Cute place and really tasty food! Perfect to drink a tea/coffee and have lunch. The service is really nice and work really fast. Finally I have to add that the prices are just amazing.
Really impressed by this place. I felt in love.

Very charming cafe. Gorgeous food and very friendly staff that were very attentive and seemed to really enjoy their job. So refreshing to experience excellent service. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this little gem. ☕🍽️🍳🥓🥪🫐

Brilliant little find!! Staff were so friendly and the sandwiches were excellent.. didn't try them but the selection of cakes and buns looked class! Perfect spot for a hearty lunch!!

What a lovely place. Small and friendly. Good choice of cakes ... They all look yummy. And they even included a vegan and a gluten free option.

Friendliest staff, wonderful food, especially dessert. We have been coming here for 4 years on holiday, this is our first visit since covid, delighted that the blueberry has survived and, what's more, kept all of its charm.

We went to the Blueberry Team Room three times while in Donegal. The food, service and staff were amazing. The scone, jam and cream are amazing. We loved the quaint atmosphere and getting to see locals. We highly recommend this place. Kid friendly as well.

Fabulous, quirky and very friendly spot in the heart of Donegal town. Delicious food, huge portions, gorgeous homemade brown bread and a selection of scones, brownies and other homebakes. I had the Special Scramble and my husband had the Donegal Fry and both were fab. My coffee was topped up during breakfast and my husband was offered a hot sup to his pot of tea too. The staff were chatty and smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Great value for money and we bought a loaf of their scrumptious brown bread to bring home with us.

Have been here twice during our stay in Donegal Town. Lovely breakfast and great staff. There was a mistake with my order causing a long wait, but they were really apologetic and gave me my breakfast free of charge. Would recommend. Thanks again.

Good quiche. Quick and friendly service!

FANTASTIC location, very very very friendly and helpful staff, and fabulous food. The absolute BEST dessert I’ve ever had in my life, and a lunch at great value. 10/10.

A busy yet brilliant cafe. The food was very tasty and you were able to mingle with some of the locals.
I was jealous of how the staff knew the names of some of the patrons and vice versa.
A filling breakfast to continue our day of travelling with staff that had you feel welcomed from the moment you stepped inside.

I recently visited this charming café for a morning coffee and breakfast, and I was thoroughly impressed. I opted for the mini Donegal fry paired with a flat white. The meal included toast, potatoes, bacon, eggs, and sausages, all of which were absolutely delicious. The team did a wonderful job preparing my order, and the service was exceptional.
If you find yourself in Donegal, I highly recommend stopping by this café for a quick bite. It’s a cozy spot with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. In addition to their excellent breakfast options, they offer a delightful variety of cakes and scones. Be sure to give them a try. Thank you to the entire team for a fantastic experience!

An authentic tea room with some great scrumptious selection of cakes and pastries. The quiche and sandwich was delicious. The staff were very friendly and quite welcoming. The place was buzzing with some great energy.

Absolutely delighted by my experience at this place! The food is delicious. Everything was incredible. The staffs are very friendly what added to the overall positive ambiance, and the desserts were nothing short of incredible. A must-visit for anyone seeking an amazing dining experience!

Stopped here for breakfast today and I was very impressed. Small but comfortable and so busy. Food was lovely but the excellent staff have to be commended. Being offered a top up on my coffee without having to ask is a rare thing in Ireland. Well done Blueberry tea room

First time coming here and we will definitely be back! Such a lovely place and the food was fantastic. We were there mid morning on a Saturday. Had the Donegal Breakfast fry and still found room for dessert - which were divine. Busy but had no problem getting seated. No matter how busy it got, staff were so friendly. Found it quite accessible as someone who relies on a mobility stick, although the toilets are upstairs.

Noticed that it very busy inside but could make out how lovely it was. Good job that we opted to sit outside where there were a few tables. Thoroughly enjoyed taking in the pleasures of the town. Had lattes and lovely cake. PS there are so many to choose from. The staff were so nice and welcoming too.

Nice small and cozy cafe. Amazing staff <3, nice lights and delicious pastries n foods ;)
Inside and outside seating and you can order from the outside
Oh and tell that one guy with the beard and glasses that I like his haircut :3

Chloe was so kind and attentive. Lots of kids toys and a high chair with a book so we were actually able to sit and enjoy our meal! Cream of broccoli soup and sandwich combo was delicious. The scones were great, and the cream was delicious. Chef owned- you could tell! Fair prices! Would recommend! Outdoor seating with partial view of the castle.

Great place, the safest and tastiest bet when in Donegal looking for a coffee and biscuit. Sweets are crazy good, coffee is good as well and the place itself has a great atmosphere. Good breakfast (even though I would recommend best to go for a treat after lunch). Waiters are really nice.

