Really cool décor, even the waiters and waitresses match the theme of the café. Great scones and the tea pots are adorable! The service is fab, really friendly staff. Payment is super easy, you can use your card to tap on an iPad which is cool. Definitely recommend and they have seating outside for those sunny days.

Found this lovely little gem whilst visiting our family. Really friendly, lovely relaxed atmosphere and to top it the food was excellent. We had soup of the day, falafal in a wrap with salad toasted and a ham sandwich with salad and crisps. Lovely and fresh and plenty of it. What makes it even better money is donated to charity. Will definately be going back.

Relaxed place for quiet lunch or chat over tea or coffee. Old world ambience is very comfortable the staff are friendly and attentive. The selection of hot dishes and sandwiches is nothing fancy, just good wholesome and reasonably priced.

This is probably the only coffee shop in Dun Laoghaire worthy of 5 stars. Cosy decor, great food & drinks, and it does everything with a conscience! Seriously, they have a remarkable history, check out the story on their website if interested. Despite all the aforementioned this place rarely seems busy, just one of the many mysteries of the town.

My current favourite coffee shop in Dun Laoghaire. They don't publicize that all profits go to very worthwhile charity. Friendly staff (though one has an occasional tendency to inflict his rap music on customers), great coffee, cakes and simple breakfasts

Wish I could give extra stars for ethos! This wonderful place on the Shaw's side of the street in Dun Laoghaire gives a nod to the old style tea rooms in decor, with a modern menu. The display of pastries and cakes are an ever changing delight to the taste buds. I chose a Viennese Finger which melted in the mouth, the way my Gran's shortbread did all those moons ago.
Each table has a small history as to how the tea rooms came to be, and to this day funds are sent to support an overseas charity for those who have contracted leprosy.
The staff are incredibly pleasant, you are treated as an individual, not a "cover", when they get to know you they remember your name and where you like to sit.
Maith thu!

So far have only tried their tea & scones - very tasty! Always good to have the option of cream with the jam.
