Reviews of Art Cafe Dublin
Such a lovely space and staff! It was slow when I went in for lunch on a Friday. The food was all made fresh and affordable. The chef came out to let me know that she was almost done making the soup, and that it was delicious - it was! Wifi is fast enough to get work done. Exposed brick, large windows with natural light and the whole place rumbles whenever a train passes overhead too, which I thought was a nice aesthetic.
nice café, decent breakfast (although I've had better, at a similar price). nice selection of books to read while you wait for your order! they don't mind if you swap a book of your own with something on the shelf, which is an interesting concept - I hate picking up a book and putting it down a chapter later 😁
Lovely place to have breakfast or just a cup of coffee.
You have some books available to read and also handmade drawings to buy.
Traditional Irish breakfast was very good.
Great place to grab breakfast or simply enjoy a cup of coffee. Relaxed atmosphere, free wifi. Could easily spend an afternoon with a good book. Live music in the evening
It looked attracting. It has somewhat charm but plastic flowers at the table as deco makes me think of funeral. Definitely can’t appreciate it.
I had a scone and tea irish breakfast. Scone was correct good but served with jam and butter in samples like on the plane etc. Very average.
It is not what you want when you are eating out.
Stuff is OK, casual, not bad, but not really nice at the same time. This place could be a real treasure but sadly it is not. Shame.
Pleasantly surprised with the 'mega full Irish breakfast' affordable and value for money. The only downsides were the tea pot we were given was covered in dust, and the chair I was sitting on was very creaky
The place has a nice style and friendly staff, I see no reason why this place shouldn't be a secret gem of the city centre with one or two minor adjustments.
Will be returning for sure
Cute place, nice place to sit and have a chat. The double bacon, cheddar and egg sandwich was tasty. But coffee wasn’t great and my chai latte came out cold and had to be reheated.
Small cosy Cafe with really affordable sandwiches. I would recommend the sandwich with bacon egg and cheese. Coffee wasn't so great, it was too bitter for my taste.
Service is fast and efficient but friendliness could be improved (a smile goes a long way!)
The avocado sandwiches were amazing and the vibe is nice
Never thought that something located on a busy street with an elevated railway nearby could be so cozy. Or perhaps the unfriendly location gives it a specifically warm feeling. Nice decorations, pleasant music, good food and coffee, friendly staff. Definitely worth 5 stars.
We had the best coffee in Dublin here. Art work alone would make it worth a visit. Best of all is the music.
Surprisingly good! We germans make better sausages, but you just do not know it better😀
The egg was perfect!
A very cosy place where to shelter on a rainy day and enjoy some sweet treats. I loved the good music and the friendly (more like family) staff.
Lovely food, had a breakfast, staff very polite, good prices, good size servings
Food was ok but absolutely no masks or visors at the very least worn by any member of staff. Considering its the middle of a pandemic in the worst affected area of Ireland I would've have imagined more health & safety. The staff didn't seem to have a problem leaning in quite close to place food on table etc while not having any ppe on.
Proper Irish breakfast. Lovely people. Put me in a good mood
Best café in Dublin!
Fair prices, excellent food and coffee!
Got a mini Irish breakfast. It was my first one, I'm from mainland Europe, so bear with me there. 'Mini' means you choose three things, and I chose beans, sausage and a hash brown. You always get toasts, and there's butter and jam on the table. The sausage was very salty, still good, but after a while it got a bit overbearing. I loved the beans, less so the sauce. The hash brown was not bad at all. It was, all in all, way too heavy-sitting on my stomach, but I guess it's a standard Irish breakfast.
The staff was nice enough, maybe not entirely awake, but I get that. There was no problem at all with the service.
Very good irish Breakfast ! Good food, good mood ;)
Lovely shop. Staff are always very welcoming

Great service and perfect food. Beautiful paintings and decor, feels like home!
Lovely ambience. Loved the paintings and small things kept here and there. Food was good too. Not many options for Vegetarians though and none for vegan. Prices are easy on pocket.
The only reason I am not giving this place 1 star is the fact that when I left after waiting an hour and a half for my food, ( which never showed up, it's like they forgot to put my order in), they didn't charge me for the tea I also ordered. I'm sad to write this because I've eaten here before and the food is great and affordable, the service needs some work though.
Get the Mega, just get it!
Delicious and massive.
Interestingly decorated, lots of art on show on the walls.
It's a place your told about more than stumble across,
It's tucked in almost undernesth a railway bridge but that adds to its charm.
If your their for breakfast as I've been a few times, fast from the night before and take on the mega.
The sense of accomplishment after finishing one of unreal.
Great spot.

