These people really know their coffee and it shows. They are happy to answer questions and engage about the various beans they’re using, and the coffee they offer is varied and delicious; very well curated. One of the best coffee shops I’ve been to, anywhere.

Highly recommended! I spent a lot of my student years purchasing numerous coffees from this lovely cafe. The coffee is full in flavour and is always severed at the perfect temperature. The latte art is impressive and the staff are super friendly. Take a seat by the window and enjoy your coffee while viewing the bustling streets and beautiful Holy Trinity Church across the river.

Filter is one of the oldest speciality coffee shops in Cork. Eoin was the first to open up shop as a speciality coffee shop. He uses 3FE coffee and has an assortment of teas to choose from in shop. They have a lovely selection of cakes and other sweets to choose from at their hatch. It is wheelchair accessible. There's wheelchair accessible parking nearby. Good coffee shops are few and far between in Cork city. It's so easy to get a mediocre cup of coffee. Filter however makes an effort and this shows in the quality of its coffee. The shop relies on Badger&Dodo coffee and us careful about how it prepares its coffee. The staff actually seem to care about whether they produce something you'll enjoy. If I was to make any complaint it's the fact the shop's seating us severely limited. Some might say it adds to the charm with seating at such a premium!

I regret not stopping in this coffee shop sooner !! Staff were so helpful and friendly the bariasta took time explaining the different types of coffee beans he sold and what would suit my taste buds . They sell freshly ground coffee so I was able to enjoy the coffee at home. Nice and cosy ,they also serve takeaway coffee in biodegradable cups . Highly recommend a visit.

This location of Fliter is really meant for a quick hop in hop out. There is space to sit and chill. The community board is loaded with a wealth of information about upcoming events and classes. They do make their own baked goods. So, you are gaurenteed freshness. Freshness that is made locally with local products. The baristas are talented at making latte art. They host locally roasted coffee beans. The location is good for a look at the church and river lee.

This is my third location to drink coffee in Cork and it is the only one that makes good coffee. Drinked one at the Hotel Imperial which is horrible, way to bitter, and the second Cafe Nero, which was okish. Small place Filter but it has a charm in its simplity.