We went for a holiday in Donegal and stumble into this wonderful Cafe. The cakes are to die for. The service is really excellent and accomodating.

I would queue all day just to be able to eat here. I've been coming to the blueberry for over 10 years and it never disappoints. Delicious food and such friendly staff.
Can never resist getting a sweet treat for the road.

Located right across the street from The Donegal Castle, this place served an excellent breakfast and was very inexpensive for the high-quality food. The stuffed French toast with nutella was out of this world, and their pastries, cakes and coffees were all top-notch. The staff was courteous, and the owner was happy and pleasant. If you're looking for breakfast in Donegal, this is my top pick.

Some of the best fresh and home baked goods I have ever eaten!! The chocolate chip cookie was so good and the goat cheese on bread with salad was mouth watering. I will miss not being able to eat this often as I travel back home! Highly recommend.

The staff are such a credit to this place, really lovely friendly bunch of people! My son had a lovely chocolate cake. Food is delicious and reasonably priced, huge portions. Great lively atmosphere. We will definitely be stopping here again next time we're passing through Donegal. Thanks for a lovely experience!

Speedy and friendly service from Nora and all the staff, despite dining with a large group. Excellent quiche, and good portion sizes. Nothing left behind on our plates throughout the group.

Wonderful place. Great range of food and drinks for nice prices. First time I've ever tried bread pudding and theirs is quite nice! Staff are really friendly but not in an overbearing way, quick service.
Unfortunately it suffers from a lack of space, it's hard for more than one person to stand without staff or customers struggling to get past you.
Great song choices on the radio too.
Would visit again

Excellent. Service was fantastic as is the food. Reasonably priced as well.

We always visit the Blueberry when we come to Donegal and this place is a true gem! I would give more stars if I could. The food is absolutely amazing! You will not find a better meal anywhere else! All the food is fresh, tasty, good portion sizes and great variety. The half club and soup is a real treat. Today I had Butternut squash and coconut soup, this was the special and it truly was special. Such amazing flavours combined just perfectly. Do not miss out on the Blueberry if you visit Donegal Town!
It's always very busy here but the staff do a great job at getting people in and out without making you feel rushed. They are so friendly and take great care of you. Thank you Blueberry for many lovely meals!

Seats were poorly arranged continuously being hit by staff walking passed. However, the food was delicious. And not too dear.

I was a bit disappointed, I had seen photos and reviews online and was really looking forward to having breakfast before starting my Wild Atlantic Way heading north. The outside and inside are very pretty, but my sausage 'n bacon bap was disappointing - the bacon and sausage had obviously been cooked much earlier so the bacon was tough and the sausage cool. It was edible but just disappointing. The service was very good, lovely friendly young ladies. Maybe I was unlucky with my choice.

Always the best of food and service and worth a visit for breakfast or dinners. A friendly, efficient staff always greeting with a smile and a chat.

Stayed in Car park 4 in motorhome ate Chinese that night but wanted to have a nice breakfast before leaving! I had the French toast 😋 very indulgent and my partner had the full breakfast....it was fantastic and it was very hard to leave the fantastic array of sweet treats on the way out!!

This is a cozy spot and perfect place to eat and visit. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. They also have gluten free bread.

Dear reader,
I can't promise that the food you'll have will be of great quality, but I can say that the one I had was really good.
There was one thing I thoroughly enjoyed though and that was the Apple Cobbler! Simply amazing!

The food here is first class and so tasty. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much bother. They really care for their customers.

Menu said steak with Irish champ, no champ appeared only mashed potato which was nice actually but not what I was expecting. I think the steak was roast beef but was nice..

A welcoming and homely cafe. Breakfast, lunch and larger meals available. Great range of homemade cakes, traybakes, scones and desserts.
Staff are friendly and efficient.
Coffee is good, and at breakfast you have the option of a cup of filter coffee.

Best hot chocolate I've ever had and delicious tray bakes. Was seated and served quickly as well.

We had the pleasure of having lunch in The Blueberry yesterday, we were able to take our terrier in with us and the staff brought a bowl of chicken for him too.
We had soup with a sandwich and fries, all delicious, the teapot was filled twice and although the place was buzzing no one rushed us out.
Staff were lovely, great hospitality, great food and we will be back.

Was lost in Donegal town centre for a spot to eat, Google Maps said this was the spot. Long queues out the front were a good sign. Called twice in 24 hours, superb spot. Great variety ranging from Mediterranean flatbread (twas great) to chocolate steam cake. When I'm back, it's definitely being revisited.

Delish food. Lovely staff. Beautiful town.