Great spot, great food, great staff, great music, great atmosphere. Enjoy it you will.
Goes most mornings for my breakfast staff is wonderful
Excellent. very good and great service
Wonderful little place, we went for breakfast twice in two days. Great food for fantastic prices, and they are really good about dealing with Gluten Free restrictions (they have gluten free deserts and toast available).
The cheapest quality breakfast you'll find in Dublin. The 'Traditional Irish' comes with spicy white and black pudding, creamy sausages and a filter coffee that will cure the strongest of hangovers. Highly recommended.
An unsuspecting little cafe, but the employees are so nice and the coffee was delicious! I keep meaning to stop in for breakfast but I’m sure it’s great as well!
The kitchen got my order wrong. French waitress seemed disinterested. Toast and eggs were barely cooked also. Might have caught them on a busy day in fairness.
Really nice food and coffee. Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere.
I truly loved the Art Cafe, it's an amazing place, great music and a great staff, I felt very comfortable, it became one of my favourite places in Dublin
The best coffee I had sincemy arrival in Ireland. The simple Americano was Great. The food is good too and the staff is lovely.
We had 2 mega breakfasts. Food was great but service was slow and staff could be doing with smiling every now and then
Nice Cafe with good service although they advertise things they don't have. In my case I ordered the benedict eggs from the board outside which they didn't have that day.
It is a great place they allowed me to eat my gluten free cake because they had not have one at that time.
Lovely fresh tasty breakfast! Great coffee and lovely laid back ambience. Very good value too!
Friendly cafe and they were nice to my dog. Even though it's right in the centre of Dublin, it's good value in pleasant surroundings.
Very cosy and pretty café, perfect for a warm tea and with good breakfast and food options too.
I went a few time and I think I will come back because is nice and cozy, the Irish breakfast is good and the black coffe too, the service is polite and frendly and the price is right.
Perfect place for a casual meeting. They are serving light breakfast and lunch aswell which is freshly prepared. Ambiance is amazing.
Great little place, perfect for a meet up and coffee, lovely food and staff.
Very cozy, the veggie curry was delicious and waitress was a sweetheart. Loved it
Fantastic. Simultaneously the best and cheapest irish breakfast I've seen on the island. Cosy and great staff.
Really nice. Love the fact they serve breakfast until 2.30.
Great spot, great food, great staff, great music, great atmosphere. Enjoy it you will.
Great breakfast, fantastic lunch kind waiting staff, can recommend the breakfast bab and the mozzarella and spinach omelet.
Lovely place for a nice breakfast. Friendly staff and good prices.
Great location for Connolly station (3 minutes away). Very cute on the inside. Very reasonably priced food
Lovely shop. Staff are always very welcoming
Very reasonably prices, proper homemade style breakfast meals and friendly service. Don't miss it!
Reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! Plus the cute decor makes for the perfect breakfast spot!
Friendly workers and excellent breakfast. Moreover a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended
Relaxed, reasonably priced little cafe that had a certain charm to it that just about makes up for the pretty woeful service.
Eating here is delightful. When having the chance I come here for a delicious breakfast. Nice staff
Best coffee in town. Good food. Money saver!!! Paintings exibitions every day. Feeling like at home!!
Great food, great location, wait staff are more interested in looking at their phones than taking care of customers.
Small, quiet, all day breakfast. Loved the kathakali photographs on the walls
Didn't really feel that the food was very special here.
Coffee was quite good though.
Went for breakfast and was not disappointed. Full Irish was delicious.
Great Value, tasty food, fast and friendly service. A real find and I will be back again!!!
2nd best Avacado toast in Dublin, but its a lovely place with lovely staff
Love the food
Great and cheap breakfast. We loved it! Allways again!
Good breakfast, friendly staff and just a good vibe all around
Nice bar, nice live music, and good food. Not far from Luas stop and the center of the city.
Great place! The food is really good and the place is warm cozy and inviting!
Goes most mornings for my breakfast staff is wonderful
Great atmosphere and lovely food for decent prices. Can't ask more.
Good food, nice location.
Fruits with the granola would be great!
A nice place for a breakfast. Reasonable price and friendly people.
A lovely out of the way place for travellers and locals alike. Fine soups, wraps and Pizzas served.
Delicious food and one of the best coffees I've had in years.
Food was good, place was clean, staff where friendly and price very reasonable
Nice atmosphere and relatively cheap prices.
Food is ok, no more.
Lovely place with nice food and great music every once in a while.
Chips were nice, but fish was bland.

Lack of vegan options, great music and tea. Train noise (really close).

The Best n the cheapest breakfast in Dublin Centre
Affordable and nice. Friendly staff with fast service.
Nice breakfast with many options to choose from
Great breakfast options, decent prices
Cheap and cheerful. But where the youngsters hang out.
A bit shabby. For "Art cafe" could be more artistic in my view
Nice and cozy and with good music, recommended

Lovely wee place. Staff very accomodating, was able to put together a glutenfree and plantbased brekkie with no fuss :-) They will even mention stuff is cooked in butter so that you can opt out of that!!

Nos hospedabamos al lado y todos los días desayunamos aquí. Fue un gran acierto. Buena comida y trato agradable.
Very good breakfast and sandwich! The girls are super friendly :)
Perfect for breakfast. Share a maxi Irish breakfast as a couple and add some pastries, like cheesecake. Everything is truly homemade - without ready-made preparations.
Two days, two mega Irish to start a great day, very good breakfast, coffee too bitter for my taste and a smile wouldn't be too much
Very charming and cozy place with a wide variety of "Irish-style" breakfasts, and at reasonable prices. I went on a Saturday around nine in the morning and it was almost empty, I went again on Sunday at the same time and it was full.
Nice little cafe with friendly service. The breakfast was very tasty. I had the mega Irish breakfast and was super full. I can only recommend it.
(Translated) Nice place to enjoy the best Irish breakfast in Dublin, all at a very, very competent price. The staff is a charm, always with a smile on their mouth ^ _ ^

Simpático local en el que disfrutar del mejor desayuno irlandés de Dublín, todo ello a un precio muy, muy competente. El personal es un encanto, siempre con una sonrisa en la boca ^_^
A very typical Dublin cafe. They serve carefully hand-cooked meals.
They prepare handmade meals that big cities have forgotten.
Very cozy. Nice staff. Great breakfast. Always my pleasure!
great service and delicious food. nice atmosphere and I personally liked the music.
Small, cozy and really nicely decorated. The service is very friendly and the scones are really incredibly tasty!
Nice simple food and drink place. The Irish breakfast is excellent and excellent value for money.
Expensive, not great food and the service was so hungover that she would have preferred to drink the coffee herself.
Nice place
Average prices for Dublin
