Amazing brunch with friends, do not be afraid to wait a bit outside, the turnover is pretty quick (we waited only 5min and the place was full when we arrived). The waiter was super nice, and omg please taste the pancakes, they were to die for! We were full but we still took take away cakes 👌 will definitely come back! Congrats for the quality guys!!!

Good spot for scones not too far from downtown Dublin. It's attended by the locals and you don't getc overcharged as in touristy places. The owner is very friendly and provided a very good service.
O. M.
Big fan of slice! It's the ultimate brunch spot (avocado and peanut rayu is my go to, with grilled potatoes if they have them—both pictured), the coffee is great, and the brownies (and other treats) are always next level.
K. S.
Brunch pancakes were delicious. Flavours were really well thought out. My dining companion, though he enjoyed his hash brown dish, said the hash browns were the worst component, hence 4 not 5 stars. Staff were welcoming and friendly, wait time wasn't super long either, considering how busy they were.
D. M.
Lovely place. Always go here when in Dublin. Beautiful food and staff

I brought my friend for a birthday breakfast this morning. We were both greeted with a big smile, the music was pumping, our beverages spot on, the pancakes were heavenly, we'd great fun with the staff. We were set up for the day! What more could you want. Highly recommended and will return.

Booked a table for 10 people. Communication by email was prompt, polite and simple. No fuss. Set up, ambiance, menu, service, food and most importantly the coffee was superb. Highly recommended and we will be back!
M. R.
Had the toasted Kimchi Special. 10 out of 10. Really tasty 😋! Would definitely recommend. Really good coffee too.

This place makes my area. Owner is sound as a pound and food can't be beaten. A bit pricey but you need to pay a bit for quality.
C. M.
The food is great but the service was terrible. We were served by 3 people in our 1 visit. Mostly by a young blonde man whom didn't seem to have much interest. Our food was on the table for maybe 5 minutes before anyone brought cutlery and I had to go in to the shop when they still didn't bring any for my daughter. The server who'd been asked was inside serving other people while my daughter sat with her food unable to eat. To top it off they served my 4 year old daughter burnt pancakes. The owner apologiesed and gave us some cake to make up for it but they should never have left the kitchen outside of a bin. A case a good cafe being let down by pooor service.

Very nice, cozy brunch spot. Lovely menu, all food freshly made. I was addicted to their homemade lemonade. I would recommend going here and even if you have to wait a while (because it is very small) be prepared and know it is worth the wait.
J. K.
A cute little breakfast/lunch spot in Stoney Batter with healthy ingredients and a welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed their food so much that we had breakfast there everyday on our visit to Dublin.
m. s.
Fantastic little place. Really enjoy our visit. Great selection on their menu to choose from.
Great cuppa. The prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back to try more from their menu.

