m. g.Absolutly brilliant. An absolute utter delight! Brilliant food, excellent service and exquisite presentation. The only small thing that i would change was that it took half an hour for a sandwich and soup, but it was totally worth it!! The best meal i have had in a long time. And good value to top it all off!

W. B.Niamh place was recommended to us. First time visit to Clonmel. The food was very good, delicious, a bit expensive. I have issue however with the service and no toilet facility. I believe they should have a notice at the front stating no toilets. We spent 10 days on holiday in 4 different locations and this was the only place not to have toilets open, citing covid 19 as the reason. We visited a lot of different cafés and restaurants and niamhs was the only one with no toilets open. I would have ordered elsewhere had I know. Second issue which really ruined the occasion was the very rude reaction we got when we asked for or meal to be warmed up again. It arrived cold even though we asked for our quiches to be heated up. Avoid if you need the toilet or wish to be treated with manners. Otherwise great food.

D. H.Inconsistent at best. Food used to be spot on despite poor service, but has been disappointing the last few times I've been. Had to send back a salad a few weeks ago because the chicken had been burnt to a crisp. It never should have made it to the table it was so obvious. Service has always been bad and continues to be so. Either clueless younger girls or stern older women, neither of which deal well under pressure during a lunchtime rush. Needs some serious customer service training all around. Menu has gone downhill too since chef went to Dungarvan. Definitely not on my list of recommendations in Clonmel anymore. 😔
H. H.Not the place to go if you are claustrophobic. Trying to fit too many tables in that one if the tables is a walkway hazard just outside the kitchen area. Food is average. Plates are huge and filled out with lots of lettuce leaves to make the meals look more on the plates. . Also not great to manage on the tiny tables. There are lots of other places now in Clonmel that would be a better choice for lunch.

C. B. (.Niamhs is definitely one of the nicest cafes in Clonmel. Excellent menu that is well varied and a brilliant breakfast menu aswell. It can get extremely busy here at peak times lunch etc so there may be a wait for a table. Great take away options and the staff are always friendly & helpful.

S. C.Great value for money. Always fresh. One of the last places in Clonmel that bakes fresh cakes, they dont "buy them in", a horrible cost effective trend that some restaurants implement. Friendly staff who know the local children's names, attentative to your table. Great "real" art on the walls for decor.

S. H.After trying four cafes in Clonmel for vegan options, I stumbled upon this gem. My server was very helpful and knew what to tell me straight away: falafel naan without the yoghurt is vegan, can’t have the chips as they’re done in lard. Boom! And it was delicious too, with a lovely side salad. I’ll definitely be back when visiting the homeland.

D. M.This very popular place does great food at lunch with very friendly staff, there are tables for those sitting in and a counter for those taking away so if you want to sit down just ask one of the staff rather than standing in line at the till.
Get here early if you want a seat. Take-away specials are good value and tasty with coronation chicken on flatbread with salad a fine choice.
For those with bigger bellies there is the option for soup and a sandwich/roll/flatbread.
Coffee is a Java Republic machine in through the door.
