There was two lovely Romanians lady's in the kitchen. I don't know who made this lovely delicious breakfast but I would like to say ,, Mulțumesc frumos,, and a very polite gentleman at the counter.
M. B.Usually we would give 5 stars, but service today was not good at all.
We waited about 20 minutes after been served our cakes to get our drinks! This was after making 2 trips to the counter to remind them we hadn't gotten them.

A. L.It's a very cute spot that went above my expectations! We had the mini Irish breakfast and it was a generous tasty platter then we followed it by delicious pastry. The staff are lovely and very welcoming.
I'm visiting Dublin for the first time and I'm glad this was my first breakfast experience, I'll be coming back for more!
Did I mention that the coffee is divine? Very earthy subtle chocolate notes, and no sour aftertaste, very smooth finish to the last drop.

Two thick pieces of excellent bread, soaked in egg and toasted properly, dusted with powdered sugar, topped with two generous pieces of bacon and accompanied by a selection of fresh berries and a tin cup of maple syrup. It was fantastic. Well worth the wait and a decent value in this city.
J. A.This was a very busy cafe offering an extensive selection of what looked like good food. I was fasting so just had a double espresso and sparkling water, both of which were great. My only gripe is that the water was in a plastic bottle and getting served took a long time. Also the main man was as miserable as it gets.

Ordered the French toast and asked to replace the bacon with sausages and they did it, no problem. Coffee arrived hot! So great to see coffee being delivered. The breakfast was delicious, it arrived so quick. Everytime I pop in for a pastry the service is wonderful. Great prices too!
R. C.Food was inexpensive and tasty. The scramble d eggs were light and tasted good. Orange juice was definitely freshly squeezed and doesn't have the sugared taste you get from store. The atmosphere is very relaxed.

d. w.Last Sunday we were in the wooden whisk myself and my wife it was very busy but the service was excellent and the food was fantasy the coffee was amazing the staff were all very friendly especially the member of staff who was in charge male dark skin age around 30 he was very professional very sincere very friendly and helpful and the member of staff was very customer focused .we really did enjoy the experience in the cafe because of the way we were being look aftered would highly recommend this cafe if your in Dublin city centre I myself would go again and I have told family and friends about it aswell.

P. U.Breakfasts look great, I saw pancakes, irish breakfast freshly made, coffee ok. Service a tad slow. Seats outside. They also do oat milk cappuccinos, freshly squeezed orange juice.

J. T.While waiting for our accommodations to be ready, a local suggested we check out The Wooden Whisk around the corner. Well we simply fell in love with their toasties! Our first breakfast in Dublin turned into the spot we returned to the next two days. They have a great selection of pastries, eggs, coffees, and teas. This is the only place in Dublin we ever got breakfast from, and we're okay with that! Definitely recommend a stop here for a casual breakfast to fuel you for exploring all Dublin has to offer.

Two thick slices of brioche, barely toasted in some parts and desiccated in others, two steamed rashers and no syrup. It was so disappointing and for 10.80 felt more than a little ripped off. Nice coffee though.

D. L.This place was very busy when I came on a Tuesday morning. As a result, staff were a little frazzled and I had to wait a little to find somewhere to sit. The apple strudel was well spiced but could have been improved with warm custard rather than cold, as it was served. But the raspberry scone was the best I'd ever had. I would happily go back here to have a scone every day!
A. D.Tasty brunch options, but the cakes are worse than a standard supermarket. The coffee is pretty decent, but overall it's not worth the price. My favourite baked good is their chocolate muffin...but it's more expensive than Starbucks.
We used to come every weekend for brunch for about a month but then we realized there are other, better options in the area.

L. M.This is my fav go to firstly for a coffee as they use proper Italian coffee that actually TASTES like coffee not just hot milk! Also the food is really good tasty and good value...and the cakes are simply to die for are so delicious and MASSIVE in size I literally have to walk by staring at the opposite wall! Tho if I do indulge one is defintley sufficient for two. The staff are the friendliest ever and an amazing at their job. A. D.The first inviting thing about this cafe is that it has an amazing selection of cakes. Even if you're not having cakes, this is an excellent place for both food and drink. Me and my mum came here for brunch, where I had scrambled eggs on toast along with a hot chocolate. The scrambled eggs tasted great, as they used artisan toast which was delicious. The hot chocolate was also excellent as it has a real taste of melted chocolate. The place itself and it's toilet facilities are clean and up to standard. While you're enjoying your drink or meal you have a lovely smell to be treated with. Would highly recommend!
M. W.Normally go here for brill coffee n scones. Tried their all day breakfast.... Good food, well presented. The meal is served on a wooden board... Personally, this doesn't bother me ... But I know some people prefer the good, old fashioned plate.... I'm sure the meal would be served this way, if requested.
O. V.Great cafe.love the cakes here. So sophisticated. They have bigger size and half size to all tastes and purses. The only what upsets me is that they work only till 8 pm. So many times we wanto to spend time till 10-11 pm but the Wooden Whisk around 8 pm offers take away only. Please consider working longer hours by the end of the week!

We had their brunch options: the salmon one et the avocado one. Both were very good. Healthy breakfast :)
We also had a brownie but it was a bit dry and crumbly, a bit disappointing as we had read some very good reviews about it.
I have to add that the waiters seemed a bit lost, they were not very efficient and quite confused about our orders. It seemed to be the case for the tables around us too.
Overall as our breakfasts were really good I will stick to a 4 stars and hopped that the waiters will be more efficient next time :)

T. k.I work across the road and have always found staff very friendly when i pop in for a coffee, we often treat ourselves to breakfast there, the breakfast is so nice, it fills you for the day, try the avocado and poached eggs, its so tasty. Love going there!

Z. W.I went in for tea but they had stopped serving hot food, the waiter said he can do a few things but it would just be microwaved, so I had chicken enchiladas and they were beautiful! I went back in for breakfast the following morning and splashed out on the French toast and again it was thouroughly enjoyed! Will definetly be visiting next time!