I went during a weekday lunch time, it was pretty busy but it had a nice atmosphere and no delay in service. I ordered the vegetable and goats cheese sandwich, my friend had a special dish of the day which was a veggie hash with sprouts.
The coffee was amazing, well made and very tasty.
The food was delicious. They have a clear attention to detail and seem to go above and beyond to improve on flavours that are available elsewhere. My sandwich was easily better than any other veggie and goats cheese I've had before for example.
The soup of the day was perfect, well seasoned and perfectly creamy.
My only gripe is that the thick cut bread makes the sandwich more suited to a knife and fork over eating with your hands but that's just knit picking. Highly recommended.
R. B.
Brunch time at Sunday was crowded but food came quicker than I expected.
Great choice of dishes with vegan and vegetarian options, I thought there were more cakes available as the name of the place reminds me.
Loved the beans option, I will be back.
P. G.
Best breakfast in town, really great food. Hash brown breakfast was amazing.
M. B.
When I first saw the menu and started tasting the mains I thought "well this is an alternative to the cake cafe". Good healthy food, a bit pricy and some portions not really generous, but at least you don't need to stay in a queue for 15 minutes. Then I checked the cushions on the bench and they were all signed "the cake cafe". Ah! now it makes sense. So, if you want something similar to the cake cafe but on the north side, here you have the answer.. probably same owners, although the pancakes are actually better. Problem? a bit salted in price for far north D7.
G. L.
Best little cafe in Dublin for brunch, staff are great and food is always delish .
R. F. C. C.
Service and ambient is always superb
Organic, healthy, nutritious food
Very sorry but can't remember the name. For sure was one of their day specials.
Can't go wrong with that
D. J.
Little pricey but well in-line with the other local boutique coffee shops.
Beautifully and freshly made cakes and other delicacies with a lovely decor inside. Recently opened outside seating area which adds quirk to the street!
Owner seems nice enough and the girls behind the counter are really friendly. Would recommend over the other local coffee shops.
J. L.
This was a great little find. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very inviting and friendly. The staff provided us with some additional restaurants and pubs to go to throughout the city.
A. P.
Amazing brunch, good quality products, locally, very tasty and great staff
M. S.
Great food, nice and cosy small Cafe. Don't go there if you're in a rush though, it's a 'slow food' kind of place, perfect to relax in the morning!
C. M.
Nice breakfast items and cakes!!!
Love to go for a slice here.
K.
Food is great and travels well, interesting breakfast and lunch items 10/10
T. D.
Really cute cafe with delicious coffee from local Dublin roaster 3fe. I also had the superfood porridge and veggie scramble, recommend both!
B.
Staff is very friendly, food is super delicious. What else a customer wants?:)
R. R.
Lovely place, friendly staff and amazing food.
E. A. G.
The food was nice the coffee was great...portions were small and pricy considering the size...we were never offered the special which was written after we ordered which was disappointing.
M. O.
Amazing food and coffee
C. W.
I'd heard the hype about this place - and it's all true. The place is a little gem. Ham & cheese toastie, but not as you know it! Absolutely delicious, top top notch.
C. F.
Good food and nice coffee.
Would go there again.
C. '. G.
High quality coffee and food served from early morning to late afternoon (take away only at the moment due to C-19 rules). Located off Dublin's Manor Street, just a short stroll from the historically lively Stoneybatter - home to the first Viking settlement north of the River Liffey back in the 11th century. There is a delicious selection of coffee, hot food and tempting sweets and even an Irish or Bailey's coffees for a special occasion! Outdoor seating has been added recently but may only be temporary. Coffee beans also available to buy. Buses 39/39A/37/70 all service the area or a Luas to Smithfield or Grangegorman and a further 10 minute walk will get you there from the city centre in 20 - 25 mins or less.
s. d. r.
Very good is nice i enjoy a lot thank's 🙏🦋💋💖
J. L.
The soup was delicious and my server Conor was even better! He makes the best extra hot Americans I’ve ever had! He always smiles and winks at me! Can’t wait to go back
E. B.
Fantastic breakfast food and coffee. A true gem.
S. F.
Was here for Brunch the may bank holiday weekend. Food was great and very tasty. However, a bit pricey. They charge 1.50 for ONE extra poached egg which is why it doesn't get 5 stars.
R. H.
Got myself an almond latte. Absolutely delicious. Best coffee I've had in ages. Outstanding. Really nice staff too.
A. J.
Very comfy, homely feel right as you step in. The place is small, but not really stiflingly so. Brightly coloured, it sets the mood for starting the day.
It was on the list of recommended places to visit for their doughnuts, which we unfortunately learnt they didn't make anymore, so that was a bummer.
Their coffee and desserts section made up for that, along with a few juices, which seemed pretty fresh.
All in all, would recommend.
S. O.
Small but perfectly formed! Delicious fresh healthy food in friendly environment. Daily specials & juices are wonderful. Great for breakfasts & brunch with good coffee... and cake too of course.
a. -. T. A. H.
Very popular spot for brunch, so you may need to queue. However, if you get a table, it's great food! Plus you've gotta love the Dublin and Cork themed tea towels and aprons they sell.
Sister-cafe to the Cake Cafe on Camden St.
N. C.
Very small snug café very close to the centre of Dublin with parking available (pay and display). Excellent food and a good selection of veggie dishes too. There is plenty to eat for around 9/10 euros for one dish approx. The staff are friendly but the service was a little sloppy (forgetting part of the order, bringing only half of the things we need such as plates but no cuttlery and water but no glasses, getting the bill wrong at the end, etc.). The place is very small and gets very busy so be prepared to wait outside a bit before getting a table.
L. H.
Fantastic food, beautifully presented.
M. O. H.
Popped into today for a Monday brunch with my sister. The special was fab, it was a type of pancake with egg and ham and salad. Delicious. It is pancake Tuesday tomorrow so i liked that had a pancake option just can't remember what it was made from; buckwheat maybe? It was gorgeous. Coffee was nice too. My sis had the soup special with parsley, red lentil, hazelnut and chilli oil and chorizo and cheese dish on toast from the lunch menu. She was stuffed. All tasty. Staff friendly too
M. R.
A very friendly, relaxed café. I tried two dishes and both were good, healthy food that leaves you happy and satisfied. Nothing fancy though and can get crowded on weekends. Service was always friendly.
P. F.
We had carrot cake pancakes with walnuts & fruit and a ham & cheese croque monsieur, tea & americano. They were delicious and tasty. Lovely but small cafe that’s oozes charm.
S. K.
Menu is distinctive from a lot of brunch spots and the dishes were tasty with decent portion sizes. Good coffee too, but limited seating so get there early !
I. *.
Really good breakfast! You have to try this little Café when you are in Stoneybatter. The Service is good and very friendly. On the weekends it could be difficult to find a seat, but you can wait outside on a seat and use the WiFi till a table is free :) And I liked the music!
A. B.
Good lunch n brunch options. Chef is creative. Lovely desserts. It's a tight space n tables are close together. Staff can be either friendly or aloof depending. Try it.
G. Z.
four stars for the good service and friendly staff. went for brunch, the food was super tasty but the portion was small and i dont eat too much. i found the toasts too hard, like is too crunchy that can hurt your mouth inside if you bite it wrongly. The day i went they were out of tomatoes, and i think brunch without roasted tomatoes is a bit sad :( the muesli was just DELICIOUS.
f. c.
Booked a table here as a group, sat at the front, food was delicious, well priced, arranged a Birthday cake for my friend and we didnt feel rushed at all unlike most places for sunday brunch!
A. K.
Good spot in Smithfield / Stoneybatter for brunch. Popular at the weekends so you may need to wait a short while for a table. Staff usually very friendly. Food of good quality. Above-average selection for vegetarians.
M. D.
Nice menu. a bit boring .
r. c.
Good food and service. Nice outdoor seating
E. H.
Amazing local food with great variety that all is quite apparently carefully sourced, and amazingly friendly staff
D. K.
Lovely food and friendly staff
S. L.
Gorgeous place. Got a delish veggie tart, oat flat white and cheeky cake there today. Well done folks for weathering this pandemic #delish #supportlocal
L. S.
A small cozy place with friendly service. The music was a bit too loud in my opinion, so sitting down with a book did not really work. Also, the place is rather small, so I imagine it gets very busy (and loud) in rush hours
M. R.
Great food, service and ambiance
C. M.
Good quality home baked goods. The place is always jam packed. Best breakfast food I had in Dublin... and their cookbook is pretty darn good too.
A. Q.
Tasty food but servers were a bit over capacity in that they kept bringing us other people's orders and left us sitting for 10mins before we got a menu (we eventually gave up and asked) aside from those small irks, the food was great and the juices especially tasty.
A. A.
Very relaxed neighbourhood café with homemade food and fresh ingredients. Nice vibes, friendly staff and interesting menu. Overall, tasty, but not mind blowing.
P.
Amazing prices and such a nice place to lunch!
A. S.
Really beautiful and creative food. The staff are always so friendly towards customers. A very small cafe, however, with only a few tables
c. g.
Nice friendly staff. Small interesting menu. Not a massive amount of seating, almost 20 quid for breakfast with coffee
M. M.
The brunch menu is outstanding; small quaint and cozy; free fast WiFi; menu keeps you coming back and all dishes are easily augment-able,
A. V.
Food was good. Most things have allergens so my girlfriend could only have two options but what we ordered was great, so was the coffee
P. M.
A great place to go for brunch. Limited seating so you might have to wait but the food is tasty and pretty good value
J. M.
Very nice little cafe. Tasty brunch menu food & drink. Good staff.
A. S.

