Nice space, good food. Coffee could have been hotter, was quite lukewarm… but overall enjoyed our brunch :)
A. T.
Absolutely delicious food. Serious quality at an affordable price. A highly recommended brunch spot.
V. M.
What a cute place to enjoy your coffee and brunch. Ordered the beans with Chorizo and egg and lentils and broccoli salad. Lovely and tasty ideas. Liked the iced coffee too, especially on a hot day it's a must. Friendly staff too.
E.
Nice place for brunch. Food is nice but the place is quite busy during the weekends. I would say that between 12 and 3pm you will have to wait to be seated and the food can take time. Apart from the brunch and atmosphere are really good.
Prices are average or a bit higher
D. L.
Nice brunch spot with friendly service. Had the crab cakes with poaches eggs - very tasty. Tea came in a large pot too and kept me going through the meal. Not too fond of the open space layout but it happens to be bright and not as loud as expected.
M. S.
Went here yesterday and ordered the chicken and chorizo sandwich after staff eventually came to take my order after waiting a good while .I have to say it was really nice and I enjoyed it . However my experience was spoilt went I went to pay and was told they only except card payments this was extremely embarrassing for me as I don't use my card due to being out of work and having limited funds . I had to go to the bank lodge money into my account then come back again . I could of been saved the embarrassment if there were signs up clearly stating that they only except card payments. I maid the point to the waitress who informed me that it dose state it on the menu but you wouldn't notice it as its extremely small . I needed to pick up and item for a friend afterwards but when I got there the office was closed all of this could of been avoided with clear signs .

Must try coffee shop around Rathmines.

Such a lovely place to have brunch.
Waitress are 100‰ willing to serve and to help any time. Cozy atmosphere. And food well served for the price.
M. S.
Just experienced the most wonderful caring young man working in Two fifty Square Rathmines...... His name is Mikey.... A credit to his parents...... He made what was a very stressful situation so easy for us..... A pleasure to meet him.... Coffee and food beautiful...
G. H.
Amazing! Ordered a brunch box, absolutely delicious. It even came with beautiful glass bottles of Tasty homemade lemonade and had such excellent coffee with it! I Can’t wait to try the many lunch options.
When this place opens again I will be frequent customer. Two outdoor areas and such a beautiful fit-out, great staff too!
A. P.
Lovely place outside and inside with a nice vibe and great staff. Interesting things in the menu apart from the regular brunch stuff. I’ll definitely come back
S. P.
Always a great experience to be here. Usually we crash in for the weekend brunch with friends. Some great items on their menu. Love their V60 and Aeropress. Great for filter or any style coffee. Highly recommend.
M. W.
Top quality spot for coffee and brunch. Ozzie gang run it so they know what they’re at.
Chorizo portion would make you cartwheel around the room
S. R.
Great place! Nice atmosphere, amazing food and coffee. They roast the coffee themselves. Try the V60 or the air press with the Ethiopian blend! Food wise, try the ham & cheese sandwich + the soup of the day or the patatas bravas!
S.
DELICIOUS - I had the chicken sandwich..so tasty. We were very lucky to only wait 2 min for the table as it was packed. We also got a free apple crumble (really nice) and soya latte coffe.
L. S.
Very nice place and food. Just a bit loud so not the place for a quite brunch.
M. S.
Coffee and brunch place in rathmines. A bit off the shot. They serve brunch all day long on weekends at least. Good coffee selection, pretty pricey though - 4€ for a coffee.
S. T.
One of the OG coffee hubs in Dublin that brought coffee up a notch. Family owned with a passion for a great product. You might have had some of their coffee in other stores as they supply now but don’t miss a chance to get the real thing from the flagship!
S. T.
Lovely brunch place and that coffee is just so njammyy..😊
B. P.
Great experience here. Brownie was good. Gets very crowded but they really do make an effort to clear tables fast. There is also an outdoor area
L. P.
lovely spot for a family brunch, cosy and welcoming. Staff really nice, great choice for food and high quality. Really recommended.
