Tried this establishment for the first time. Every time I would pass I would see a full carpark. This prompted me to see what the fuss was about! By God did it exceed my expectations! Massive portions. Ordered the catch of the day to receive not one fillet of hake but two!

I had often passed by Dooleys but because I was always working I could never quite manage to stop. But Saturday past was an ideal opportunity for me to put all that right. We, my wife, son and his partner stopped for lunch. Although we didn’t have a reservation we were accommodated without any fuss and were ushered through to our table straight away. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we appreciated the great lengths they went to in order to make us feel comfortable and safe in these strange days. Our lunch was very good indeed. All of us ordered something different from each other and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The quantities were ideal and the quality was really good too. The service was very good, attentive without being overbearing which is just the way we like it. Our whole experience of Dooleys was very positive indeed and the price was very reasonable for a fantastic Saturday lunch. We will return again soon and will be recommending that all our friends visit too.

Lovely place. We were en route to the North handy stopover. Cant fault the place. Spotless. Only gripe is a slice of veg quiche and a few chips bit steep at 11€. The chicken curry my husband had was better value at 15€, filled him up.

Passed many times over the years and often wondered what it was like here. Stopped for the first time recently en route to Donegal and found the staff friendly and helpful, the food tasty and plentiful, the seating comfortable and the atmosphere relaxing. The only problem was being sleepy after a great meal when we had t continue our journey! Highly recommend stopping here!

A nice place to stop. Me better half wasn't happy with her salad (too much lettuce..filler) I had Caesar salad. I was a bit disappointed in it. In other words I've had better else where. The setting is great! A good atmosphere about the place. And for me it was the Irish Coffee that saved the day. Lovely stuff.

Don't be afraid of the "carvery" if offered. It means a lovely lunch buffet. Service is friendly and prompt. Nice variety of hot and cold beverages are available. Dessert menu is nicely varied. Cheers!

Just had the only gluten free option for starter which was the potato skins. At my request they went easy on the chorizo's this time. Was yummy. For mains I had the fillet steak which was cooked perfectly, couldn't have the chips so opted for the garlic potatoes, freshly cooked on this occassion makes all the difference. Absolutely delicious. As a diagnosed celiac, it can be difficult to find restaurants around the Ardee area but have eaten here at least 6 times and never been ill once so my compliments to the staff. Keep it up, looking forward to coming again soon.
