Lovely coffee shop in Cavan town that has great cakes, traybakes, sandwiches, omelettes, salads and soup. It's the perfect place to have a coffee and snack, sitting outside at one of their tables in a quiet square.

Enjoyed a really nice takeaway coffee from here. It is definitely one of the most appealing cafes In the town it has a really lovely look and is intising. The staff were very friendly, unfortunately I wasn't long after breakfast so didn't get any of the delicious looking treats which had a great variety of vegan items too.

Datsé's Café and Cakes is such a lovely cafe in Cavan Town, and we are so happy we stumbled upon it! The staff is lovely, the coffee is delicious, and there are several gluten free & vegan pastries/items available! I have Celiac Disease, so I always love discovering small, local business who offer gluten free items!

Lovely cafe in the centre of Cavan town. These guys are highly skilled baristas, my flat white was perfect. My slice of homemade cake was equally as good. Also, very happy, friendly service. I highly recommend this spot.

Great coffee, fresh, tasty bakes, healthy lunch/salady stuff. And supremely good, (unforced) customer service, which of course is the best (only) kind. And little tables outside on the square to enjoy all, without rushing. Highly recommended: this is what it looks like when it's done right.

Recently had a Minecraft themed birthday cake made by Datsé and all I can say is WOW! First, it's gorgeous. My 14 year old daughter was in tears! She couldn't believe it! Second, it's amazingly delicious. As good as any chocolate cake I've ever had. Genuinely. Third, it was half the price of a similar cake in Dublin. Literally, half the price. What amazing value!! Fourth, and most importantly, the birthday girl and her brother both just said, 'give her a million star review'. When you've made the client that happy, you'll never run out of customers. Highly recommended and best of luck! I'll be recommending you and returning ASAP! ❤️

Definitely the best coffee in Cavan. Wonderful selection of cakes & pastries. We stopped to pick up coffee & treats for the trip back to Cork but will definitely call when we are up again to sample from their extensive menu. Lovely to see people sitting eating in the cafe & social distancing was no problem. Plenty of sanitiser too. Such lovely friendly staff. Overall there was a great vibe, great food & coffee & the loveliest staff. Already looking forward to returning.

Just sitting here eating a delicious Daim cake and drinking a gorgeous latte and that is after having a fantastic club sandwich. Lovely place, good value, great quality, nice music, pleasant staff and cosy atmosphere..... will be in tomorrow before heading back to Dublin !

I would be regular customer to this coffee shop and the girls are always friendly and pleasant to deal with, the only negative point I would have is the price I was charged for small coffee and two scones to take away was €9 and thought it was way over priced to the point I questioned it with the girl and she said the price was correct. It won't stop me eating or going here for my coffee I just won't be ordering scones in a hurry again!

We stopped here on the way to Dublin for a coffee and came accross Datse's. The staff were incredibly friendly and the coffee was one of the best we've ever had and inexpensive. We also bought a loaf of bread for the way home and had a cake each which were very tasty.