N. O. c.
Place to go for coffee....by far best coffee I ever had. It's a pity the cup leaked
I.
Plenty of places to go to in Rathmines if you want a coffee. This place is slightly off the beaten track, not located on the main drag, and that to me is part of it's appeal. Prompt service and reasonable prices, it has seating outside in the form of benches which helps a lot in these Covid lockdown times. Hard to fault but nothing particularly unique either. Just another coffee joint in a quieter part of the town.
S. J.
Pretty nice healthy/hipster restaurant! Called in ahead of time to make a reservation, which was def a good choice because it is a popular place. There were a lot of families doing brunch on the weekend with small children. I came with a friend with a young infant and the layout of the place is children friendly so that was convenient. The breakfast burrito was good and the Vietnamese coffee was pretty good.
C. A.
Great place for a brunch. The space is very big and has a nice vibe, the menu has a lot of options. I got a halloumi burger that was delicious and very fulfilling. The prices are a little on the expensive side but I think they are worth, considering the quality of the food and the portions. Also the service was spot on and they roast their own coffee. I'll go back for sure.
C. S.
Great place. The atmosphere is really nice, you can see how everybody is working and cooking.
The dishes are big and both my boyfriend and me were really full.
It can be considered a little bit expensive, but it is not different from any restaurant, and the food is awesome.
K. D.
Nice surroundings. 5 of us for brunch here on a Sunday. Although my coffee was nice, others were cold. The wait time for food was way too long. My first time here but I was told by others that this is normal for this restaurant. I had kale and avocado ciabatta and it was delicious. But because of wait time, I wouldn't be rushing back.
A. K.
Cafe was great - nice interior, layout and staff. I had the crab cakes and an Ethiopian blend espresso. Crab cakes were good but could have done with a little more seasoning. Coffee was delicious. Would very highly recommend.
S. N.
Pretty good measures for COVID, great coffee as always.
C. E.
Great food, relaxed atmosphere and excellent coffee.
K. P.
Amazing coffee! Delicious salads. Sunny spacious interior.
I. Š.
Really nice setting. Outside and inside. Dog friendly. But unfortunately overpriced and on busy days you might be expected to wait for a long time, not only to get the food, but to get the menu as well. And more than once you might get overlooked by the server when you want to order. If price and time are of no importance to you, you won't be disappointed. The food is pleasing and the people working there are kind.
E. J. C.
Yum! Such a good selection and choice from menu. Beautiful space. Sound staff
J. P.
After waiting 10 mins for a table we were told the maximum wait time for food was 30 minutes. Over 40 minutes later our food arrived, having sat on the counter for 5 minutes.
My food was good but anything would taste good when you’ve had to wait the bones of an hour for you food. The portions were far too small, I left the restaurant almost as hungry as I arrived.
My girlfriend’s porridge was undercooked and her toast was cold. It took them another 10 minutes to correct it and once it came back it was still less than mediocre.
The coffee is good, if you like strong coffee.
The waitress, Claire, couldn’t have been nicer to our complaints and was clearly quite stressed as they were very busy. She’s the only thing stopping this being a 1 star review.
Avoid at the weekends, go at a quiet time.
f.
I like the atmosphere here and the idea here but the food wasn’t great enough to give a 5 star. I think the sandwich was great, but another brunch dish I had here wasn’t the best. But overall it’s a cute cafe and it’s not on the Main Street so I like the concept
T. R.
Delicious food. Breezy open space. Comfortable. Trendy. Highly recommended. Great place for breakfast/brunch on the weekend. You can see the chefs cooking which is really nice. Staff are generally friendly. 👍👍🔥🖤
B. S.
Great variety of high quality coffees served by knowledgeable and friendly staff.
The food is lovely and never disappoints.
