A very nice place for brunches, a little bit pricey but the situation and the terrasse might make up for it. Went there with friends last Sunday, it was a bit busy. The pancake platter to share is very nice (except if you're team veryfluffypancakes).
A. G.
Nice place, impeccable service, perfect attention. I ordered a toast with egg and bacon and the quantity was perfect. I was full. I recommend it. And I'll be back again for sure.
L. A.
Nice and cozy. If you’re looking for pancakes definitely go there, for the breakfast it wasn’t as good. good service 😊
S. M.
I am not a fan of Pancakes but I am a fan of the pancakes in POG
The service was good and we were taken care of by the staff
The food was amazing and very filling, with the make your own pancake being better than I expected. Full of flavor with Nutella Hot Chocolate to wash it down.
The relaxing atmosphere and the great food and service is the reason why I will 100% be going back to again to POG

Pog is a great place to sit with an amazing menu. Pancakes are delicious and coffee is great. I don't know maybe it was the day we went but the cafe closed a bit early that day. Also it would be great if they had heaters outside. Other than that it's a lovely place.

The restaurant is pretty cute and I love the interior! I ordered an americano and some vegan / gluten free pancakes with chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, strawberries and bananas. Although the flavour was there the topping portions were a bit disappointing for the price. It was around €11 (more if you add extra toppings) but there was hardly any fruit on them. If I could give a recommendation it would be to give a bit more fruit for the price paid. Perhaps I’m just used to the portion sizes at other places I have been.
My friend added strawberries as an extra topping (€.50 extra) and unfortunately they had forgotten them.
K. W.
I CAN GET VEGAN PANCAKES IN HERE THAT ARE DELICIOUS AND COMPLETELY CHOOSE MY OWN TOPPINGS PAIRED WITH A VEGAN HOT OREO HOT CHOCOLATE.
I am sorry for being for saying that in all CAPS but the joy that paragraph brings me can only be shouted. Beautiful spot too.
M. B.
Food was delicious, strongly recommend the pancakes and the eggs with salmon. Lovely place 100% satisfying 🎉
A. M.
Ordered a breakfast brioche - specifically asked for the eggs not to be runny. Recieved runny eggs.
Also ordered a "breakfast board". The bacon was rock hard and not heated. Must have been cooked previously in the day and then thrown on a plate (or board).
The above and 2 coffees at €31 was poor food and very over priced. Had it been good food - then the price didn't matter. Put it was poor.
No one asked was everything alright - during or afterwards and when I asked for the bill they handed the credit card machine - on the Tip screen. This place has notions.

I had the best, shake your tail-feather Gluten Free Protein Pancakes with Banana, dark chocolate chips, almond butter, pecan nuts and Maple Syrup (about 500 calories, if anyone is on a health tip).. my friend had the same but with strawberry's and not GF and no MS.. they forgot her Almond butter (sigh)... they were really honest to goodness good. NOW.. we ordered the detox juice, it was so THICK that there paper straw just wilted before we got half way and it was so bitter too. THE PRICE IS WAY WAY TOO MUCH.. and the seats are not enough but we got a great window seat. SO .. go if you wanna spend money on great Pancakes.. everything else, I think you can make at home and with bigger portions, with less the prices they charge for it.
F. T.
Really nice food! Plenty of Vegan and meaty options. The atmosphere is great but the prices are quite high. I love the interior design of this place but it’s a bit disappointing that plants are fake :/ hope to see real ones next time in Dublin:)
A.
Pancakes are to die for!! 😍
You can choose whatever you like, great selection.
Coffee is damn good!
Staff were so nice couldn't be any more helpful.
I got crushed digestives thinking they would be crushed but they weren't? They were just broken into halfs. I think if it's listed on the menu crushed digestives, then crush them? They would be so much tastier too. 😊👍
But a little pricey to be honest. Went once and the price kind of took me by surprise just for some topped pancakes 😕 ..
My boyfriend and I, 2x topped pancakes and 2x coffees €38.50..
