If you go there and see the menu in my opnion the best deal is (bru 28), because you can have one starter, one main dish and one desert just for 28euros each person.
I really had a good time there.
S. R.Bru is not a gourmet restaurant, but whenever I went there in the course of over 10 years I got a good plate of food. Their healthy option menu is a fantastic idea, tastes great and you never get that unwell feeling, that can happen after enjoying food with too much cream and butter. Also personnel is very well trained and super friendly
S. l.I went there several Times. Tried différents dishes, Irish food is good. Just i went there to try some maki. They did not use the Real sticky sushi rice that day. It was kind of risotto. The worst maki in my life (i tried différents in all around the world) and i was really shocked.They maybe though that their customer wont notice it . I LOVE food and that expérience was the worst in bru.

This is a real gem of a place, it's perfect at all times of day for a causal or a more formal meal.
There is an outdoor seated area which in summer is lovely but inside is where its at.
It's literally connected to a huge multistory carpark so no issue getting into the place.
The food is fantastic!! There's even a slimming world menu just ask for one!
There's a nice cocktail bar and small dance floor upstairs, (it's a perfect place for pre drinks) before hitting a night club.
It's a fantastic place for birthdays and have no issues catering to big groups.

O. M.I went here last Sunday for a meal and a few drinks for my sister's birthday, we sat outside in the sunshine next to the river Boyne. The inside is nice and spacious. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and we were seen to and served fairly quickly
M. H.Nice food, service a bit slow. Beverage order seems to be forgotten until food arrives. The beverage would be nice to drink while waiting for the food instead of sitting with just a napkin knife and fork in front of you. Staff are very pleasant and courteous.

Kinda the definition of middle of the road as a place. Bonus points, it does a Slimming World aligned menu, and the wife is happy with it.

C. M.Bru Bar & Bistro Drogheda presents an image that is more show than shine.
An attempt has been made to make the interior trendy and minimalist but it ultimately comes across as sparse. The atmosphere was non-existent, but to be fair we were there on a Tuesday evening, so, pinch of salt.
The food is just about par for the course, and overpriced as a result. I had the spicy chicken wings to start, chicken enchilada with sweet potato fries and side salad as a main followed by the chocolate brownie.
The wings were alright, though you could tell the meat was quite dry. The enchilada tasted more of smoke than anything else, but when paired with the salad, it worked quite well I thought. The brownie was good (hard to get that wrong though).
The staff were friendly and the service was great.
All in all, Bru Bar & Bistro is overpriced for what you get. There are many, many better places to go in Drogheda if you're looking for a decent bite (I recommend The Black Bull, best wings I've ever had).

G.I love brú its location is perfect for after shopping in town the staff are so kind and give you plenty of time to order the menu changes but I'd recommend the bbq wings there always nice great place to bring younger siblings as there is usually a face painting or craft section for smaller kids my younger brother has lots of drawings he's taken home from brú.

I had the goats cheese salad starter with an unusual but VERY tasty raspberry dressing, followed the sole special which really does melt in your mouth.
We were really delighted to find Bru and will definitely be back when we are next in Drogheda. Keep up the good work!

K. G.Just recently had a 3 course meal here. The staff are very attentive and friendly, the drinks are good and the food is a strong OK. I got chicken wings - the sauce on them was delicious but I felt they were a bit soggy.
The mains I got was chicken supreme with mash and carrots. It was quite bland and not very hot. The dessert was a melody of desserts, this course shocked me quite a bit. I know fancy restaurants give you tiny portions but these portions were teeny tiny! Almost the size of a sweet. As I have a major sweet tooth, I wasn't too pleased with this. Overall we had a good night, I probably won't be running back to bru anytime soon though.