You can take away Two Fifty Square's own coffee beans from a variety of origins and have them ground to your taste if desired.
A trip to Two Fifty Square is not cheap but is good value for what you get.
C. M.
Great coffee / brunch spot in Rathmines. We went on a Bank Holiday Monday and the place was absolutely packed. We queued for about 10 mins and am glad we did. The staff are so chill and lovely. The coffee is to die for and the menu is brilliant. I could have eaten everything. Out food took a long time to come out but I imagine that’s solely because it was lunchtime on a Bank Holiday and the place was as full as could be.
Would highly recommend especially for those who love their coffee.
P. H.
We went on a Saturday at 11 for brunch, and we were seated right away. The service was very slow and it took nearly 10 minutes for us to get someone's attention to take our order. The atmosphere was really good and it's very family friendly, but we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. The food was excellent, but the service was a turn off.
A. G.
Great food - savoury crepe was incredible !
K. J.
This place is a regular Saturday Brunch spot for me. They're coffee blends are excellent and I always get the Brunch Tortilla because it's bomb! It's just off the beaten track, so be sure to seek it out when your in the Rathmines neighborhood.
E. C.
Great coffee and eggs available all day every day! The mushroom and halloumi burger is absolutely gorgeous and they have lovely tray bakes and brownies. We'll definitely be back
K. M.
One of the best brunches I have had in Dublin in my four years living there and brunching every weekend. Especially liked the avacado smash, with pulled ham and feta on the side. The roasties are incredible. General atmosphere is pleasant and staff and nice. It's a must eat brunch place!
B. G.
Great coffee! We didn't try the food (we had just eaten) but we will be back for something soon. Spoke to a few of the staff (maybe the owners?) very open, friendly and modest.
Would definitely recommend!
S. S.
Always Excellent Coffee Top 5 in Dublin for Sure, Well done Guys 👏
A. T.
Very good brunch and lunch. The coffee is quite good, though not in Dublin's top 10. My only gripe is the bizarrely loud and intrusive music that is blasted out into the dining room. Even after several guests commented on it, the staff did nothing.
N. M.
The best coffee in love Dublin... for northern I need to see some more...
m. s.
I was brought here this morning for a brunch and I had the crab cakes, topped with poached eggs and served with pickled red onion. Absolutely delicious. Coffee a little on the bitter side for my liking.
M.
The place looks hipster alright, bright and funky so quite attractive. My experience wasn't as pleasent as I thought. I was there early before going to a class, there was only 5 tables busy and some already served. I decided to order something quick, a ham and cheese croissant. Well it took 15 minutes as I checked because I had to go. No idea why, I reminded the waitress but I saw the itdelay was coming from the kitchen.. finally I have it. I had to eat it fast to run out to my class. The croissant wasn't nice and moist, was dry and based on the price nearly 7 euro, and how easy it is to make it, I was disappointed.
Lastly, time to pay.. they have the iPad to contactless, and the tip question with the % comes up. It's very uncomfortable to have that option, and even worst if the staff is standing there looking.
A. S. K.
Recommend the chocolate chip cookies - they are gooey goodness!
R. L. (.
Nice place for a fancy coffee. Staff mostly is very nice and friendly with a rare exception now and then ;)
A. B.
Really cool little place. Looks like a mini warehouse where they roast the coffee beans right in the back! The staff was quite friendly, and service was quick. The staff seems to be at least mostly Spanish and the dishes have a Spanish flair to them ( I had the pancakes with dulce de lece ) with amazing results. The coffee was top notch as well.
Not much to say other than, great food, delicious coffee, friendly staff, excellent value.
Eat here!
E. M.
Amazing food, great coffee and excellent dishes that are full of flavour! Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a coffee to go or who wants to sit it and enjoy some amazing food! I will be back!
L. M.
I love this place for brunch!! It has a nice menu combined with great coffee and tea. You should try the sweet pancakes, they are made with the best homemade dulce de leche in town.
