Great shop and amazing coffee. I order one americano and a strawberry chocolate. Both were good. I also bought some sweets. There are places to sit outside. Lovely

Obviously professionals regarding Coffee and Tea. The Coffee is well made and a beautiful roast. I don't live near here, but try to always make a stop when passing. The shelf products aren't cheap, but it's quality. Occasionally they'll have discounts, but if all you want is a great Coffee at a fair price, this is it..

Amazing shop the minute you walk in. The service is amazing. The coffee is absolutely amazing. Definitely will come back. One off my bucket list. You should come. Coffee is very reasonable.

Great selection of coffee (beans and ground), tea (all flavours and origins) and related items such as cafetieres, teapots, strainers and cups/mugs. They do custom hampers and gift bouquets to order so you can pick what you want or give them a budget. Nice treat choices too including cookies and chocs. They do good coffee and treats to drink and there or take away.

I stopped by today for a hot chocolate to warm me up, it was yummy as usual!! I also had to stock up on my coffee and teas as I am running low. I love their selection of teas, I get their green, peppermint, magic and camomile, it's proper tea and not just dust so I love them 🤗. My hubby is mad into his coffee so there's always Eighty9 coffee in the house, they roast it themselves which is fabulous!! The staff are very friendly and helpful, always making good suggestions. I didn't buy any of the Christmas Santaa etc because I'll only eat them if they're in the house but will definitely be buying them next time, they will be lovely stocking fillers. Keep up the good work guys!!

Best tea and biscuits in the world plus amazing service. Have gone here more times than Google can count since a friend introduced me to them over the summer. Their Eilles Vita Orange tea and their Rooibos are the two blends that are my favourites. The team also recently put together a hamper for a coworker and just went above and beyond in getting it arranged and delivered. Visit and be delighted!

I was lucky enough to stumble upon this lovely cafe the other day and I realised that up until then I had missed a true hidden gem in south dublin. On top of the delicious and expertly made coffee and wide selections of teas, it was the service that blew me away, particularly a tall, blonde woman who was incredibly patient and kind towards me. 10/10 for service, Emily you have won the cafe a repeat customer!

I love this coffee shop for so many reasons: 1) The best coffee for miles around, and it's roasted on-site. You can even watch them roasting if you come on the right day! 2) The staff. I cannot say enough great things about the staff. Dylan, the head roaster, is never too busy to say hello, nerd out about the newest roasts, and encourage my latte art aspirations. And you can tell that the baristas are passionate about their craft. And experts at it. It's no wonder everyone knows it's the best coffee in town :). And with the stress of COVID and new lockdown regulations, they were as energetic and welcoming as ever when I visited this Saturday. Thank you to the entire JJ Darboven team for your unwavering awesomeness through these difficult COVID months (and of course, in general). Thank you for keeping our spirits and caffeine levels up.

We LOVE JJ Darboven’s coffee shop in Dun Laoghaire! We visit annually when we travel to Ireland from California, USA. Our daughter lives in Dalkey, and we enjoy the walk from there to Dun Laoghaire with coffee from JJ Darboven’s as our reward when we arrive. After our refueling with coffee and treats, we stock up on coffee beans and any other coffee accessories we might need. Last visit we bought a lovely French Press coffee pot that we brought back home to the states. The staff are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about their store items. We often depend on their expertise to recommend new coffee beans to try based on our individual preferences. Our walk back to Dalkey after our adventurous day out in Dun Laoghaire is always a few pounds heavier as we travel back with our pounds of coffee beans and other treasures in our packs. Thanks, JJ Darboven. Your business is a star on Main Street! Make that 5 stars, to be exact.

This is seriously the best coffee ever, and the staff, I have gotten to know well, I'm a regular. Plus you can buy a bag of the coffee you're drinking. Great shop for Christmas presents. I got five in there last year. And everyone loved their gifts, so check it out.

My favourite shop for tea. I got converted to Eilles tea in Germany so it's great to have an Eilles shop in Dublin. The prices are quite reasonable and there is a fabulous selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. They have an excellent range of gift items this Christmas including lots of German biscuits which you can't get elsewhere. Highly recommended.

Best coffee at a superb price! Staff is super accommodating. Try to get a chocolate dolphin while you can!

Graham & Darbovens are one of my favourite suppliers and compliment our business really well (artisan GF bakery) when we were starting off they cut thru a lot of the BS normally present in the coffee trade it seems and supplied us with a great quality and consistent solution, 10/10 so far Graham!
