This place is great! Atmosphere is very warm and cozy. Food is pretty good with amazing coffees and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

I have been a loyal and frequent customer of Mocho Beans for years. Discovered today that this particular branch has decided not to serve eggs for breakfast anymore. Eggs! This struck me as a very odd decision but maybe I am behind the curve on some new trend. Anyway I will be eating breakfast elsewhere.

This is the best café I have ever been to. Basically lived there during my semester abroad. The staff is incredibly friendly and creates a welcoming atmosphere. Besides that of course the coffee is great and I especially loved the food as well - does not matter if it is breakfast, lunch or just a sweet snack. The only bad thing to mention: there is no mocha beans in austria and I really miss it!

I really enjoy going into this mocha beans. The staff are really helpful, always smiling and I even experienced a Karen trying to get the staff into trouble but the manager turned it around. Smiling, she was asked to leave to chat away from customers and when Karen left the store she was politely asked to leave. It was impressive! The staff work really hard to get your order just right, give them the benefit of the doubt if they make a mistake. They usually correct the mistake and end up not charging you for the item that was wrong. Give retail and hospitality staff some slack people!!! Anyways, back to the point at hand. Mocha beans food and beverages are great. I love going there on Friday morning to watch and smell them roasting the coffee beans.

This Little restaurant has some letting rooms. I was attending the Hospital in galway and was there for 10hrs. The A& E dept was crazy. Accommodation in galway was at a premium and nothing near was available. My daughter looked on line and managed to get myself and my husband a double room. They gave a code for the main door and the bedroom. It was a spotless room with a lovely double shower with complimentary toiletries. A very comfy bed. The only down side was road noise as it was front of house. All in all a very reasonable and comfortable stay. Would return and recommend.

I love it. A chain, but waaaaaaayyyyyy more character than a Starbucks or a Costa. Reasonable prices, great breakfast, hot chocolate to please the kids, good coffee for the adults, and on site roasted beans to go. Love it!

I remember when this place was McManus's post office. The place has changed completely. The food is simple but there is plenty of it. The choice is good but not extensive meaning that you can be sure it is done for you. The staff are very pleasant, I would guess most are students from the University across the road. My only issue was the white chocolate cheese cake and raspberry topping... I wouldn't be writing home about it.

The breakfast was great. You can choose from the breakfast menu or the coffee menu. The selection is very extensive and the quality of the food and drinks is great! It's just a shame that with included breakfast you can only choose 1 dish and 1 drink. The daily newspaper is available to read for free at breakfast. Now about the accommodation: it is located above the café and is accessible via a keyless system. This means that you will receive the code for access to the front door and room door by email before you arrive. This was a bit new for me and took some getting used to, but it soon turned out to be a very good idea because you didn't have to keep an eye on your room key when you were out and about. What was a shame about the whole thing was that there was no proper check-in and therefore no direct contact person. When checking out, you could have just left without paying and no one would have noticed, since you don't have to hand over a key. The room wasn't that special. The double bed was very high and there was hair on the sheets when we arrived. There was also dirt on the pillow (looked like a shoe print). Behind the bedside table there was still rubbish from the previous guests. There is no television in the room, which would cheer up the dreariness. However, the bathroom was very spacious, bright and clean! What you shouldn't expect in this B&B is that someone will come clean the rooms. Only the trash can is emptied and the towels are changed. It's not great value for money, but this accommodation is one of the cheapest in Galway. Mocha Beans is okay for 1-2 nights.