D. A.
The breakfast brioche was just so good . It's really an art on the plate . The mix of hallumi and different garnishes just makes it unresistable .I had it with a smoothie that was tailored to my choice.lovely staff just made my 10 hours work day afterwards a lot easier

24/3/18 | Amazing atmosphere and very creative breakfast dishes. You’ll find your go-to avocado toast, but also some interesting ideas like the Vegan breakfast plate or the the two-way toasts. The only downside is the weird service (you’ll have to wait for your turn to be called to order at the till) and the very long time it takes for the food to find its way to your table. Prices are reasonable and comparable to most brunch spots in Dublin.
Overall a great experience!
N. G.
Not bad but quite overpriced. I will be going back just to try different stuff but the porridge that I had was way to liquidy and not warm at all. Coffee not great either.
The place is in a great location and the and the staff were quite friendly.
Guys!! This is an update. I went back a couple more times and I think it's great! I really liked the new things that I tried - still not liking the coffee though.
s. m. c.
Lovely staff and lovely food. Had a lovely breakfast. Thanks so much
P. T.
Good but small portions and expensive for what it is. The dishes are good, but far from what they advertise on their Instagram page. When I got the pancakes in front of my eyes I was extremely disappointed. I came for that, and I got 4 mini crepes.... At least it was good, their coffee & hot drinks were tasty and their homemade juices as well.
I care about tasty food which is why I'm giving a 4 but they could work on making real pancakes on stop the fake advertising. The disposition of the place is also an issue as it is quite small so you're lucky if you can sit. They even have notes on the wall that you can only stay for 40min...
g. c.
Very nice staff, food is amazing 10/10, small place unfortunately, wait time very fast. Coffee splendid and yummy. Would recommend going!
E. D.
I had breakfast in Póg recently. The lady provided excellent service and her knowledge of the menu was impressive! Also her memory... Remembering that many pancake toppings in your head is a skill! She had a lovely manner about her and made us so welcome. I got the vegan pancakes which were delicious. Many options for me to choose from. The soy milk cappuccino was so smooth and enjoyable also. I'll be going to Póg often. Great spot!
A. G.
I had a pancake with berries, coconut yoghurt, white chocolate drops and nutella and absolutely loved it. Chai latte was also top notch. My friend had a toast with avocado and adored it too. The place is very small and hence often busy but the interior is cosy and welcoming.
M. M. P.
Today I tried the POG for breakfast. My first option was the Avocado Toast and I added a poached egg. In my opinion the avocado tasted freeze avocado and not fresh :( It was very chilli as well. Still, hungry I asked for a Açai Bowl. It was amazing and a very nice presentation.
S. S.
Great spot for breakfast or lunch. Healthy options available and special dietary requirements are met by a reassuring pleasant smiley staff ! I was served by Daniela :)
I loved the dairy free protein pancakes! Although I couldn't say no to those dark chocolate sprinkles, haha. I'll be back!
D. H.
Protein pancakes and matcha latte were good and I'd definitely return for those.
Having said that, the location wasn't the greatest. It's right downtown and there was a steady coming and going of customers. Good for the business but not quite what you're looking for if you want to relax and enjoy your breakfast.
K. F.
Gorgeous location, great food and friendly service. The Italian chicken salad is unbelievable. Portion sizes are huge too- such amazing value for money!
M. S.
Great food and coffee, excellent customer service!!
V. C.
Fab cocktails. Lively & lovely ambience. Staff so friendly. Great night
M. R.
Pog is a nice place to get great food and great hot drinks! We tried the French brioche for breakfast and it was delish!! Lovely decoration and friendly staff!
S. M.
Amazing food, good service and ideal location in the centre of Dublin. Would recommend the protein pancakes! Super tasty and lots of choice for toppings.
J. F.
Very nice place for breakfast/brunch. Super healthy!! Coffee is quite good, but the portions are a bit small compared to the price we are paying. The place is a bit small, so make sure you avoid peak time.
C.
The service is not the best and it can get quite busy on weekends. However, there's something about this place that makes you want to give it a try.
It's the perfect spot for IG ready food and with a decent taste: acai bowls, protein pancakes, avocado toasts, smoothies...
E. R. M.
Fantastic place for breakfast or lunch! The menu includes options from the deliciously healthy to the decadently sweet. The communal tables also offer an opportunity to get to know fellow diners if they're feeling talkative.