E. M.
Just left slice. What a cosy little cafe. Nice atmosphere and great service from Sarah. Will be recommending to friends.

They went out of their way to make a vegetarian sandwich vegan. They also grinded my own coffee beans for free. I will be going back!

Our experience here was only marred by one member of staff who was particularly rude, the rest of them made up for it in bucket loads. Food is great, very snug place.

(Translated) My partner and I were in Dublin during the Christmas season from approx. 27.12.2018-03.01.2019
For me, this vacation was simply unforgettable and full of wonderful moments. Dublin is always worth a visit.
The first thing we noticed was the extreme friendliness and helpfulness of the people.
Now to the breakfast bar "SLICE":
We enjoyed our first breakfast in exactly this restaurant due to many positive reviews. I have to honestly say that the omelette on crispy toasted black bread, with roasted onion and a few cherry tomatoes, has rarely tasted so good to me. My partner felt the same way. Could also be due to the ingredients as they mainly come from the region. Incidentally, the restaurant has a wide range of homemade cakes - you should definitely try them. The staff is very friendly and tried hard. The only thing I would complain about is that the room is generally a bit small and therefore few tables are set up close together so that you can overhear the conversation with the neighbors. Since it is very popular, it can easily happen that you have to expect a little waiting time, but you are happy to accept it and I can promise you one thing - it really pays off!
Two thumbs up, we'd love to come back for sure. I warmly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is on vacation in Dublin.
P.S. If I find the photos I took of our breakfast, I will upload them later.

The food is simple and tasty, the dishes are made with fresh and quality products!
Vegetarian friendly too!
For my part, I had a banana porridge and an apple crumble, a delight! The squeezed orange juice on demand is also a killer!