Also, great art hanging on the walls. It even has a Solus original masterpiece in the patio!
G. R.
Friendly service and delicious coffee. They roast their own beans and brew some of the best coffee in Dublin. Breakfast/brunch is spot on— highly recommend it!
T. S.
Two fifty square is my go to place for coffee in Dublin. Serving the best specialty coffee in town. The staff are knowledgeable about the coffee they are serving which helps if you buy a bag of beans (roasted in Dublin) to brew coffee at home, they can provide you with the right methods for the specific bean you have bought.
J. D.
I have been here loads of times. The food is great, the place is very friendly, and the staff are great. In fact I am presently editing a collection of letters written in 1917 over several cups of tea.
Its off the main street in Rathmines which always means it is less frenetic though it is always busy. I enjoy it, I hope you do.

Melbourne coffee shop vibes in a cosy pocket of Rathmines. Great coffee and food round out friendly service with a smile. The world map and coffee-bean bags pinned above the door are a nice touch.
Expect the place to be jammers at the weekend, during the week and practically whenever. Remember, it is a coffee shop!

Love this place in the heart of Rathmines. Iv grown up in Rathmines so I’m delighted to have this gem on my door step. The food is top class, coffee is perfect and the staff are always friendly. Keep up the good work guys.
H. I. D.
We have nothing but good experience with this coffee shop. Vegetarian friendly, amazing staff and great food. The place is family friendly, just next to Rathmines Cinema, Swan shopping centre and Swimming pool. 5 out of 5!
G. D.
Had a fantastic Sunday lunch.
Magnificent !!
D. C.
The place is nice and cozy. Coffee is really good and food is tasty. The staff is efficient and friendly. It can be a little bit pricey if you compared it to other places in the area. I would recommend it
T. O.
Very bright environment and good service, food was ver good and perfect for brunch. People are very friendly and their stile is cool.
I like it a lot, I'll definitely be back here next time.
B. J.
Two Fifty Square are rapidly getting a great name for their coffee which you'll find in some of the best bars, restaurants and hotels around Ireland, and this is where they roast it on-site at their café. They always have a wide range of single origin varietals to try and their baristas are well trained in all brew techniques, so you get to enjoy something quite unique.
But 250's hidden secret is its food. Sublime, every item on the hot food menu is full of simple innovative flavour, with just enough twists on classic brunch items to genuinely excite you.
Their pastries and scones aren't quite up to par unfortunately and it'd be great to see them offer something more refined here, but absolutely every other item on their menu is absolutely on-point.
B. A.
Great coffee & gave my dog a nice bowl of chilled water! Will be back!
J. H.
€3.70 for a cappuccino, bit much for me... and the card machine asks you to tip... I know it's just asking but I feel pressured to tip although I really don't want to just for buying a coffee (this is Ireland not the US where topping culture is different)... I would tip if food was involved maybe... It's a nice place with nice staff but the cost and card machine tip setting just makes me want to go elsewhere.
A. L.
Always great coffee from their onsite roastery. Food is only ok compared to other speciality coffee shops in the area. (Eg) Five Points, FIA, Pot bellied pig, Grove rd, Brother Hubbards, etc.
J. T.
Love this place. They make the best coffee and poached eggs. Their little patio gets tons of sun, it's very child friendly, and an overall super place to catch up with pals
V. C.
A bad day withTwo Fifty Square Coffee is better than a good without... Ethiopian bean my favourite.
A. C.
Great food and coffee, and convenient location right in the center of Rathmines. There's always a buzzing crowd here, and it's a great place to go for a casual brunch. Lovely interior decor.
C. C.
Thought this place was great nice little spot. Very warm and comfortable food was great and liked the portions as normally i feel breakfast places dont give enough but no problem here would definitely return great spot.
P.