D. E.
Loved the food and the friendly service, only it was a little slow. But great pancakes.
e. v.
I shouldn't have walked into this place as now I am hooked on these delicious protein pancakes, vegan ice cream and coconut milk cappuccino! 😻
J. K.
Nice staff but my pancakes and bacon were cold. Made it difficult to enjoy.
c. d.
Bit pricey, but the food is really nice and the staff are very friendly. Would recommend.
D. R.
Big diversity in their fruity breakfast options.
Friendly staff and well decorated entrance!
L. B.
My favourite place to eat in Dublin! I love the atmosphere and the food is always fresh and delicious. The acai bowl is my personal favourite!
A. D.
Very tasty breakfast. This POG at Bachelors Walk is a little bit smaller, you have to expect a little waiting time.
A. G.
One of my favorite cafes in Dublin. The food is so good and the dietary flexibilities offered are very nice!
L.
Such a great experience! Hard to find healthier food that taste nice! The eggs are amazing! Lots of dairy free milk options and lovely service. Pancakes are super filling like protein pancakes so I don’t feel quite as naughty eating them (with a sprinkle of Snickers) :)
B. F.
Nice little restaurant with lots of healthy options for lunch. The protein pancakes are really good
C. S.
Lovely little cafe with fantastic vegan salad options. Friendly staff and good food. Tables outside by the river a nice plus for sunny days
T. E. B.
Amazing do-it-yourself pancakes, also quite a good amount of vegan options!
N. A.
Service was great and friendly. Got a great vibe from staff members, they seem to really respect each other. Got the protein pancakes and Carmel mocha. Pancakes are quite big and left me feeling really full. Got caramel sauce, mixed seed, blueberries, banana and strawberry as the toppings. Clean and tidy environment.
M. J.
I was excited to try the protein pancakes. Taste was decent but I would need twice as big of a portion to say that I am remotely close to being full. Good for a snack and a coffee but won't come back.
A. D.
Only tried the coffee because we were in a rush but lovely coffee
E. W.
Pog looks very cool and Instagramable online and their food looks good but in actuality we were sat at a filthy table covered in something unidentifiable. The breakfast selection was good but very pricey. I ordered the Avocado toast which is 10 euro as is, I added on chorizo for an extra 3.50! All that came out was one slice of bread for 13.50 that was just ridiculous. My partner ordered the red eggs which came out and the eggs were watery with a puddle in the skillet, completely turned him off finishing them. The presentation was nice and food tasted good but was still hungry afterwards.
c. s.
Staff were pleasant, coffee was good but that's where it ends I'm afraid. Had the pancakes which were very heavy, dense and doughy. Went to the bathroom which was spotless but first thing I noticed is the food is right beside the bathroom door, not covered and in all honesty seen better days in particular the spinach. Kinda put me off If I'm honest.
M. C.
I love POG's location, it's practically on O'Connell Bridge, making it perfect for people watching. Meanwhile, the menu - of brunch items, sandwiches and smoothies - means that customer turnover is high and you are likely to get a seat. I also like the fact that customers are encouraged to share tables, and because the staff respond quickly, you never encounter a table piled high with dirty dishes (which can be a problem in other places). Once you've placed your order, service is great, and my favourite item on the menu - a club sandwich with avocado - is always delicious and filling. If you want to while away an afternoon nursing a coffee, go some place else. But if you want a great sandwich or pile of pancakes, go to POG.
J. L.
The thing that I Like the most is that they count calories for you! Want to eat something sweet but fear the calories?go there!
M.
Great Club Sandwich, thicc and moist, with tasty sauce
T. B. O.
Service is a bit slow
But great atmosphere and great food & coffee
E. H.
Probably paying more so for the good location and the aesthetic rather than the food itself. The portion sizes are quite small for the price point. Good vegetarian and vegan options however and the coffee is nice. Got the pancakes before, I wouldn’t recommend them. The toast two ways is a good shout.
k. k.
