There's some very nostalgic about this bakery. The cakes remind me of the kylemore bakery cakes we got as kids. My kids LOVE the jam donuts. Great value and the staff are very friendly.

Very good "traditional" Dublin bakery. The cakes and buns are delicious but their batch bread is fantastic! The staff are very helpful and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. There's a cafe to one side and a walk in bakery to the other, I've only ever visited the bakery but it's a struggle to pass by everyday and not pop in for a coffee slice or a jam doughnut.

Ooooo! The coffee was amazing - I'm a coffee connoisseur 🤭. Today was my 1st visit and I will be back, for sure. Mid afternoon probably wasn't the best timing for cake selection. As her(Catherine's) bakery is next door, I was allowed to purchase my v fresh long Viennese (×3 is a special price! ) & enjoy that with my latte. Service, cleanliness & ambience 💯.

A great, no-frills cafe that has amazing food and baked goods. The cafe and bakery are separate, but we tried them both! Very affordable food and traditional Irish breakfast offerings. The cakes and pastries in the bakery were affordable and so light and delicious. If you’re looking for an affordable and scrumptious place to eat, this is your stop.

Great, friendly old school cafe. They make all their own bread which means its a cut above the usual greasy spoon. Really good breakfasts. It's a shame they stopped doing their pies though!

Adorable little breakfast place right in the middle of everything you'd want to see in Dublin. I recommend the full Irish breakfast, everything was delicious, just don't make the mistake some people did and order "English" breakfast tea.

It takes great willpower to walk past the tempting aromas coming from this well established bakery and not stop to buy something. The doughnuts are delicious and unbeatably priced at €2 for 5. Haven't had a chance to eat at the bakery cafe next door but aim to do so very soon.

Nice and cosy place right in the center of the Liberties, one of the heldest and most pictoresque historical area in Dublin, not far from Guinnes factory and St. Patrick's church. Lovely pastry and bread. I especially love the fries. Friendly staff as well. I would definitely reccomend it.

Very cozy cafe with the same food from their bakery. Since my last visit the cafe is under new ownership and once again associated with Catherine's Bakery. Service unfortunately has went down hill. The staff needs to be more focused and service industry professional. The food portions and quality have also slipped below the previous standard. They recently remodeled, however, there are still things like the back booth and wall that have noticeable damage. The new outdoor paint job looks amazing. The new owner also installed awnings so there is additional outdoor seating, which is welcomed addition.

My mum buys this bread in Nolans, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare. The family have been raving about it and I'm a big fan. I only learnt that the bakery is just ten minutes from where I live. Nice spot with fantastic bread. The five grain bread is particularly superb.

Best breakfast in town! We stayed in Dublin for 4 days and every day we had breakfast in a different place, by chance we came across this bar near the Guinness Storehouse and to our very pleasant surprise we enjoyed our best breakfast of the holiday! We took the vegetarian Irish breakfast which comes in a super abundant and really excellent dish and then also the pancakes with fruit and maple syrup, this dish is also abundant and delicious! The American coffee is also excellent. Don't be fooled by tourist places like Lemon Jelly, which unlike this one serves a miserable breakfast, go here and you will have superlative breakfasts!