Nice little find in the heart of Rathmines. Just take a seat and a waiter will take your orders! Very spacious, loads of seats and great for meeting friends or just working away.
O. J.
Nice place, does good coffee. Very hip. Had the pancakes which were deep fried, they were different but still very nice. Nice relaxed atmosphere in a very nice premesis
N. M.
Like 85% of other places in Dublin, overpriced and boring. I don’t know why people here don’t have a culture of eating out and make GOOD food for reasonable money. And Two Fifty Square is like any other place in Dublin, just no. Rather fly to London for the 20 euros and eat there than spend money here on boring food.
G. R.
Good food, coffee and venuebut the loud music is so obnoxious. The 70s disco blasting totally kills the vibe and the conversation. Please pick another playlist and turn down the volume.
I. M.
Came in the very last minute but the guys there were more than welcoming, even let me chose the beans for my cappuccino, I chose the one from Ethiopia and it was fantastic! Will definitely come back!
l. b.
Beautiful coffee, tasty food, lots of light, very cozy and the waiters are very kind! Totally recommended for a relaxing cup in the morning (or anytime, really)
S. D.
Great for coffee, change the menu every once in a while but do a nice breakfast burrito. Overall a great brunch place.
T. T.
Very nice food, great staff, quality coffees. Pleasant atmosphere, busy a lot of the time for a good reason.
A. L.
Nice trendy coffee shop and bistro. Hefty prices, good coffee. Didn't try the food, but it looked very good.
M. C.
Excellent ,good humoured young staff, great makeover during lockdown, those guys and dolls know what they are at.
P. M. G.
Great spot, with awesome coffee and friendly staff. Don't go weekday lunchtime if you're not a fan of kids. Mid-morning is best time to visit.
P. M.
One of my favourites. Chilled. Great food and great coffee. Can get busy but never really a long wait
S. C.
The chai latte was magnificent and very friendly service.
J. M.
Good spot. Super trendy. Very busy on weekends. Food was good. Coffee was cold and average. Way overpriced for a cafe on an empty lane.
E. M.
Australian style roastery cafe. Highly recommended if you are in to avocado and eggs. I really like here, favourite place for breakfast / brunch
S. M.
Great coffee, roasted on site. We didn't eat there but wish we did. Food looked and smelled delicious.
P. H.
Great coffee, but you would get better going to tesco for a pastry they are very poor quality. Such a shame as it's a lovely place.
O. M.
Nice place, good coffee.
If you want food, be prepaired to wait 45-60 min for your order to arive.
B. H.
Very enjoyable experience. Lovely and kind staff. Very nice coffee I recommend the granola or the savoury pancakes :)
d. s.
Asked for extra hot latte. Came out lukewarm . Bit pricey at 3euro for a standard cup. Muffin nearly 3 euro also. Sorry but you've lost me as a repeat customer.
K. S.
Hidden just steps away from Rathmines Road. This Café/Roastery is perfect for spending a few hours studying, reading or chatting. The coffee and food are top notch.
F. K.
Slightly expensive but the best coffee you can find in Dublin town

Very nice coffee, lovely decor, nice staff. Only 3 stars for the poached eggs that were almost hard boiled...
P. D.
A nice airy casual place for a coffee or light meal, just off the main Rathmines Road Lower. My only crib is that is a little expensive. !!
I. V.
It's a nice place with good food but they always take too long to give the order. I waited for 20 minutes in two different occasions and the place wasn't that crowded!
L. C. S.
Really nice brunch place! Great service, very mixed menu & food was delicious!
D. K.
Amazing fresh food, coffee and ambiance tucked away from the main road. Very friendly staff, cool layout and architecture.

N. G. F.

Some dishes are ok, but that is it: only ok.
I would recommend to go during the week days

A banging place. cracking breakfast, chilled chillout zone. A place away from humdum but a place very much alive. A coffee and book readers utopia tucked aside in the center of rathmines. Fondness embued for it in me
