S. ..Great place for cakes.. special mention to have prepared a custom order within three hours of calling them, amazingly friendly staff here!!! Highly recommend the place though I felt the prices are slightly on the higher end.. Oh and you get desi chai here, which makes it even better!

Usually they require 48 hours notice for Rasmalai cake, but I called 24 hours before, luckily they had few orders on the same day so were able to facilitate my order, ( Recommend to order atlest 48 hours before).
The call was received with generosity and the passion for food/baking was certainly felt. cant say enough! Made our day very special. The 10/10 are just for the cake, everthing else is ++.
S. M.I ordered a custom red velvet cake for my wife's birthday and it was the exact replica of the picture, i randomly picked off google. Cake's bread was spongy, moist and overall cake tasted awesome. I'll definitely recommend this place for cakes

S. R.Been here a few times to sit in and take away. Shop looks wonderful. It is well presented and also kept clean. Customer service is very good too! I told the owner, out of conversation, that I came here from London. He looked after us well, and also gave us a chicken pastry on the house! The owner really likes to engage with his customers and does value them highly. It was a pleasure visiting!

M. A. H.Bought their velvet cake, iced latte and chai latte. The chai latter doesn’t have much flavour. Iced latte was average. Cake wasn’t as expected as the whipped cream had an odd taste. The staff was friendly though!
P. S.I ordered 2 cakes from chai cafe just a day before my friends' birthdays. They were really quick to respond to my requests and that too for a custom cake that other bakeries might have taken atleast 2 days advance order for. They even replicated the design exactly as I wanted and my god, the taste! Best cheesecake I have had in Dublin no doubt. The mango spongecake was really delicious too and they made it exactly as I wanted with Fresh Mangoes on top. Will definitely order from them again.
Recommended: Try their Rasmalai cake. You won't regret it!

The first one was a 'Rasmalai cake', which had a moist sponge, layered with pistachio flavoured fresh cream and yummy rasmalais on top.
The second one was a 'Frozen' themed cake and it was equally tasty with rich fluffy fresh cream and melt-in- mouth pineapple flavoured sponge. This cake was delivered to my home in a perfect condition as well.
Our friends also loved the flavor and presentation of the cakes. Thank you ChaiCafe Coffee N Confectionery for making our special days even more special with your treats!

P. S. T.I have missed the Indian roadside bakery pineapple cake for the past 5 years since being in Ireland. This cake was my mom’s fav and this is what I wanted to have for my b’day. After asking for recommendations on fb and calling up ALL the recommended cafes & bakeries in Dublin, I felt the kind and friendly lady at Chai Cafe knew exactly what I was talking about. I was hesitant thinking maybe the flavors won’t be the same but I decided to go all in, she was the only one who made me feel she knew what I was going on and on about; and so I became a bit greedy and ordered the 10” one 🤣🤣 They definitely did not disappoint! On opening the box, the cake SMELT divine ✨ on cutting it, it was SOFT and MOIST and had the perfect balance of cake, cream, cherries and pineapple. One bite and I was hooked, it was freakin’ DELICIOUS!! exactly the flavors I’ve grown up eating ♥️♥️ If you wish to have the traditional Indian bakery style pineapple cake, I would highly recommend Chai Cafe! I will definitely order another one, maybe the Indian version of Black Forest cake, and maybe the smaller size this time 🤣🤣

I was so impressed by the hospitality and service by the owners.The cafe had a family environment and great atmosphere.The food was very authentic and flavourful. We tried Haleem, Nihari, Naan and Biryani. We also had to try the famous chicken patties which were wonderful. Along with that we had brownies and chocolate cake and of course chai (tea) would definitely visit again. Thank you for such a good time Sana.Being a Karachite I would recommend to all and give 5 stars.
