I stopped by Kennedy's while on a little staycation in Clontarf with my Mum and I was so pleased to find vegan options on their lunch menu! But I was especially blown away by their selection of vegan treats- so much so that I tried both their dark chocolate and pear roll and their apple and cinnamon roll, both to die for. The atmosphere was cosy and laid-back and the staff absolutely lovely! I totally recommend Kennedy's for a nice meal or afternoon tea!

We love this place! Location is great and interior is clean and well presented. We had an amazing full Irish breakfast on Saturday. Food and coffee were really good! Staff are lovely, always smiling and they made us feel very welcome, especially the manager who attended us with great professionalism, attention and humor creating a comfortable and friendly energy. A big thank you! :) I don’t normally posts reviews but it exceed our expectations and 5 stars are well deserved!

Lovely little place with indoor upstairs & downstairs seating and table service. Friendly staff, complying with all current standards. Table was desinfected before seating. Covid cert + ID checked. 👍 We had a toasted version of their Wicklow Ham & Brie sandwich (pickled red onion, sauce etc.) Absolutely delicious how the flavours combined. Big pot of tea 👍 perfect Americano. Will defo visit again.

Kennedy´s Clontarf is one of the nicest niche cafes out there. Every time my mother and I visit we are always greated with a friendly "Hello, welcome back, how is things today". The staff are so friendly and a pleasure to be around. The falafel wrap is absolutley amazing. The combination of flavours work so well. A round of applaus for the amazing staff and owner. Can´t wait to return soon!

I generally do like this small neighborhood cafe - they serve different very tasty wraps, salad bowls, rich soups, sandwiches and lovely pastry, scones or vegan sweet rolls. They also have a daily changing meal and a good range of different breakfast options. Plenty to pick from for vegetarians as well. They offer various types of coffee like latte, flat white, cappuccino and hot chocolate. You can either go for take away or now with eased restrictions eat in. Place is very small, so can be crowded and the counter as well as tables are suboptimal arranged as when you wait for take away you are always in waitress or next customers way. I would recommend that this is being redesigned, though have no clever idea how to do it, but I can tell it is annoying when you wait and you are forced to constantly move around. I also feel that staff is a bit stressed or not so happy these days - I felt welcome a few months back, nowadays I often feel like I am a disturbing factor. 🥴

If you are looking for an amazing Irish full Breakfast in Clontarf, Dublin , Ireland look no further! Kennedy’s Food Store and Deli located on Vernon Avenue serves the most amazing full Irish Breakfast. Upon Entering Kennedy’s of Clontarf my family and I were made feel very welcome and were directed up stairs. We were immediately seated to a table up stairs and immediately were taken care of by the amazing staff. They immediately brought us fresh water and menus . We all ordered the full Irish Breakfast and various breads for the table. The water tasted so fresh and was presented in really nice glass vases. The bread was so fresh. It was not long after after we were served fresh coffee and tea. The staff continuously checked on us but not to the point of being annoying. They made us all feel very welcome. They all took a lot of pride in their establishment, jobs and taking care of their customers. Our Irish Breakfasts all arrived in great timing and everyone enjoyed them. The Black, White Pudding, Eggs and Irish Sausages were absolutely delicious. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, served in with the US Marines all over the world, and traveled all over the United States. I definitely know a great place for Breakfast. Kennedy’s of Clontarf is absolutely amazing and met my expectations of how an Irish Full Breakfast should be served and presented. The establishment is very clean and has very clean restrooms. If you are from Clontarf and have not being home in a while. Kennedy’s occupies the formed Tighe’s Butcher Shop that had a major presence in the area for many years. I definitely will be returning to Kennedy’s of Clontarf upon my return to Ireland. Delicious coffee and tasty homemade modern food options. Location is great and interior is very presented. Coffee is wonderful and homemade pastries are a real treat. Children are welcome with a fine selection of homemade ice creams. So ideal for small groups or families. And of course the casual single person wanting a relaxing cup of coffee.

I cannot overstate the deliciousness of their sandwiches, my pastrami was perfect and my soup was stellar as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I drove across the city to have a walk beside the sea and stumbled across this wonderful place. I'll definitely be back! Seating and atmosphere also perfect.

Have been ordering lunch from the team since June 2017. Kristine & Suzanne prepare delicious salads using quality ingredients & sandwiches using freshest bread. They phone me if they can't prepare my order. Excellent value food, served with a smile everyday. Brownies are amazing too!

I ordered a "full Irish breakfadt", well it was 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 rashers, black & white pudding wit a mix of white and brown toast washed down with a pot of hot tea. When I frequent a cafe like Kennedys, I expect the breakfast to be freshly cooked however, alll the items on my plate were not hot, including the toast. It was as if the food was cooked earlier and was left sitting waiting to be ordered. I gave 3 stars because the staff were very hospitable and friendly and also did not charge me for my food after my complaint.

A buddy and I were staying in Clontarf for a week. We tried different local places for breakfast each day but in the end went back to kennedy’s on our last day because it had both the best food and best service, by Evelina and the other ladies. The eggs were cooked well, the meat was great and the coffee was good. We would definitely go back if staying in Clontarf again.

My favourite place to show off to visitors. Just a lovely cosy relaxed place to grab an exceptional bite to eat after a long brisk coastal walk. Staff are tops when it comes to creating a laid back friendly atmosphere while being efficient. Prices are very reasonable for quality and choice of fresh produce on offer. One of my favourite places to sit on a windy or rainy day. Soups are delicious. Wish they had a few more hot options such as seafood chowder. Please bring back the Mediterranean ciabatta with olives and sun dried tomatoes. View from upstairs windows are great.

As a keen cyclist I love to occasionally treat myself and my godh was i in for a treat. 😊Had a beautiful lunch In fact it was very tasty 😋 Lunch consisted of homemade tomato soup which was really thick and a grilled chicken and pesto and sundried tomato ciabatta Again couldn't find fault but with the Latte woowwwwww is all I can say Not only was it hot , perfect strength and a joy to drink but it was the best latte I had in a long tim.I love my coffee and I enjoyed my experience and would recommend Kennedy's Clontarf very highly indeed. Nicely designed, the decor is clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly. Had tea and a scone, very nice, served with jam and butter, however the tea came in a big teapot, only quarter full with water. My friend had mint tea, unfortunately the tea pot it was served in was supposed to have a strainer, but the tea used had very small leaves, so couldn't be strained. It was replaced by a pot of mint tea from a teabag, and would need about 20 minutes to steep so that was a little disappointing. Recommend they buy an ordinary tea strainer for serving.

I've been to the Kennedys in Fairview many times but this was my first time in clontarf. Weekly special was tasty and the sandwiches looked good as always. Some of the downstairs seating is near the doors which can make it chilly.