Unfortunately not the experience I was hoping for. Overpriced food, I mean I spent 17 quid and had to go to a mexican for a burrito afterwards - surely that's not right. The food is OK, nothing amazing. Perhaps I should try their pancakes - maybe they will change my mind. I had acai bowl and avo toast and to be fair it was as good as I'd make it (for a fraction of the price). However, the coffee was great and staff are very friendly.
H. C.
Great selection for vegan, vegetarian options. They also had some options with meat as well. Only downside was it was a bit over priced. I had green eggs which was nice but cost 10 euro. Staff were extremely nice though and gave us a shake bottle freebie!
L. M. N.
Staff were super lovely and the pancakes were to DIE for!!! 😍
N. F.
First time at the POG but hopefully not the last had a beautiful chicken wrap with rice beautiful
L. F.
Cute little place in city center. Love that they offer loads of protein rich foods such as protein pancakes and that they give you the calories/macros on the menu. The food is simple but decent and for the e.g. the pancakes you can choose your own toppings (fruit, chocolate, maple syrup, etc.). You have to order at the bar and they will bring it. Sometimes we had to wait a bit long for our coffees, but the staff is friendly and the food is good :) I'll visit again!
A. W.
Good customer service. Nice atmosphere and food!
N. M.
Late at night and all the restaurants were closed when I found this place. Had a chicken avocado wrap and it was AMAZING! Only issue is I asked for double chicken and the guy didn't just charge me for 2 wraps, he charged even more for the *second* one as he did for the original one. But, the wrap was so good I didn't care.
M. G. G.
These protein pancakes are to die for! Extremely filling, make sure to arrive hungry to make the most of it! It’s quite a casual seating arrangement and can be little bit drafty but the pancakes have won my heart ❤️
L. K.
Such nice friendly efficient staff, let us use the bathroom when other places had refused and food and coffee was amazing. Got the toast two ways (amazing) and an iced coffee would definitely recommend.
A. C.
The place was a great spot for a fresh breakfast before exploring Dublin. Service was a little bit slow- we spent nearly and hour and a half there. The Immune and Defender shots were super tasty!
E. F.
Healthy. Central. Affordable. I got the Spicy Chicken salad. Delicious, healthy, filling, and affordable. My friends got the Goats Cheese salad, Mocha Coma smoothie, and the protein pancakes - all were great. A great place to get food in city centre.
G. R. O.
The reviews say the portions are small but the Post Workout salad was big enough and very tasty (I'll ask them to not add raw onion though, I hate raw onion...🙃).
The Keylime Protein Pie Smoothie was really tasty too.
Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff.
T. F.
Staff friendly and good coffee. Didn't eat but what was being served looked very good.
M. T.
Some very nice pancakes for those of you with a sweet tooth!
R. O.
Three of us ordered the Green Hen breakfast dish. A littlel dish of scrambled eggs with avocado, spring onion, feta cheese and mixed leaves. I noticed little black bugs (not fruit flies) crawling around the cubes of feta. After the staff looked into it, they popped over asked us to return all three dishes. They offered us complimentary drinks due to the extra waiting time. The second round arrived (minus the contaminated mixed leaves) and was simply, ok. Despite the super nice staff, i found the place too loud and overpriced for what it is. Could possibly be pursuaded to return for some of their tasty looking pancakes, cookies or treats.
T. A.
I found a bit price however food is good!
A. S.
Amazing food but they need more tables and its a little too expensive but you have to eat there!!
M. M.
Pog is without doubt my favourite place in dublin to eat, I spend half my wages there!! The pancakes are to die for! Service Is always great the only downside is the slowness, I've waited 40 mins before for pancakes! More staff needs to be hired
T. H.
Really great place! The waiters were very nice and quick and the food/beverages were fantastic. Minus one point because it can get quite noisy when it's crowded.
J. Y.
Kind staff great lacation.
I’ll try pancakes next time.
k.
Cute but not my style. If you're into paleo it's a good option. Great location and the salad is good but bit pricey. Gotta pay the rent I guess. Service was pretty slow
M. K.
Super cute and very yummy food. Reasonably priced for some very unique food. The only reason it’s not five stars is that there was very limited seating and all guests had to share with strangers.
T.
