Lovely place. Nice staff on the day! Read some reviews before going, not really sure what the one starrers saw or experienced but from visiting, looks as if they called to the wrong place. Maybe called to one of the nearby homes instead of the cafe and got bad service as a result? 😜 Eitherway, great service, polite staff, clean toilets, good options both for drinks, pastries and desserts. Reasonably priced too, I’d have expected higher pricing over the unique options available. Thankfully sense prevailed with pricing and you can get affordable, good quality food and well brewed drinks

Cafe Depeche is a great place to meet up with friends or a partner. There is a little room in the back to cuddle up and chat in. They play Depeche Mode all day. So, if you love Depeche music this is the place for you. Their mouth watering chocolates play with your visual senses and tongue. Your eyes lure you into a further investigation of what they offer. Then your tongue betrays your self discipline. You may as well kiss your diet good-bye. Their chocolate treats really are amazing.

They'll make me a decaff iced Americano even when it's cold and rainy. And it's great 👌👌 I'm also in love with the cannolis! I get my friend tiramisu there, and he's eaten 3 in one sitting so I guess their fantastic too. We constantly go out of our way to get coffee here, and I can't recommend it enough. Their poke bowls are worth mentioning, so good and incredibly especially for the price.

Have gone many times over the years, like the vibe, quirky enough place but went recently and got a white mocha which was lukewarm so brought it back and told the batista... so she took the lid off and put the steamer into the cup to reheat it which was a bit bizarre 😅😅

Went here once and will definitely be returning again in the future. It's a cool small little Cafe that serves amazing coffee and treats. I can't remember if they serve sandwiches and stuff but they might do. It's a bit out of town and is one for those hidden gems many people will probably never visit due to its location. A fantastic Cafe and probably one of the best cork has to offer.

Good coffee. Had a Caramel Chai Latte which was delicious. It's a very tiny spot though...very difficult to find seating for a group and you often end up sitting very close to strangers

Great coffee, friendly staff and owner. My espresso arrived with a glass of water without asking, brilliant. Even better, it's now open on Sundays. On entering this rambling, cosy cafe you can tell it is a place you will want to come back to. Tempting foods grab your attention immediately, from pulled pork baps to scones as the friendly owner greets you with a hello. A range of speciality teas are on offer as well as hot chocolate and the usual coffee offerings. The walls are decorated with Depeche Mode album covers and there are plenty of benches for small groups or seats for the loners.

Humphrey and Erin are brilliant purveyors of yummy, filling, savouries and decadent sweet pastries and tiny deserts. I usually order my mixed pastry plates here. I shall drive all the way from the other side of town, and when collecting, they are steaming hot fresh and UNBELIEVABLY addictive. Intimate little place, good music, for those moments you need to sit and take a breath, relax and give body chance to catch up with your soul.

My absolute favorite cafe in the whole world. I would go there regularly for a specialty mochas, lattes and chais while on my semester abroad. I'm really going to miss it and I can't recommend it highly enough. Every single thing I've gotten there has been good, and I've gotten just about everything on the menu!

Lancaster Quay Depeche: The best coffee shop in Cork. Bold statement? Probably. But that's the sort of definition that this place inspires. The coffee is excellent, it's never too crowded, and the staff beyond fantastic. It's the kind of place where you can go in for six months and never have to order more than five times after the first week because they practically make a point of learning the name and drink of everyone who comes in more than twice. There are some good coffee shops in Cork, but nothing quite like this one!

Sways very expensive for sweetened coffees but surprisingly good value on food. It's all delicious, and if you're into the exclusively Depeche Mode-themed soundtrack and art, you'll find it cozy enough. Sweet treats are a speciality here, tied up with sister shop Mode Chocolates down the road. (Yes, "Depeche"/"Mode", very clever)

Really unique café with a bafflingly strict Depeche Mode theme - I came for the coffee, stayed for the giant communal table in a secluded back room, and returned because the staff and atmosphere are so rare and beautiful in a busy city. I feel like this spot is the realisation of a dream the owners/founders had, and it roused a supportive, nurturing side of me I can only express through providing them with my continuous custom. Highly recommended, if you're taking western road towards UCC, or if you're in the area to visit the Kino, Records and Relics or for a stroll along one of the most scenic sections of the river Lee.
