J. C.This is one of my favourite spots in the city. Their mushroom soup is the best I've had. Staff are so friendly and brilliant at what they do. The atmosphere here is always calming and comfortable. Cannot recommend enough.
p. b.Very cosy place, definitely recommended. Staff was kind and sandwiches were great. I only wish to suggest to the staff to shut the main entrance as I went in this November for a lunch, and cold air wasn't that pleasant while eating. However, still I really enjoyed the place.
E. C.Probably my own fault. I sat outside to eat my scrambled eggs, stone cold half way through. The pot of tea was grand though. Usually I sit inside and I would rate it 5 stars. Next time.
D. S.Cute little cafe, with a French flair. Seems as if from another time.... also fits in the series "decay and grandezza". They had difficulty sourcing craftspeople to fix the paint on the beautiful ceiling. Food freyhly made and good, if a bit too salty for my taste

Also though, the loveliest staff and just a beautiful little spot, particular of the old pavilion so you've got beautiful high ceilings with for-sale art on the walls to whisk you away into a daydream whilst you try not to devour your cake. Great place to meet friends, or take family, or go on a date. Protip- try the Tunisian orange cake and black coffee. Heaven!

Very good value for money. The food is fresh and home-made, it was delicious. The staff is friendly which only enhances the whole experience.

P. S.Artsy little café in a side street of the historic centre of Cork. Very good chai latte and delicious Spiced beef (from a non-Cork visitor perspective). Yet need to up their game in terms of service, waters were overwhelmed with a full café on Sunday afternoon.
