I go here once or twice a week. Their menu is great: classic brunch stuff. also salads and sandwiches. The management and staff are lovely too. The cafe decor is old-style, comfy and, for the times we're living in, well ventilated. Highly recommended.

De Calf is a very nice restaurant to eat lunch or breakfast or even just have a coffee and cake. It is hidden inside TK Max shopping just off Corn Market in Cork City. They have options for vegitarians, vegans and non vegan. Their prices are quite good in comparison to other restaurants in Cork City. This is the perfect restaurant for a budget breakfast or lunch and/or tea and coffee. They provide good quality food also and the portions are generous. You don't leave there hungry at a very good price. The staff there are very nice. There are managers there both with blond hair but are so so nice they are extremely friendly and always welcoming. They provide top quality service and always have your requests at the heart of their service. Thank you guys.

This is a great little cafe in the same shopping arcade as TK Maxx. It does a lot right like the lighting is perfect, the coffee is very smooth and drinkable, and in general the ambiance is pleasant. The staff are usually really nice and friendly but unfortunately not today. It felt like I was bothering the member of staff with my order but she may have just been having a bad day. I think the coffee is better here than any of the pubs in the area which is what brings me back. I haven't sampled the food so I can't comment. Just updating this review to a 4star and really want to take the time to compliment the service I received at this cafe today. A girl from Louisiana, if I recall correctly, took my order with such a pleasant attitude. She deserves a mention (and raise) as does the tall bespectacled gent who made my coffee. The food was palpably fresh and the ambience in this cafe is great. You won't find the likes of it in chains like Starbucks or Costa... heartily recommend and will return.

Had the most delicious cheesecake with whipped cream and fresh fruits. Also had a wonderful coffee too. Lovely place. The staff are very friendly, and the coffee shop is wonderful. Definitely recommend it.

I waited 10 minutes for an amaericano. When I asked the waitress where it was she was so rude. When it was ready she threw it on the table in a huff. The manager tried to fix it and apologise for the staff but the damage was done. I used to go here a lot but it's changed. I'd go here again but only if there is nothing else available

Nice interior and food but the coffee was lacking. I ordered a double espresso and received what looked, and tasted, like a small amount of filter coffee in the bottom of a large cup. There was no crema and it tasted bitter.

Beautiful Cafe. Lovely pleasant staff . Great ambience and I love the simple things like tea and scones. Perfect. I go there as often as I can but most Saturdays. One of the best in the City for me.!!