Great pancakes and coffee. Protein pancakes with different toppings were very nice and went excellent with fruit salad. Coffee was very creamy and full of flavour. Just great.
D. D.
Great coffee (regular, coconut or almond milk), super salads, fun healthy smoothies, quest bars and similar treats. Both Indoor and outdoor seating. Oh and the multilingual cool staff. Bok! 😊
J. C.
POG is a place to have mostly your breakfast or brunch.
They follow the healthy philosophy and they have a balcony full of delicious desserts/cakes/biscuits with good ingredients to your " cheating' days.
I must agree that the portions are small and the price is high, though. If they had bigger portions I would find the price more reasonable.
The coffee is okay, but my favorites here are the food, specially the protein pancakes (with toppings you can
choose) and the chocolate banana bread.
They are vegan/vegetarian friendly, I always get my capppuccinos without cow's milk.
The place is small, so it is better to avoid peak time, because is gonna be crowded.
The staff was always nice to me and I aways had a decent service here.
Ps: 2 times that I went there someone left the door opened and me and my friends were freezing.
E. N.
I loved this place! It’s a pity it is so small and they don’t do the same food the other Pog has. But still love the coffee and the pancake! It’s fab!
s. d.
Such friendly and attentive staff, the service is wonderful! We came when they were fully booked but the servers found us a lovely little space and wer0
J. M.
Awesome pancakes with real Maple syrup and. Great coffee. Clean and fresh Atmosphere. Nice staff. Right off O'Connell street
L. A.
The girls were super kind and helpful. The protein pancakes were unreal, had strawberries, kiwi and almond butter. Can't wait to go back.
M. S.
Expensive for what it is. Nothing special - avocado on toast. Service wasn’t great.
M. B.
Best pancakes ever! Coffee is great too ☕️
K. V.
Love it! Delicious! I liked that you can choose the toppings!
P.

Just visited Pog in Howth.... food and service was amazing.... we really enjoyed our food and the friendly vibe.... see you again soon!! Thank you for a lovely evening :)
R. D.
Decent lunch for under a tenner. Menu is different and staff are friendly. Plan on gling back to try the Acai bowl
P.
A bit on the expensive side, but it makes sense for a place right on the corner of O'Connell St. Other than that food and service are wonderful.
A. C.
Decent option for a bite in the city centre (can recommend the salads and pancakes). Slightly pricey for the quality/quantity but I guess that’s due to the location.
B.
A great cup of green tea and a slice of vegan chocolate banana bread. Fresh, great balance. Happy😋😋
F. G.
Best pancakes in Dublin! Perfect place for a healthy brunch/lunch! Great coffee and amazing service!!
J. K. V.
This place is fantastic. The food is absolutely gorgeous with all the attention to detail and the atmosphere is lovely.
C. W.
Lovely variety of healthy foods, and treats. Opens at 8am on weekdays so sometimes it's a nice treat on my way to work.
m. w.
Nice breakfast, small dishes.
It took forever for the coffee to be ready. You can skip this place...
M. T.
Especially good for the pancakes! The rest of the brunch items seems pretty average. Presentation is always good.
A. R.
Good nicecream, high prices. Average price range for vegan/vegetarian places in Dublin, I suppose
S. S.
The food is great! Offers lots of vegan options. Bit pricey tough.
G. C.
Service was great, the pancakes were incredible and extremely Instagram worthy
J. G.
great coffee and pancakes, the acai bowl is a bit overpriced, €7,50 for a very small portion.

Service was slow but well worth the wait fantastic hot cup of coffee.

Poggers
P. K.
Decent enough place but a bit pricey and vegan selections not too good.
O. N.
Nice place but vegan dishes need more quantity and flavour.
A. S.
Great place right in the city center. It takes time to get a table but it’s worth it!!
G. S.
The coolest place for coffees and food in Dublin. Recommended.

(Translated) We were looking for a place to eat fresh for a brunch (not sausages and fried potatoes) but at the same time that we were satisfied we found pog that has a huge offer for brunch. Toast, açai bowls, smoothies, in addition to overwhelming super rich and very gentle staff. They take a while but if you are going to enjoy the food it is great. There are options for vegetarians and vegans
