N. K.I came on the second day of opening post covid closures so the menu was limited to Irish breakfast—I’m SO GLAD it was!! This was the best Irish breakfast I’ve ever had (granted I am Canadian); it was smoky, sweet, salty, and rich with charred bits on the meats. Even the toast was wonderful!
In addition to the excellent food, the atmosphere was absolutely lovely. The owner is warm, welcoming, and kind. Since the place just opened, the owner is missing staff, so a restaurant owner from next door was helping him out in serving, even grabbing ingredients from his own restaurant when needed.

Place is small so get in early to grab a seat because you don't want to miss out on this breakfast. First day I tried the BLT and made it "sexy"(egg on top). Second day I tried the omlette with ham and mushrooms. He made my 3 year old the biggest hit chocolate with the big marshmallows in it amd my daughter loved it. My wife and I had the Irish coffee which was the best I had so far.

M.This is an excellent place for breakfast, the menu is small but we only came for one thing and that was the full Irish. L.Despite popular belief to the contrary, I don’t ordinarily have booze for breakfast on Tuesdays, and I’m not usually one for clichéd touristy drinks, but when that Tuesday is Christmas Eve, and that touristy drink is an Irish coffee and it’s my first proper drink in Ireland and it’s like 3 degrees outside, who am I to judge? It’s worth noting that I actually ordered regular coffee, but when the guy said “do you mean Irish coffee?,” what was I supposed to say? I didn’t come here to be disrespectful. Come on.
Also, that’s some of the best restaurant food I’ve had this whole trip.

Once we've placed the order, we didn't have to wait that long for our breakfast and the staff were really apologetic but it was no big deal.

Owner is very nice, didn't feel rushed when I was there as suggested by another reviewer, asked if I needed anything or would like anything else. Tea gorgeous and very accommodating. I.I went along and had Irish breakfast there yesterday morning. The bad news is that no choice of tea or coffee comes with their Irish breakfast. That's where the bad news ends folks! For this place has what must be the best service I've encountered in DC. To be greeted: 'Now young man, I'll be with you in a moment' might not be to everyone's favour, but I liked it. Moreover, I had only a short wait before the food got to my table. I had just started tucking in when same gent said in warm, sincere tones: ' Enjoy yer breakfast'. Now that, to me, is service. Pity more places aren't as smart on this. Return here? You betcha!

Delicious!!! I had the ham and cheese toastie and my friend had the BLT. Huge portions, quality ingredients, all served with a smile. The decor is vaudevilllian-chic, with chilled out funky beats to zone out to. This lovely little cafe brought me back to life and set me up for round 2 of my hen night in Dublin. Check it out, you'll be glad you did!

Super nice place with super nice staff. Coffee is great although it is a personal preference - I drink black coffee - (some people say Starbucks coffee is good which to me it is even far from being poor). Food is also very good - pies and stews, etc. You can't go wrong with their "Irish Breakfast" and fresh "Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble" complemented with a nice cup of freshly brewed black coffee or perhaps a "Wine what sudden friendship springs".
The general atmosphere in the place is great. Music, decorations, and overall feel is very nice and cosy. Its just my kind of place to go for a coffee where I can enjoy it whether alone or with friends.

g. i. (.Such the best place we went in Dublin : owners are deeply kind and food is gorgeous. We went here with my girlfriend and we stayed for three hours. I coudln't taste their irish coffee, but it seems to be excellent in view of our neighbors who tasted one.
And prices are really, really soft : Less than 10 euros for all the huge sandwiches and omelettes.

G. C.We stopped in for breakfast and the amosphere was pleasant and the service was prompt and friendly. There are old pictures on the walls and other nice touches. Although the place was about half full the food and coffee were both pretty quick (under 10 minutes).
The cappuccino was made with real milk and espresso coffee, the milk wasn't particularly aerated and the coffee was very strong. No skim/half milk options available.
Breakfast food was mixed. Everything had a liberal sprinkling of dried herbs on them, which wasn't appealing. The eggs were under seasoned. Bacon was well done with nicely rendered fat and good level of caramelisation. Vegetables were nicely dressed and fresh. Suggest staying away from scrambled eggs and asking for no herb sprinkling. Soda bread is a fun addition but nothing too exciting when eaten.
All up, prices seem a bit high for the level of quality so I wouldn't come back.

The funny thing is I'm pretty sure everyone who works there is Italian. The restaurant had a funky vibe. Get ready for to see a lot of naked art.
