Bought 3 donuts for 8.50. Oreo flavoured was very good, filling is very strong with white chocolate and the donut was soft. We got two but one was a lot more stale, because we went later on in the day. Their kinder bueno filled donuts do not taste like kinder. The filling reminded me of sugary wafers which was too overpowering.

An absolute gem! They have the best donuts in town with so many flavours to choose from (including vegan). The staff is lovely, always happy to help and coffee is very tasty ☕️🍩. They have a donut for every pocket with different "donut of the day" each day for 2 euros and offer a 10% student discount 🤩 100% recommend!

A quick update! For the six week lockdown you can't sit outside, but you can still get the incredible tasting donuts, and coffee to go. Hopefully when the lockdown is lifted, it will be possible to sit outside again. Very impressed in these Covid times to see staff disenfecting tables immediately after each use. The friendly service of the staff and the social distancing of tables made this a venue I will definitely make as one of my regular stops in town. The donuts were incredible! Such a fantastic choice of flavours, they even have vegan donuts! I had the Bailey's donut with a latte. Oh! The rich Bailey's cream on the inside was indescribable! I plan to work my way through their entire range! They have outdoor seating, some of it under large outdoor umbrellas and they have a reward card system for each time you eat there. Minimum payment is 5 euro which is well worth it for the quality of the donuts, variety of drinks, location and most importantly, friendly, professional staff. I'm posting photos of the range if donuts, so read the creations and drool!

This place is amazing! This prices are not that cheap but worth EVERY penny. Being American this donut spot can go heads up with any place in America as far as donuts. I only wish they had cold coffee like frappuccinos, etc. But don't let that stop you because with the week I visited Dublin I think me and my family went 3 times. Keep up the good work and we will be back when visiting your city again. :)

The donuts were super yummy and I've tried raspberry with cheese and chocolate with orange ones. Not over sweet and the dough was soft and tasty. I was amazed by them and especially the one just came out from oven and still warm, almost melt my heart. I came on the first day I arrived Dublin and could not help come back to have more before I left. The owner is a nice and friendly mam who asked for our suggestions for the donuts.

amazing donuts. ordered this at 11:30 at night on deliveroo n was kinda sus when we saw the place closes at 9:30. we were expecting some pretty stale old dumpster ‘nuts. BuT! they were respectfully not-too stale at all. definitely the least stale donuts i’ve ever eaten. the dough of the vegan donuts were definitely better than their non-vegan counterparts. keep it up <3

The donuts are very creative and delicious but be careful as they are super filling. If you're going in for a look and want to try a few different ones I'd recommend the salted caramel and Bailey's donuts. You can also save a few quid by buying 3 for 6 I believe

Very pretty donuts that attract you from the sidewalk while passing by. We purchased 3 donuts around 8pm to take back to our hotel room. We were excited to try them but disappointment set in with our first bit, the donuts were stale. Perhaps if you buy them first thing in the morning the experience would be better but we won’t be back due to the staleness we encountered.

Our hotel was just beside this place, so my husband and I had donuts from this place twice. We found prices a bit expensive. We were having box of 3 for 7.50 e. Original icing sugar donuts were soooo tasty both times. One jam donut was 2 out of 5. My husband was taking always Bailey's donuts, he said those are so delicious. Packaging is nice and comfortable. Nice place, best recommendations!

I went to this place in evening time where they were about to close but they allowed us to buy donut and hit coffee and sit outside.. i really like hot chocolate but without marshmellows and caramel donut if they serve hot.

5 stars for the mind blowing staff and their behaviour, but 1 star for the donuts! While me and my wife were confused about the flavours, the staff in there gave us quite a few tastings too. We bought a box of 6. 3 vegan jam donuts and 3 cheesecakes (blueberry, cherry and raspberry). The vegan donuts were great but the cheesecakes were horrible. They all tasted the same in spite of being named differently. There was nothing inside. We dropped in to complain again and got a very polite response from the staff. She apologised and asked us if we want her to connect us to the manager and also offered to replace the donuts. I have always heard Indians works really hard irrespective of their job roles and are best when it comes to hygiene & hospitality. Saw it live at the hot donut. We will surely drop in again to try out their coffee over the weekend.

Stopped in after a day of sightseeing last month go grab a snack to tide us over until dinner. I got the 3 for €7.50 deal. So good! Loved the lemon and the salted caramel was to die for. The boston cream was ok. Nothing wrong with it but just didn't have the wow like the other two. The donuts were fresh and fluffy. The fillings were generous and none were too sweet. The caramel wasn't overly sweet or salty which takes skill to get that perfect balance. Had a hot chocolate to go - perfection! I don't even really care for donuts that much (outvoted by the others) and loved these. We were so excited to try them, we forgot to take a photo. Such a shame 'cause they were gorgeous too. Highly recommend.

Very good donuts.. With a wide variety... You can get anything you want here. We are from the US and we thought they had a great choice of "fancy" donuts.. They were priced well. It was a good stop after a very salty fish and chips. Just across from the spire... It is worth a stop. Our favorite was some kind of oreo caramel creation.

The donuts themselves are okay, but they really have no clue what a Boston cream is. I ordered from deliveroo so there was no photo, and what they sent had no chocolate on top, and they also ruined the cream by adding alcohol to it so it just tastes weird and boozy. The entire point of a Boston cream is the combination of chocolate and cream and how well they go together. 😕

All sorts of tasty donuts and coffee, cappuccino, double espresso to not forget the polite ladies that are working there. Today 17th of February I ordered a donut that proved to be cold and that young lady didn't want to heat up on a microwave the donut so I paid €4.50 for a cold donut.

These doughnuts are delicious. I tried them twice to make sure that the first time wasn't a fluke. The plain doughnut was awesome, the dough is very light and fluffy. Not dry, not greasy. The boston cream is second on the list for me. The oreo doughnut is outrageously sweet, but it delicious. The cheesecake doughnut, was good but they don't use real vanilla in the filling, it tasted like essence and not extract so there was something slightly artificial tasting about it. The texture and taste of the dough and the creaminess of the filling made up for it. So the overall experience was good, but I wouldn't order it again. This is a must try for anyone looking for a good doughnut.

Got to visit this place on my trip to Dublin on 12th of April. The flat white they serve is the best. The girls at the cafe are extremely friendly. One was Indian and one Brazilian. The best duo I must say after seeing the way they coordinated. So good to see a polish cafe not being racial and hiring people from different countries. I will visit the hot donut again every time on my work trips to Dublin.

Insanely delicious donuts...Dublin style! The Hot Donut is a small, fine and cool donut café. There are all kinds of delicious donuts here. From the classic donut to donuts with Kinder Bueno cream filling, Snickers filling and donuts with homemade raspberry filling. It has everything that pleases your donut heart. Freshly prepared around the clock and if you want, you can also watch the donut being made. The coffee specialties are also varied and simply great. There is a bonus stamp card that gives you a free donut if you get 5 stamps and a free coffee and donut combo if you get 10 stamps.

I went a few days ago for a donut and none of the people serving were wearing masks. They talk and interact with you and each other without a mask and then they serve you those donuts, that is, there is not even a minimum of care with everything that is happening with Covid19. It is a fabulous place with delicious donuts, but please wear a mask and require or recommend wearing it to enter the establishment. It is so small that you cannot respect the 2 meters distance, so at least use masks. Thank you.
