for all the patrons and excellent food all cooked on the premises.

Really friendly staff, but the food was reheated in a microwave making the pastry on my lunch companions sausage roll soggy on top and tough underneath, lasagne too was over heated making it tough at the edges. The 'pizza' looked delicious although was closer to a veggie tart than a pizza again ruined by overheating. To be fair the food had potential but would have been better heated in an oven or at lower heat. We also ordered Americanos which we felt lacked espresso. Sweet pastries and cakes looked delicious.

Called in and had a bowl of piping hot soup on a cold day .Excellent service and value.I resisted the cakes and pasteries which were vert tempting and looked delicious .Friendly staff .All covid recommendations followed .Clean toilets .Plenty of outdoor seating area as well as indoors which is upstairs .Toilets upstairs No sure if there is a downstairs disabled toilet

Just popped in for a lovely lunch in Coffeys. Sat upstairs and enjoyed the view of the boats. Food was excellent...just what we wanted. BLT for me while my husband had quiche and salads. All food prepared on the premises with a homemade flavour. Couldn't resist a big slice of Chocolate Biscuit cake for afters which was delicious. Best of luck to new owner Barbara and her excellent staff!!

We enjoyed a lovely lunch. The staff were wonderful friendly polite and professional. Everywhere was spotless. We bought an Apple Pie and a Rhubarb Pie as gifts they were demolished very quickly. My children love this place, great baked goods, great cafe, very reasonable for fresh food. The menu is a little limited but enough for all my family to lunch. Then we are always tempted by the great range of cakes for treats too. Very friendly staff always make our visit a pleasure.

It's always a pleasure to stop here enroute to the west and coming back too. It is ideally located near the bridge and on the main street with convenient nearby parking. Do not be put off by the small appearance of the shop, there is a very large and open feeling area upstairs with large windows over the riverside and small but busy roundabout, also a sit-out downstairs. Good quality cakes, buns etc and excellent staff providing delivery to your table. Great coffees. Toilets on site.

Not a huge menu but the food is very fresh and delicious. They are very reasonably priced. Vol au vont with salad for two people, drinks, sausage rolls, tea and meringues for dessert - all under & €20. Staff are really nice and helpful too.

This is a great traditional coffee house with a very appropriate name. Great for cakes, breads, and other treats. Great view from the first FG floor overlooking the Shannon. A great spot from which to watch the world go by.

Lovely selection of fresh bread and cakes, buy either to take away or eat in, all at really good prices, they even give you a coffee refill. decor is a bit tired and outdated but staff are friendly and helpful so all in all not a bad place to drop into for a cuppa and slice of cake.

Hot food available but I was an early morning visitor so I did not peruse the menu. I had a lovely quiche and scone. Lovely staff. Room for eating upstairs. A little area to sit out and eat down the back to the side. Toilets upstairs.

Lovely cafe in Carrick on Shannon with a great selection of food and drink and of course coffee. The sausage rolls are very appetising and filling. There is a choice of dining inside or outside, where the latter offers a tranquil view of the mighty river Shannon, the longest in Ireland and indeed the British isles.

Irish baked goods at a low price with a two-story café. The price-performance ratio and service are right here. Anyone staying in Carrick-on-Shannon should take a short break, drink tea by the window on the first floor and look out over the River Shannon.
